Ljetnim vrućinama usprkos, srpanj je bio uspješan mjesec za lokalne ribiče i za Javnu ustanovu „Nacionalni park Krka“, koji su prionuli na izlov invazivnih riječnih vrsta, u prvom redu štuke. Tijekom aktivnosti u sklopu Pilot projekta selektivnog izlova stranih vrsta slatkovodnih riba iz vodotoka unutar NP „Krka“, proteklog mjeseca četrnaest ribiča ulovilo je ukupno 151 jedinku štuke na lokacijama Torak, Nos Kalik, Visovačko jezero i manastir Krka.

Cilj toga pilot-projekta selektivni je izlov stranih vrsta slatkovodnih riba iz vodotoka u NP „Krka“ radi smanjenja gustoće njihovih populacija. Time se smanjuje negativni utjecaj koje one imaju na zavičajnu riblju zajednicu, te se ponovo uspostavljaju adekvatni uvjeti za zavičajne vrste riba i osigurava njihov opstanak. Smanjenje utjecaja invazivnih vrsta, sprječavanje njihova širenja i njihovo uklanjanje gdje god je to moguće smatraju se prioritetima zaštite biološke raznolikosti u Europskoj uniji, a i država Hrvatska pridaje im veliku važnost.

Podsjetimo se, zbog unesenih invazivnih vrsta koje prijete autohtonim riječnim vrstama, izrađen je Protokol za izlov invazivnih vrsta, prema kojemu je duž obala Krke počeo izlov invazivne vrste štuke.

Ribičima zahvaljujemo na tomu što su prepoznali važnost te akcije i odazvali se pozivu Ustanove, potvrdivši svojim sudjelovanjem da su svjesni važnosti zaštite riječnog ekosustava. Do sada se prijavilo šezdeset pet lokalnih ribiča. S obzirom da je riječ o dugoročnom projektu, njegov uspjeh ovisi o kontinuiranim i organiziranim aktivnostima izlova. Podaci prikupljeni od ribiča koristit će se kao jedna od metoda praćenja stanja.

Osim selektivnog ribolova, u sklopu projekta provest će se i edukacija na temu važnosti nadzora brojnosti populacije invazivnih vrsta i metoda njihove trajne redukcije. Edukaciju će provesti eminentni stručnjaci koji su sudjelovali u izradi Protokola, na čelu s prof. dr. sc. Davorom Zanellom iz Zoologijskog zavoda Biološkog odsjeka Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Endemične i rijetke slatkovodne ribe uvrštavaju Krku, u ihtiološkom pogledu, u prirodni spomenik od najveće nacionalne i međunarodne vrijednosti. Ribe su važan bioindikator kvalitete okoliša pa su stanje njihovih populacija i zastupljenost u NP „Krka“ pokazatelji očuvanosti kvalitete vode rijeke Krke.

Ljetnim vrućinama usprkos, srpanj je bio uspješan mjesec za lokalne ribiče i za Javnu ustanovu „Nacionalni park Krka“, koji su prionuli na izlov invazivnih riječnih vrsta, u prvom redu štuke. Tijekom aktivnosti u sklopu Pilot projekta selektivnog izlova stranih vrsta slatkovodnih riba iz vodotoka unutar NP „Krka“, proteklog mjeseca četrnaest ribiča ulovilo je ukupno 151 jedinku štuke na lokacijama Torak, Nos Kalik, Visovačko jezero i manastir Krka.

Cilj toga pilot-projekta selektivni je izlov stranih vrsta slatkovodnih riba iz vodotoka u NP „Krka“ radi smanjenja gustoće njihovih populacija. Time se smanjuje negativni utjecaj koje one imaju na zavičajnu riblju zajednicu, te se ponovo uspostavljaju adekvatni uvjeti za zavičajne vrste riba i osigurava njihov opstanak. Smanjenje utjecaja invazivnih vrsta, sprječavanje njihova širenja i njihovo uklanjanje gdje god je to moguće smatraju se prioritetima zaštite biološke raznolikosti u Europskoj uniji, a i država Hrvatska pridaje im veliku važnost.

Podsjetimo se, zbog unesenih invazivnih vrsta koje prijete autohtonim riječnim vrstama, izrađen je Protokol za izlov invazivnih vrsta, prema kojemu je duž obala Krke počeo izlov invazivne vrste štuke.

Ribičima zahvaljujemo na tomu što su prepoznali važnost te akcije i odazvali se pozivu Ustanove, potvrdivši svojim sudjelovanjem da su svjesni važnosti zaštite riječnog ekosustava. Do sada se prijavilo šezdeset pet lokalnih ribiča. S obzirom da je riječ o dugoročnom projektu, njegov uspjeh ovisi o kontinuiranim i organiziranim aktivnostima izlova. Podaci prikupljeni od ribiča koristit će se kao jedna od metoda praćenja stanja.

Osim selektivnog ribolova, u sklopu projekta provest će se i edukacija na temu važnosti nadzora brojnosti populacije invazivnih vrsta i metoda njihove trajne redukcije. Edukaciju će provesti eminentni stručnjaci koji su sudjelovali u izradi Protokola, na čelu s prof. dr. sc. Davorom Zanellom iz Zoologijskog zavoda Biološkog odsjeka Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Endemične i rijetke slatkovodne ribe uvrštavaju Krku, u ihtiološkom pogledu, u prirodni spomenik od najveće nacionalne i međunarodne vrijednosti. Ribe su važan bioindikator kvalitete okoliša pa su stanje njihovih populacija i zastupljenost u NP „Krka“ pokazatelji očuvanosti kvalitete vode rijeke Krke.

Ljetnim vrućinama usprkos, srpanj je bio uspješan mjesec za lokalne ribiče i za Javnu ustanovu „Nacionalni park Krka“, koji su prionuli na izlov invazivnih riječnih vrsta, u prvom redu štuke. Tijekom aktivnosti u sklopu Pilot projekta selektivnog izlova stranih vrsta slatkovodnih riba iz vodotoka unutar NP „Krka“, proteklog mjeseca četrnaest ribiča ulovilo je ukupno 151 jedinku štuke na lokacijama Torak, Nos Kalik, Visovačko jezero i manastir Krka.

Cilj toga pilot-projekta selektivni je izlov stranih vrsta slatkovodnih riba iz vodotoka u NP „Krka“ radi smanjenja gustoće njihovih populacija. Time se smanjuje negativni utjecaj koje one imaju na zavičajnu riblju zajednicu, te se ponovo uspostavljaju adekvatni uvjeti za zavičajne vrste riba i osigurava njihov opstanak.
