Pohlepa je dobra. Hm, čuvena rečenica iz filma "The Wall Street" ima smisla ako ta ista pohlepa ne ubije sam izvor zarade. Odluka o osnivanju Superlige jest upravo to – sumanut pokušaj još većeg zgrtanja novca na račun nogometa i kontra nogometa.

Najpopularniji sport na kugli zemaljskoj postao je to zbog nekoliko činjenica: jednostavan je (mogu ga igrati klinci i na Grenlandu i u Sahari, trebaju im samo četiri kamena ili školske torbe i jedna lopta), pravila su svima jasna (nije to rukomet pa da imaš prijestup, korake, probijanje, pasivni napad, igru bez vratara i još puno toga što ne shvaćaju uvijek ni igrači, a kamoli navijači), ima priču (s VAR-om se već radi na ubijanju priče, jer da je bilo tog zločinačkog VAR-a, svijet ne bi desetljećima pričao o golu Engleza Nijemcima u finalu Mundijala niti o golu Maradone rukom Englezima) i romantiku (u nogometu uspijevaju i bogati i siromašni, i bijelci i crnci i "žuti"...).

I na kraju, nogomet ima navijače, ljude kojima je boja dresa jedna od najvažnijih stvari u životu.

Sada superligaši sve to bacaju u vodu da bi zgrnuli još, još i još. I neka ih. Neka ih UEFA, koja bi i sama morala ispaštati zbog počinjenih grijeha, pusti da krenu s tim projektom... Oni će na početku skupiti veliku lovu od marketinga i TV prava širom svijeta, pa će i taj jadni Arsenal ili Spurse napuniti nezamislivo dobro plaćenim zvijezdama kako bi ovi mogli održati ritam s vodećom ekipom, ali...

Prvo će ih prezreti vlastiti navijači. Zatim će to isto učiniti i ostatak europske nogometne javnost. Zaboga, tko će iz tjedna u tjedan gledati iste utakmice istih nogometnih klubova. A ni igračima se neće dati dugo igrati utakmice s početkom u podne (da to mogu gledati bogati Azijci koji su to platili stotinama milijuna nečega) ili u 11 navečer (da bi to mogli gledati bogati Ameri koji su također platili nekoliko stotina milijuna nečega). Ali genijalce koji su to osmislili nije briga niti za igrače niti za navijače.

Pa dobro, njihov problem, jer ta stvar, taj ubojica nogometa i svega zbog čega je nogomet to što jest – najpopularnija igra na svijetu – neumitno će dosaditi i krenuti svome kraju. A onda? Onda im UEFA mora reći: nema vam povratka. Zapravo ima, iz pete ili šeste nacionalne lige, pa polako natrag. Plus 10 godina bez nastupa na euronatjecanjima kad ostvarite pravo na njih. Niste zadovoljni? Okej, prebacite klub u Kinu, tamo ćete imati i publiku i lovu. Mi ćemo preživjeti bez vas.

Pohlepa je dobra. Hm, čuvena rečenica iz filma "The Wall Street" ima smisla ako ta ista pohlepa ne ubije sam izvor zarade. Odluka o osnivanju Superlige jest upravo to – sumanut pokušaj još većeg zgrtanja novca na račun nogometa i kontra nogometa.

Najpopularniji sport na kugli zemaljskoj postao je to zbog nekoliko činjenica: jednostavan je (mogu ga igrati klinci i na Grenlandu i u Sahari, trebaju im samo četiri kamena ili školske torbe i jedna lopta), pravila su svima jasna (nije to rukomet pa da imaš prijestup, korake, probijanje, pasivni napad, igru bez vratara i još puno toga što ne shvaćaju uvijek ni igrači, a kamoli navijači), ima priču (s VAR-om se već radi na ubijanju priče, jer da je bilo tog zločinačkog VAR-a, svijet ne bi desetljećima pričao o golu Engleza Nijemcima u finalu Mundijala niti o golu Maradone rukom Englezima) i romantiku (u nogometu uspijevaju i bogati i siromašni, i bijelci i crnci i "žuti"...).

I na kraju, nogomet ima navijače, ljude kojima je boja dresa jedna od najvažnijih stvari u životu.

Sada superligaši sve to bacaju u vodu da bi zgrnuli još, još i još. I neka ih. Neka ih UEFA, koja bi i sama morala ispaštati zbog počinjenih grijeha, pusti da krenu s tim projektom... Oni će na početku skupiti veliku lovu od marketinga i TV prava širom svijeta, pa će i taj jadni Arsenal ili Spurse napuniti nezamislivo dobro plaćenim zvijezdama kako bi ovi mogli održati ritam s vodećom ekipom, ali...

Prvo će ih prezreti vlastiti navijači. Zatim će to isto učiniti i ostatak europske nogometne javnost. Zaboga, tko će iz tjedna u tjedan gledati iste utakmice istih nogometnih klubova. A ni igračima se neće dati dugo igrati utakmice s početkom u podne (da to mogu gledati bogati Azijci koji su to platili stotinama milijuna nečega) ili u 11 navečer (da bi to mogli gledati bogati Ameri koji su također platili nekoliko stotina milijuna nečega). Ali genijalce koji su to osmislili nije briga niti za igrače niti za navijače.

Pa dobro, njihov problem, jer ta stvar, taj ubojica nogometa i svega zbog čega je nogomet to što jest – najpopularnija igra na svijetu – neumitno će dosaditi i krenuti svome kraju. A onda? Onda im UEFA mora reći: nema vam povratka. Zapravo ima, iz pete ili šeste nacionalne lige, pa polako natrag. Plus 10 godina bez nastupa na euronatjecanjima kad ostvarite pravo na njih. Niste zadovoljni? Okej, prebacite klub u Kinu, tamo ćete imati i publiku i lovu. Mi ćemo preživjeti bez vas.

Pohlepa je dobra. Hm, čuvena rečenica iz filma "The Wall Street" ima smisla ako ta ista pohlepa ne ubije sam izvor zarade. Odluka o osnivanju Superlige jest upravo to – sumanut pokušaj još većeg zgrtanja novca na račun nogometa i kontra nogometa.

Najpopularniji sport na kugli zemaljskoj postao je to zbog nekoliko činjenica: jednostavan je (mogu ga igrati klinci i na Grenlandu i u Sahari, trebaju im samo četiri kamena ili školske torbe i jedna lopta), pravila su svima jasna (nije to rukomet pa da imaš prijestup, korake, probijanje, pasivni napad, igru bez vratara i još puno toga što ne shvaćaju uvijek ni igrači, a kamoli navijači), ima priču (s VAR-om se već radi na ubijanju priče, jer da je bilo tog zločinačkog VAR-a, svijet ne bi desetljećima pričao o golu Engleza Nijemcima u fi...
