Može li čudesno izborena pobjeda nad Derbyjem u Podgorici u rijetko viđenoj drami postati prekretnica sezone košarkaša Splita? Pitali smo se to nakon što je poslije minus 19 osam i pol minuta prije kraja Toni Perković zabio za 92:91 pobjedu sa zvukom sirene. Može, ako je suditi prema još jednoj gostujućoj pobjedi ‘žutih‘ u Admiral Bet ABA ligi u Laktašima kod Igokee 80:77. Opet smo gledali dramu, ovaj put i produžetke koje su Splićani sami sebi zakuhali jer su prokockali plus 6 u zadnjih 48 sekundi. Međutim, opet su slavili na strani. A sa skorom 6-9 sada desetom Splitu više ni osmo mjesto odnosno play off ne izgleda nedostižno, udaljeno je tek jednu pobjedu (četiri sastava imaju pobjedu više, ali i odigrani susret manje). A pretposljednjoj Krki na poziciji koja vodi u dodatne kvalifikacije sastav trenera Slavena Rimca bježi tri pobjede (također uz susret više).

Ušli su klimavo Rimčevi igrači u sezonu, nije momčad ‘legla‘, a u nas nema vremena da se netko prilagodi (Cameron Shelton na europsku košarku) ni čekanja. Trebalo je odlučiti što napraviti.

Sportski direktor Teo Čizmić uz podršku direktora Dejana Žaje povukao je hrabar potez. Otvorio se prozor, prilika, da se napravi nešto što nije bilo izvedivo prije sezone, da se vrate Shannon Shorter i Lewis Sullivan. Na kraju prošle sezone bilo ih je nemoguće zadržati jer su dobrim igrama u klubu s Gripa mogli i uspjeli u drugim zemljama izboriti ugovore kakvi su za Split nemoguća misija, čak i višestruko više. Međutim, Shorteru se nakon eskalacije sukoba u Izraelu u općoj atmosferi nesigurnosti nije ostajalo u Egiptu. A Sullivan se u Francuskoj nije osjećao doma, kao što se s obitelji osjeća u Splitu. Čizmić je riskirao i zasad se čini - pogodio.

Tko riskira - profitira

Shelton i Shamiel Stevenson su otišli, nije to dodatno koštalo klub, a Shorter i Sullivan su se uklopili kao da nisu nikada ni otišli. I u Laktašima je spomenuti dvojac bio najbolji od ‘žutih‘. Ne poklapaju se serije baš potpuno s odlascima/dolascima, ali Split je regionalnu ligu otvorio skorom 1-7, a u posljednjih sedam susreta ima omjer 5-2!

U međuvremenu je otišao i Lovro Gnjidić, nezadovoljan statusom. Najjači manager s ovih prostora Miško Ražnatović ‘parkirao‘ ga je u Megu, a na njegovo mjesto stigao je još jedan njegov igrač mladi Vito Kučić iz Cedevite Junior koji u Laktašima nije debitirao. Vidjet ćemo kako će se snaći u regionalnoj ligi, ali poznavajući ono što je pokazivao u sastavu bivšeg izbornika Damira Mulaomerovića, potez je to koji uz dugogodišnji ugovor također zaslužuje palac gore.

Međutim, jedan problem ‘žuti‘ ne mogu ili će teško riješiti, sramotan status kod sudaca u regionalnoj ligi. U susretu u Laktašima gledali smo prvo poluvrijeme u kojem je Igokea izvela čak 19, a Split samo šest slobodnih bacanja. Potom i bizarne scene do kojih su doveli suci, u kojima su Splitovi domaći suigrači valjda već naviknuti na takav tretman smirivali Amerikance Shortera i Sullivana koji se s nekim odlukama kod dijeljenja pravde jednostavno nisu mirili.

U idućem susretu Split je u domaćoj Favbet Premijer ligi gost Dinama u Zagrebu u nedjelju (16.30 sati, prijenos MaxSport).

Može li čudesno izborena pobjeda nad Derbyjem u Podgorici u rijetko viđenoj drami postati prekretnica sezone košarkaša Splita? Pitali smo se to nakon što je poslije minus 19 osam i pol minuta prije kraja Toni Perković zabio za 92:91 pobjedu sa zvukom sirene. Može, ako je suditi prema još jednoj gostujućoj pobjedi ‘žutih‘ u Admiral Bet ABA ligi u Laktašima kod Igokee 80:77. Opet smo gledali dramu, ovaj put i produžetke koje su Splićani sami sebi zakuhali jer su prokockali plus 6 u zadnjih 48 sekundi. Međutim, opet su slavili na strani. A sa skorom 6-9 sada desetom Splitu više ni osmo mjesto odnosno play off ne izgleda nedostižno, udaljeno je tek jednu pobjedu (četiri sastava imaju pobjedu više, ali i odigrani susret manje). A pretposljednjoj Krki na poziciji koja vodi u dodatne kvalifikacije sastav trenera Slavena Rimca bježi tri pobjede (također uz susret više).

Ušli su klimavo Rimčevi igrači u sezonu, nije momčad ‘legla‘, a u nas nema vremena da se netko prilagodi (Cameron Shelton na europsku košarku) ni čekanja. Trebalo je odlučiti što napraviti.

Sportski direktor Teo Čizmić uz podršku direktora Dejana Žaje povukao je hrabar potez. Otvorio se prozor, prilika, da se napravi nešto što nije bilo izvedivo prije sezone, da se vrate Shannon Shorter i Lewis Sullivan. Na kraju prošle sezone bilo ih je nemoguće zadržati jer su dobrim igrama u klubu s Gripa mogli i uspjeli u drugim zemljama izboriti ugovore kakvi su za Split nemoguća misija, čak i višestruko više. Međutim, Shorteru se nakon eskalacije sukoba u Izraelu u općoj atmosferi nesigurnosti nije ostajalo u Egiptu. A Sullivan se u Francuskoj nije osjećao doma, kao što se s obitelji osjeća u Splitu. Čizmić je riskirao i zasad se čini - pogodio.

Tko riskira - profitira

Shelton i Shamiel Stevenson su otišli, nije to dodatno koštalo klub, a Shorter i Sullivan su se uklopili kao da nisu nikada ni otišli. I u Laktašima je spomenuti dvojac bio najbolji od ‘žutih‘. Ne poklapaju se serije baš potpuno s odlascima/dolascima, ali Split je regionalnu ligu otvorio skorom 1-7, a u posljednjih sedam susreta ima omjer 5-2!

U međuvremenu je otišao i Lovro Gnjidić, nezadovoljan statusom. Najjači manager s ovih prostora Miško Ražnatović ‘parkirao‘ ga je u Megu, a na njegovo mjesto stigao je još jedan njegov igrač mladi Vito Kučić iz Cedevite Junior koji u Laktašima nije debitirao. Vidjet ćemo kako će se snaći u regionalnoj ligi, ali poznavajući ono što je pokazivao u sastavu bivšeg izbornika Damira Mulaomerovića, potez je to koji uz dugogodišnji ugovor također zaslužuje palac gore.

Međutim, jedan problem ‘žuti‘ ne mogu ili će teško riješiti, sramotan status kod sudaca u regionalnoj ligi. U susretu u Laktašima gledali smo prvo poluvrijeme u kojem je Igokea izvela čak 19, a Split samo šest slobodnih bacanja. Potom i bizarne scene do kojih su doveli suci, u kojima su Splitovi domaći suigrači valjda već naviknuti na takav tretman smirivali Amerikance Shortera i Sullivana koji se s nekim odlukama kod dijeljenja pravde jednostavno nisu mirili.

U idućem susretu Split je u domaćoj Favbet Premijer ligi gost Dinama u Zagrebu u nedjelju (16.30 sati, prijenos MaxSport).
