Košarkaši Crvene zvezde pobjednici su regionalne ABA lige, oni su u odlučujućoj petoj utakmici finala doigravanja svladali prošlogodišnjeg prvaka Budućnost iz Podgorice sa 97-54 (18-13, 29-8, 27-16, 23-17).

Posljednji ovosezonski susret ABA lige odigran u neregularnim uvjetima u dvorani "Aleksandar Nikolić" u Beogradu. Zbog fizičkog napada na igrače Budućnost kada su izašli na zagrijavanje, početak utakmice je kasnio sat vremena, iako je nevjerojatno da se nakon takvog incidenta izašlo na teren.

Iz Budućnosti su objavili kako su njezini igrači gađani "svim mogućim tvrdim predmetima, kovanicama, baterijama za telefon, kamenjem, punim flašama, dijelovima metle, upaljačima, stolicama... Gordić je gađan stolicom koju je bacio navijač iz partera".
Kada je utakmica počela, Crvena zvezda brzo je ostvarila prednost od 18-8, Budućnost je do kraja prve četvrtine smanjila na 18-13, ali je u drugih 10 minuta igrao samo domaći sastav koji je na odmor otišao s nevjerojatnih 47-21. U drugom poluvremenu prednost Crvene zvezde narasla je i do najvećih 44 razlike.

Kelvin Rivers je sa 21 košem bio najefikasniji kod Crvene zvezde, dok je Norris Cole ubacio devet poena za Budućnost. 

Za Crvenu zvezdu ovo je četvrti naslov pobjednika  ABA lige, nakon 2015., 2016. i 2017  godine, a ovim naslovom osigurala je i nastup u Euroligi sljedeće sezone.

Košarkaši Crvene zvezde pobjednici su regionalne ABA lige, oni su u odlučujućoj petoj utakmici finala doigravanja svladali prošlogodišnjeg prvaka Budućnost iz Podgorice sa 97-54 (18-13, 29-8, 27-16, 23-17).

Posljednji ovosezonski susret ABA lige odigran u neregularnim uvjetima u dvorani "Aleksandar Nikolić" u Beogradu. Zbog fizičkog napada na igrače Budućnost kada su izašli na zagrijavanje, početak utakmice je kasnio sat vremena, iako je nevjerojatno da se nakon takvog incidenta izašlo na teren.

Iz Budućnosti su objavili kako su njezini igrači gađani "svim mogućim tvrdim predmetima, kovanicama, baterijama za telefon, kamenjem, punim flašama, dijelovima metle, upaljačima, stolicama... Gordić je gađan stolicom koju je bacio navijač iz partera".
Kada je utakmica počela, Crvena zvezda brzo je ostvarila prednost od 18-8, Budućnost je do kraja prve četvrtine smanjila na 18-13, ali je u drugih 10 minuta igrao samo domaći sastav koji je na odmor otišao s nevjerojatnih 47-21. U drugom poluvremenu prednost Crvene zvezde narasla je i do najvećih 44 razlike.

Kelvin Rivers je sa 21 košem bio najefikasniji kod Crvene zvezde, dok je Norris Cole ubacio devet poena za Budućnost. 

Za Crvenu zvezdu ovo je četvrti naslov pobjednika  ABA lige, nakon 2015., 2016. i 2017  godine, a ovim naslovom osigurala je i nastup u Euroligi sljedeće sezone.
