Najdugovječniji izbornik u povijesti hrvatskog sporta smijenjen je sa svoje funkcije, koju je obnašao od 1992. godine.

Riječ je o Bošku Čavki, izborniku dizača utega, najzaslužnijem što je Hrvatska pred kraj devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća angažirala Nikolaja Pešalova, a on će pod hrvatskom zastavom na Olimpijskim igrama u Sydneyju 2000. godine osvojiti prvu pojedinačnu zlatnu medalju za našu zemlju, pišu Sportske novosti.

Četiri godine kasnije Pešalov je briljantnu karijeru zaključio broncom na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni, te se oprostiti s četiri medalje u nizu na Igrama (dvije je osvojio za Bugarsku).

- Niti su me zvali na sastanak, niti su me obavijestili da više nisam izbornik. Za odluku sam doznao preko svojih kanala – otkrio je ojađeni Čavka.

Ono što je u ovoj priči vrlo zanimljivo jest da je Čavki presudio Pešalov, koji je predsjednik Hrvatskog dizačkog saveza od prošle godine. Izvršni odbor se sastao prije više od dva tjedna, na stranicama Saveza o tome još nema niti slova. Kontaktirali smo tajnika Amara Musića, našeg najuspješnijeg dizača nakon Pešalova. Evo što nam je on rekao:

- Odluku o smjeni donio je Izvršni odbor, ali ja kao glavni tajnik nisam znao ništa o tome, niti sam službeno obaviješten. Iskreno, ima nas dosta koji smo zatečeni s ovim potezom. Koliko znam, Boško Čavka je o tome doznao od dva člana Izvršnog odbora.
Čavka smatra da „nema nezamjenjivih“, ali jasno je da neće tek tako prijeći preko ovoga.

- S obzirom da je ovo potpuno netransparentan potez, sada ću ja tražiti njihove ostavke. Od predsjednika do članova Izvršnog odbora. Dobar dio njih je u odbor dospio zahvaljujući meni.

Inače, za vršitelja dužnosti izbornika postavljen je Ivan Knez iz zagrebačkog Metalca.

Najdugovječniji izbornik u povijesti hrvatskog sporta smijenjen je sa svoje funkcije, koju je obnašao od 1992. godine.

Riječ je o Bošku Čavki, izborniku dizača utega, najzaslužnijem što je Hrvatska pred kraj devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća angažirala Nikolaja Pešalova, a on će pod hrvatskom zastavom na Olimpijskim igrama u Sydneyju 2000. godine osvojiti prvu pojedinačnu zlatnu medalju za našu zemlju, pišu Sportske novosti.

Četiri godine kasnije Pešalov je briljantnu karijeru zaključio broncom na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni, te se oprostiti s četiri medalje u nizu na Igrama (dvije je osvojio za Bugarsku).

- Niti su me zvali na sastanak, niti su me obavijestili da više nisam izbornik. Za odluku sam doznao preko svojih kanala – otkrio je ojađeni Čavka.

Ono što je u ovoj priči vrlo zanimljivo jest da je Čavki presudio Pešalov, koji je predsjednik Hrvatskog dizačkog saveza od prošle godine. Izvršni odbor se sastao prije više od dva tjedna, na stranicama Saveza o tome još nema niti slova. Kontaktirali smo tajnika Amara Musića, našeg najuspješnijeg dizača nakon Pešalova. Evo što nam je on rekao:

- Odluku o smjeni donio je Izvršni odbor, ali ja kao glavni tajnik nisam znao ništa o tome, niti sam službeno obaviješten. Iskreno, ima nas dosta koji smo zatečeni s ovim potezom. Koliko znam, Boško Čavka je o tome doznao od dva člana Izvršnog odbora.
Čavka smatra da „nema nezamjenjivih“, ali jasno je da neće tek tako prijeći preko ovoga.

- S obzirom da je ovo potpuno netransparentan potez, sada ću ja tražiti njihove ostavke. Od predsjednika do članova Izvršnog odbora. Dobar dio njih je u odbor dospio zahvaljujući meni.

Inače, za vršitelja dužnosti izbornika postavljen je Ivan Knez iz zagrebačkog Metalca.

Četiri godine kasnije Pešalov je briljantnu karijeru zaključio broncom na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni, te se oprostiti s četiri medalje u nizu na Igrama (dvije je osvojio za Bugarsku).
