- Za svaku je momčad bitno da ima igrače koji mogu pričati na travnjaku i što više i što bolje voditi momčad. Ako sam jedan od njih taj posao radim zbog zajedničkog uspjeha. Ako kao malo stariji mogu pomagati mlađe suigrače onda ću to i raditi za zajednički interes - rekao je Miličević na koncu kupreškog dijela priprema momčadi s Poljuda.



Ako je iza nekog mnogo priprema među hajdukovcima i ako je kompetentan da o njima sudi onda je to Miličević. On je s najavama oprezno stao na loptu svjestan da je to još prerano.
- Tek smo počeli. Svakodnevno naporno radimo, programirano. Vidi se kako je sve planski posloženo. Mnogo se radi na snazi, svi smo već umorni no na taj način radimo na našem karakteru što mi se sviđa. Uvjeren sam da ćemo na kraju biti spremni - vjeruje Miličević.

Australski Hrvat koji je igrao i u Europi (Švicarska - Zürich, Basel, Thun, Young Boys) ipak se morao malo priviknuti na dalmatinski mentalitet, opušteniju atmosferu u trenucima kada se ne trenira, ali i još više na specifično navijačko okruženje. Nije mu mnogo trebalo.
- Ni moj mentalitet nije mnogo drukčiji, svi volimo nogomet i želimo uspjeh. Svi znamo kako se ovdje najviše cijene rad i srce. Nije mi bilo teško prilagoditi se - rekao je Miličević.

Navijačka pomama za Hajdukom počela je već tijekom priprema i na prijateljskim susretima, što će tek biti kada krene sezona, kada dođe Barcelona... Pogotovo bude li start i rezultatski dobar.
- Čast nam je da nas navijači stalno prate. Kada dolaze u ovako velikom broju to je za nas pozitivan pritisak. Bolje igrati pred tisućama ljudi nego pred praznim tribinama.

Miličeviću se u zreloj fazi karijere ispunio dječački san da zaigra za Hajduk. Na Poljudu pak sanjaju par stopera australskih Hrvata Miličević-Šimunić. Strpljenja opet treba kao i u slučaju Miličevića, no san bi se mogao i obistiniti. Kada već nisu u seniorskoj reprezentaciji Australije mogli bi zajedno igrati u Hajduku.
- Dođe li Šimunić, budem li mogao uz njega igrati u Hajduku to će biti super. Šimunić je svjetski igrač, dugo je igrao u Njemačkoj. Ne moram mnogo pričati o Šimuniću i njegovim kvalitetama. Kao stoper uz njega bi još mnogo mogao naučiti.

- Za svaku je momčad bitno da ima igrače koji mogu pričati na travnjaku i što više i što bolje voditi momčad. Ako sam jedan od njih taj posao radim zbog zajedničkog uspjeha. Ako kao malo stariji mogu pomagati mlađe suigrače onda ću to i raditi za zajednički interes - rekao je Miličević na koncu kupreškog dijela priprema momčadi s Poljuda.



Ako je iza nekog mnogo priprema među hajdukovcima i ako je kompetentan da o njima sudi onda je to Miličević. On je s najavama oprezno stao na loptu svjestan da je to još prerano.
- Tek smo počeli. Svakodnevno naporno radimo, programirano. Vidi se kako je sve planski posloženo. Mnogo se radi na snazi, svi smo već umorni no na taj način radimo na našem karakteru što mi se sviđa. Uvjeren sam da ćemo na kraju biti spremni - vjeruje Miličević.

Australski Hrvat koji je igrao i u Europi (Švicarska - Zürich, Basel, Thun, Young Boys) ipak se morao malo priviknuti na dalmatinski mentalitet, opušteniju atmosferu u trenucima kada se ne trenira, ali i još više na specifično navijačko okruženje. Nije mu mnogo trebalo.
- Ni moj mentalitet nije mnogo drukčiji, svi volimo nogomet i želimo uspjeh. Svi znamo kako se ovdje najviše cijene rad i srce. Nije mi bilo teško prilagoditi se - rekao je Miličević.

Navijačka pomama za Hajdukom počela je već tijekom priprema i na prijateljskim susretima, što će tek biti kada krene sezona, kada dođe Barcelona... Pogotovo bude li start i rezultatski dobar.
- Čast nam je da nas navijači stalno prate. Kada dolaze u ovako velikom broju to je za nas pozitivan pritisak. Bolje igrati pred tisućama ljudi nego pred praznim tribinama.

Miličeviću se u zreloj fazi karijere ispunio dječački san da zaigra za Hajduk. Na Poljudu pak sanjaju par stopera australskih Hrvata Miličević-Šimunić. Strpljenja opet treba kao i u slučaju Miličevića, no san bi se mogao i obistiniti. Kada već nisu u seniorskoj reprezentaciji Australije mogli bi zajedno igrati u Hajduku.
- Dođe li Šimunić, budem li mogao uz njega igrati u Hajduku to će biti super. Šimunić je svjetski igrač, dugo je igrao u Njemačkoj. Ne moram mnogo pričati o Šimuniću i njegovim kvalitetama. Kao stoper uz njega bi još mnogo mogao naučiti.
