Lino Červar više nije izbornik hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije! Odbio je naime potpisati novi ugovor s Hrvatskim rukometnim savezom. Trener makedonskog Metalurga više nije u mogućnosti obnašati dvije funkcije istovremeno. Odlučio se za onu – (financijski) unosniju.

Tako Červar poslije osam godina napušta hrvatsku rukometnu reprezentaciju s kojom je na devet velikih natjecanja osam puta igrao u poluzavršnici i postao svjetskim prvakom (2003.) i olimpijskim pobjednikom (2004.).

Na izvanredno sazvanoj press-konferenciji u HRS-u Červar se nije pojavio. Poslao je tek priopćenje u kojemu ističe kako je ''prepun emocija i osjećaja tuge, ali i ponosa''. Podatak kako je posljednja reprezentacija s Europskog prvenstva 2002. za dvije godine postala svjetskim prvakom smatra činjenicu vrijednu za Guinnessovu knjigu .

- To je podvig, najvrednija poruka nade i putokaz za one koji u životu žele uspjeti – napisao je Červar.

- Ovo je i za nas neočekivana situacija. Prije dva mjeseca razgovarali smo s izbornikom Červarom i postigli načelni dogovor glede nastavka suradnje. Nažalost, došao je do zaključka kako ne može voditi istovremeno hrvatsku reprezentaciju i Metalurg. Odlučio je stoga prekinuti suradnju s HRS-om – naglasio je predsjednik Sandi Šola.

Nekoliko sati prije obraćanja medijima čelni ljudi HRS-a (Šola, Gobac i Poljak) još su jednom razgovarali s Červarom. Čak se pojavila i solucija da izbornik vodi reprezentaciju samo na pripremama i završnom turniru predstojećeg Svjetskog prvenstva.

- To je malo vjerojatna i de facto nama neprihvatljiva opcija. Hrvatska je reprezentacija preozbiljna institucija da ne bi imala izbornika u kontinuitetu.

Ideje o Červarovom nasljedniku Šola je nazvao špekulacijama.

- Ne znam tko će biti novi izbornik. Istina je da nemamo previše vremena glede odluke, ali nećemo brzati. Ime Červarovog nasljednika objavit ćemo oko 15. kolovoza. Do tada će reprezentaciju voditi preostali članovi stručnog stožera – Goluža, Šola i Babić.

Na novinarsku primjedbu da bi se Červar do tada mogao i predomisliti Šola je slegnuo ramenima.

- Sada već ulazimo u fazu razgovora ''kibi dabi''. Činjenica jest da Červaru 1. kolovoza istječe ugovor i da novi nije potpisao.

Lino Červar više nije izbornik hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije! Odbio je naime potpisati novi ugovor s Hrvatskim rukometnim savezom. Trener makedonskog Metalurga više nije u mogućnosti obnašati dvije funkcije istovremeno. Odlučio se za onu – (financijski) unosniju.

Tako Červar poslije osam godina napušta hrvatsku rukometnu reprezentaciju s kojom je na devet velikih natjecanja osam puta igrao u poluzavršnici i postao svjetskim prvakom (2003.) i olimpijskim pobjednikom (2004.).

Na izvanredno sazvanoj press-konferenciji u HRS-u Červar se nije pojavio. Poslao je tek priopćenje u kojemu ističe kako je ''prepun emocija i osjećaja tuge, ali i ponosa''. Podatak kako je posljednja reprezentacija s Europskog prvenstva 2002. za dvije godine postala svjetskim prvakom smatra činjenicu vrijednu za Guinnessovu knjigu .

- To je podvig, najvrednija poruka nade i putokaz za one koji u životu žele uspjeti – napisao je Červar.

- Ovo je i za nas neočekivana situacija. Prije dva mjeseca razgovarali smo s izbornikom Červarom i postigli načelni dogovor glede nastavka suradnje. Nažalost, došao je do zaključka kako ne može voditi istovremeno hrvatsku reprezentaciju i Metalurg. Odlučio je stoga prekinuti suradnju s HRS-om – naglasio je predsjednik Sandi Šola.

Nekoliko sati prije obraćanja medijima čelni ljudi HRS-a (Šola, Gobac i Poljak) još su jednom razgovarali s Červarom. Čak se pojavila i solucija da izbornik vodi reprezentaciju samo na pripremama i završnom turniru predstojećeg Svjetskog prvenstva.

- To je malo vjerojatna i de facto nama neprihvatljiva opcija. Hrvatska je reprezentacija preozbiljna institucija da ne bi imala izbornika u kontinuitetu.

Ideje o Červarovom nasljedniku Šola je nazvao špekulacijama.

- Ne znam tko će biti novi izbornik. Istina je da nemamo previše vremena glede odluke, ali nećemo brzati. Ime Červarovog nasljednika objavit ćemo oko 15. kolovoza. Do tada će reprezentaciju voditi preostali članovi stručnog stožera – Goluža, Šola i Babić.

Na novinarsku primjedbu da bi se Červar do tada mogao i predomisliti Šola je slegnuo ramenima.

- Sada već ulazimo u fazu razgovora ''kibi dabi''. Činjenica jest da Červaru 1. kolovoza istječe ugovor i da novi nije potpisao.
