Hrvatska muška košarkaška reprezentacija okupila se u srijedu u Zagrebu na početku priprema za posljednji krug pretkvalifikacijskih utakmica za plasman na Europsko prvenstveno 2025.

Izborniku Josipu Sesaru ovo je prva reprezentativna akcija u novoj ulozi, a na njegovom popisu nalazi se sljedećih 16 igrača:

Borna Kapusta, Lovro Gnjidić, Goran Filipović, Mate Kalajžić, Toni Perković, Roko Badžim, Luka Krajinović, Mateo Drežnjak, Lovro Mazalin, Renato Serdarušić, Roko Prkačin, Dario Drežnjak, Leo Menalo, Danko Branković, Antonio Vranković, Krešimir Ljubičić.

“Moram biti iskren i reći da sam jedva čekao ovo okupljanje i da krenemo s pripremama. Što se tiče spiska, čekali smo zbog potvrde nekih igrača tko može doći, tko ne može i to je razlog zašto je popis kasnije izašao. Jako sam zadovoljan i svi momci sa spiska su pozitivno reagirali. Nadam se da će to prenijeti i na parket. Želim pohvaliti igrače koji su tu i koji su se odazvali. U nijednom trenutku nisu postavili pitanje zašto, kako će to biti ili za neke beneficije. Ovi igrači će dati sve od sebe i idemo iz dana u dan. Što se tiče ovih igrača koji nisu tu, ne bih htio komentirati, imaju svoje razloge i ozljede", rekao je Sesar.

Hrvatska će pripreme odraditi u Opatiji gdje će odigrati i tri prijateljske utakmice protiv Slovače (9. srpnja) i Kine (12. i 15. srpnja), a onda i ugostiti Irsku i Luksemburg u pretkvalifikacijama za EuroBasket. Irsku će dočekati 19. srpnja, a Luksemburg tri dana kasnije. Potom slijede gostovanja kod Irske 29. srpnja u Dublinu i kod Luksemburga 2. kolovoza u Luxembourgu. Kako bi nastavila kvalifikacije, Hrvatska mora osvojiti prvo mjesto u skupini.

Centar Danko Branković prošlu je sezonu proveo u srpskom sastavu Mega.

"Nakon duge sezone u klubu sam sada tu, u Megi je bilo dosta treninga i malo utakmica, tako da sada imati u mjesec dana sedam utakmica je odličan osjećaj. Što više utakmica, to bolje. Spremni smo za rad i pobjede te idemo dati sve od sebe. Prvo imamo prijateljsku utakmicu sa Slovačkom, nadam se da ćemo to dobro iznijeti, slijedi Kina za koju ne znam kakva je tako da ćemo vidjeti kako će to biti. Što se tiče Irske i Luksemburga u pretkvalifikacijama - to se nadam svim pobjedama", kazao je Branković.

Razigravač Lovro Gnjidić nije imao puno prilika za igru u dresu Cedevite Olimpije poršle sezone.

"Isto kao i Danko, veselim se što sam ovdje, idemo dati sve od sebe i idemo na pobjede. Hvala izborniku na pozivu,tu se mogu dokazati i to je svima sada najbolja prilika", kratak je bio Gnjidić.

Hrvatska muška košarkaška reprezentacija okupila se u srijedu u Zagrebu na početku priprema za posljednji krug pretkvalifikacijskih utakmica za plasman na Europsko prvenstveno 2025.

Izborniku Josipu Sesaru ovo je prva reprezentativna akcija u novoj ulozi, a na njegovom popisu nalazi se sljedećih 16 igrača:

Borna Kapusta, Lovro Gnjidić, Goran Filipović, Mate Kalajžić, Toni Perković, Roko Badžim, Luka Krajinović, Mateo Drežnjak, Lovro Mazalin, Renato Serdarušić, Roko Prkačin, Dario Drežnjak, Leo Menalo, Danko Branković, Antonio Vranković, Krešimir Ljubičić.

“Moram biti iskren i reći da sam jedva čekao ovo okupljanje i da krenemo s pripremama. Što se tiče spiska, čekali smo zbog potvrde nekih igrača tko može doći, tko ne može i to je razlog zašto je popis kasnije izašao. Jako sam zadovoljan i svi momci sa spiska su pozitivno reagirali. Nadam se da će to prenijeti i na parket. Želim pohvaliti igrače koji su tu i koji su se odazvali. U nijednom trenutku nisu postavili pitanje zašto, kako će to biti ili za neke beneficije. Ovi igrači će dati sve od sebe i idemo iz dana u dan. Što se tiče ovih igrača koji nisu tu, ne bih htio komentirati, imaju svoje razloge i ozljede", rekao je Sesar.

Hrvatska će pripreme odraditi u Opatiji gdje će odigrati i tri prijateljske utakmice protiv Slovače (9. srpnja) i Kine (12. i 15. srpnja), a onda i ugostiti Irsku i Luksemburg u pretkvalifikacijama za EuroBasket. Irsku će dočekati 19. srpnja, a Luksemburg tri dana kasnije. Potom slijede gostovanja kod Irske 29. srpnja u Dublinu i kod Luksemburga 2. kolovoza u Luxembourgu. Kako bi nastavila kvalifikacije, Hrvatska mora osvojiti prvo mjesto u skupini.

Centar Danko Branković prošlu je sezonu proveo u srpskom sastavu Mega.

"Nakon duge sezone u klubu sam sada tu, u Megi je bilo dosta treninga i malo utakmica, tako da sada imati u mjesec dana sedam utakmica je odličan osjećaj. Što više utakmica, to bolje. Spremni smo za rad i pobjede te idemo dati sve od sebe. Prvo imamo prijateljsku utakmicu sa Slovačkom, nadam se da ćemo to dobro iznijeti, slijedi Kina za koju ne znam kakva je tako da ćemo vidjeti kako će to biti. Što se tiče Irske i Luksemburga u pretkvalifikacijama - to se nadam svim pobjedama", kazao je Branković.

Razigravač Lovro Gnjidić nije imao puno prilika za igru u dresu Cedevite Olimpije poršle sezone.

Josip Sesar: Jedva sam čekao ovo okupljanje, nitko nije pitao zašto, kako će to biti ili za neke beneficije

Hrvatska muška košarkaška reprezentacija okupila se u srijedu u Zagrebu na početku priprema za posljednji krug pretkvalifikacijskih utakmica za plasman na Europsko prvenstveno 2025.

Izborniku Josipu Sesaru ovo je prva reprezentativna akcija u novoj ulozi, a na njegovom popisu nalazi se sljedećih 16 igrača:

Borna Kapusta, Lovro Gnjidić, Goran Filipović, Mate Kalajžić, Toni Perković, Roko Badžim, Luka Krajinović, Mateo Drežnjak, Lovro Mazalin, Renato Serdarušić, Roko Prkačin, Dario Drežnjak, Leo Menalo, Danko Branković, Antonio Vranković, Krešimir Ljubičić.

“Moram biti iskren i reći da sam jedva čekao ovo okupljanje i da krenemo s pripremama. Što se tiče spiska, čekali smo zbog potvrde nekih igrača tko može doći, tko ne može i to je razlog zašto je popis kasnije izašao. Jako sam zadovoljan i svi momci sa spiska su pozitivno reagirali. Nadam se da će to prenijeti i na parket. Želim pohvaliti igrače koji su tu i koji su se odazvali. U nijednom trenutku nisu postavili pitanje zašto, kako će to biti ili za neke beneficije. Ovi igrači će dati sve od sebe i idemo iz dana u dan. Što se tiče ovih igrača koji nisu tu, ne bih htio komentirati, imaju svoje razloge i ozljede", rekao je Sesar.

Hrvatska će pripreme odraditi u Opatiji gdje će odigrati i tri prijateljske utakmice protiv Slovače (9. srpnja) i Kine (12. i 15. srpnja), a onda i ugostiti Irsku i Luksemburg u pretkvalifikacijama za EuroBasket. Irsku će dočekati 19. srpnja, a Luksemburg tri dana kasnije. Potom slijede gostovanja kod Irske 29. srpnja u Dublinu i kod Luksemburga 2. kolovoza u Luxembourgu. Kako bi nastavila kvalifikacije, Hrvatska mora osvojiti prvo mjesto u skupini.

Centar Danko Branković prošlu je sezonu proveo u srpskom sastavu Mega.
