Belgijac Thierry Neuville ne miri se nikako, niti cijela njegova momčad Hyundaija s kaznom koja mu je izrečena u noći s petka na subotu, a zbog prebrze vožnje nakon dionice, na putu do servisne postaje. Ne vjerujemo baš da je posrijedi nevoljkost plaćanja 1.900 eura ili da ga jedna toliko velika i jaka momčad nema. Predmnijevamo da nije riječ niti o kazni obveze odrađivanja dva dana javnog, društveno korisnog rada, koje mu je također "odrezala" FIA (Međunarodna automobilistička udruga). Riječ je više o načelu.
U konačnici, sam Julien Moncet, zamjenik šefa momčadi Hyundaija je pojasnio zašto su najavili ulaganje žalbe na jednominutnu kaznu na Croatia Rallyju i dva dana rada za opće dobro, a zbog prebrze vožnje, prenose Sportske novosti.
- U ovom trenutku mi imamo namjeru uložiti žalbu, nismo je još uložili - malo je pojasnio Moncet i nastavio:
- To je cijeli proces. Prvo morate izjaviti da se namjeravate žaliti, a zatim morate potvrditi da idete na žalbu. Za to imate 96 sati da to i učinite, tako da to još nije napravljeno - veli Moncet.
Drugim riječima, momčad Hyundaija ima vremena do utorka navečer odlučiti hoće li se žaliti na izrečenu kaznu ili ne.
- Da bismo to učinili, moramo prikupiti podatke, dokaze i činjenice, a ako je dossier dovoljno dobar, možemo nastaviti.

Poradi pojašnjenja, možda nije zgorega navesti što se zapravo dogodilo, pa i o kojem ili kolikom se prekoračenju brzine radilo. U petak, prvog dana relija, Neuville je bio drugoplasirani nakon četvrte dionice, ali je naišao na probleme pred kraj kruga kada je alternator na njegovom Hyundaiju počeo otkazivati. Neuville i suvozač Martijn Wydaeghe, koji je jednako kažnjen, radili su na automobilu nakon četvrte dionice, te su kasnili na pregled nadzora vremena na servisu. Kašnjenje se kažnjava oduzimanjem vremena, te su stoga odlučili prekoračiti ograničenje brzine na cesti kako bi izbjeći izricanje vremenske kazne.
Glede brzine, Thierry Neuville je prema zapisniku sudaca na dijelu ceste gdje je dopuštena brzina 80 km na sat (ne navodi se točna lokacija), vozio gotovo dvostruko brže odnosno 156 km na sat. Usputno, pomni pratitelji relija uvjeravaju nas da mu je to druga godina zaredom u kojoj se suočava s kaznom s prekoračenjem brzine. Julien Moncet, drugi čovjek Hyundaijeve momčadi ne spori brojke glede brzine vožnje.
- Sigurno ne osporavamo brzinu. To je jasno. Ali mislim da je to zaista, nemojte me krivo shvatiti, sramota. Kada smo u petak vidjeli Thierryja i Martijna kako guraju auto (punih 800 metara), bili su iscrpljeni, crveni u licu od napora, potpuno premoreni i bilo je jako, jako teško tada nakon svih njihovih napora reći im - "Da, ali nažalost imate na sve još i jednu minutu kazne". Podrazumijeva se pitanje sigurnosti, ali rekao bih da valja voditi računa i o sportskom aspektu.
Valjat će izgleda ipak pričekati utorak, pa vidjeti hoće li se Hyundai žaliti. Iako, čega dakako nisu svjesni, imaju silnu sreću. Žalbu podnose, i o njoj će raspravljati mjerodavan sud FIA. Zamislite da se moraju žaliti nekom sudu u Hrvatskoj, pa im odmah za početak zakažu prvo ročište u... listopadu 2023. Odustali bi od žalbe odmah, uplatili 1.900 eura i odradili 2 dana u pučkoj kuhinji.

Predmnijevamo da nije riječ niti o kazni obveze odrađivanja dva dana javnog, društveno korisnog rada, koje mu je također "odrezala" FIA (Međunarodna automobilistička udruga). Riječ je više o načelu.
U konačnici, sam Julien Moncet, zamjenik šefa momčadi Hyundaija je pojasnio zašto su najavili ulaganje žalbe na jednominutnu kaznu na Croatia Rallyju i dva dana rada za opće dobro, a zbog prebrze vožnje, prenose Sportske novosti.
- U ovom trenutku mi imamo namjeru uložiti žalbu, nismo je još uložili - malo je pojasnio Moncet i nastavio:
- To je cijeli proces. Prvo morate izjaviti da se namjeravate žaliti, a zatim morate potvrditi da idete na žalbu. Za to imate 96 sati da to i učinite, tako da to još nije napravljeno - veli Moncet.
Drugim riječima, momčad Hyundaija ima vremena do utorka navečer odlučiti hoće li se žaliti na izrečenu kaznu ili ne.
- Da bismo to učinili, moramo prikupiti podatke, dokaze i činjenice, a ako je dossier dovoljno dobar, možemo nastaviti.

Poradi pojašnjenja, možda nije zgorega navesti što se zapravo dogodilo, pa i o kojem ili kolikom se prekoračenju brzine radilo. U petak, prvog dana relija, Neuville je bio drugoplasirani nakon četvrte dionice, ali je naišao na probleme pred kraj kruga kada je alternator na njegovom Hyundaiju počeo otkazivati. Neuville i suvozač Martijn Wydaeghe, koji je jednako kažnjen, radili su na automobilu nakon četvrte dionice, te su kasnili na pregled nadzora vremena na servisu. Kašnjenje se kažnjava oduzimanjem vremena, te su stoga odlučili prekoračiti ograničenje brzine na cesti kako bi izbjeći izricanje vremenske kazne.
Glede brzine, Thierry Neuville je prema zapisniku sudaca na dijelu ceste gdje je dopuštena brzina 80 km na sat (ne navodi se točna lokacija), vozio gotovo dvostruko brže odnosno 156 km na sat. Usputno, pomni pratitelji relija uvjeravaju nas da mu je to druga godina zaredom u kojoj se suočava s kaznom s prekoračenjem brzine. Julien Moncet, drugi čovjek Hyundaijeve momčadi ne spori brojke glede brzine vožnje.
- Sigurno ne osporavamo brzinu. To je jasno. Ali mislim da je to zaista, nemojte me krivo shvatiti, sramota. Kada smo u petak vidjeli Thierryja i Martijna kako guraju auto (punih 800 metara), bili su iscrpljeni, crveni u licu od napora, potpuno premoreni i bilo je jako, jako teško tada nakon svih njihovih napora reći im - "Da, ali nažalost imate na sve još i jednu minutu kazne". Podrazumijeva se pitanje sigurnosti, ali rekao bih da valja voditi računa i o sportskom aspektu.
Valjat će izgleda ipak pričekati utorak, pa vidjeti hoće li se Hyundai žaliti. Iako, čega dakako nisu svjesni, imaju silnu sreću. Žalbu podnose, i o njoj će raspravljati mjerodavan sud FIA. Zamislite da se moraju žaliti nekom sudu u Hrvatskoj, pa im odmah za početak zakažu prvo ročište u... listopadu 2023. Odustali bi od žalbe odmah, uplatili 1.900 eura i odradili 2 dana u pučkoj kuhinji.
