Dvije susjedne sjeveroistočne španjolske pokrajine Katalonija i Aragonija postigle su dogovor o zajedničkoj kandidaturi za domaćina Zimskih olimpijskih igara 2030., objavili su u ponedjeljak španjolski mediji.

La Vanguardia, dnevni list sa sjedištem u Barceloni, objavio je da je predsjednik Španjolskog olimpijskog odbora Alejandro Blanco poslao službeno pismo španjolskom premijeru Pedru Sanchezu i predstavnicima lokalnih vlasti s detaljima o kandidaturi koja će u dogledno vrijeme biti predstavljena Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru.

Japanski grad Sapporo, koji je ugostio Igre 1972., smatra se favoritom za domaćina ZOI 2030., a interes su pokazala još dva grada koji su bili domaćinima - kanadski Vancouver i američki Salt Lake City.

Ideja o domaćinstvu izazvala je podjele u javnosti u spomenute dvije španjolske regije, posebno zato što katalonska vlada koja se zalaže za nezavisnost, nije željela da Aragonija bude uključena u kandidaturu, zbog političkih razmimoilaženja.

Domaćinstvu se protive i aktivisti koji su upozorili da bi organizacija Igara mogla imati negativne posljedice po klimu na Pirinejskom poluotoku.

Katalonska vlada je obznanila plan o održavanju referenduma na kojem bi se građani mogli izjasniti o ideji o domaćinstvu Igara. Referdumi na tu temu, koji su proteklih godina održavani na području potencijalnih domaćina, uglavnom su bili kobni za kandidacijski proces. 

Katalonija je bila domaćin Ljetnih olimpijskih igara, što je hrvatskim ljubiteljima sporta ostalo u posebnom sjećanju. Naime, hrvatski sportaši su 1992. u Barceloni prvi put nastupili na Ljetnim olimpijskim igrama pod hrvatskim barjakom.

Prema sadašnjem planu organizatora, Katalonija bi 2030. bila domaćin sportovima koji se održavaju u dvoranama, dok bi se na području Aragonije održavala natjecanja na snijegu.

Dvije susjedne sjeveroistočne španjolske pokrajine Katalonija i Aragonija postigle su dogovor o zajedničkoj kandidaturi za domaćina Zimskih olimpijskih igara 2030., objavili su u ponedjeljak španjolski mediji.

La Vanguardia, dnevni list sa sjedištem u Barceloni, objavio je da je predsjednik Španjolskog olimpijskog odbora Alejandro Blanco poslao službeno pismo španjolskom premijeru Pedru Sanchezu i predstavnicima lokalnih vlasti s detaljima o kandidaturi koja će u dogledno vrijeme biti predstavljena Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru.

Japanski grad Sapporo, koji je ugostio Igre 1972., smatra se favoritom za domaćina ZOI 2030., a interes su pokazala još dva grada koji su bili domaćinima - kanadski Vancouver i američki Salt Lake City.

Ideja o domaćinstvu izazvala je podjele u javnosti u spomenute dvije španjolske regije, posebno zato što katalonska vlada koja se zalaže za nezavisnost, nije željela da Aragonija bude uključena u kandidaturu, zbog političkih razmimoilaženja.

Domaćinstvu se protive i aktivisti koji su upozorili da bi organizacija Igara mogla imati negativne posljedice po klimu na Pirinejskom poluotoku.

Katalonska vlada je obznanila plan o održavanju referenduma na kojem bi se građani mogli izjasniti o ideji o domaćinstvu Igara. Referdumi na tu temu, koji su proteklih godina održavani na području potencijalnih domaćina, uglavnom su bili kobni za kandidacijski proces. 

Katalonija je bila domaćin Ljetnih olimpijskih igara, što je hrvatskim ljubiteljima sporta ostalo u posebnom sjećanju. Naime, hrvatski sportaši su 1992. u Barceloni prvi put nastupili na Ljetnim olimpijskim igrama pod hrvatskim barjakom.

Prema sadašnjem planu organizatora, Katalonija bi 2030. bila domaćin sportovima koji se održavaju u dvoranama, dok bi se na području Aragonije održavala natjecanja na snijegu.

Dvije susjedne sjeveroistočne španjolske pokrajine Katalonija i Aragonija postigle su dogovor o zajedničkoj kandidaturi za domaćina Zimskih olimpijskih igara 2030., objavili su u ponedjeljak španjolski mediji.

La Vanguardia, dnevni list sa sjedištem u Barceloni, objavio je da je predsjednik Španjolskog olimpijskog odbora Alejandro Blanco poslao službeno pismo španjolskom premijeru Pedru Sanchezu i predstavnicima lokalnih vlasti s detaljima o kandidaturi koja će u dogledno vrijeme biti predstavljena Međunarodnom olimpijskom odboru.

Japanski grad Sapporo, koji je ugostio Igre 1972., smatra se favoritom za domaćina ZOI 2030., a interes su pokazala još dva grada koji su bili domaćinima - kanadski Vancouver i američki Salt Lake City.
