Predsjednik Republike Zoran Milanović rekao je u Oklaju u općini Promina, na obilježavanju spomendana na poginule u Domovinskom ratu, kako od političkih predstavnika građana srpske nacionalnosti očekuje da dođu u Oklaj, izraze žaljenje zbog krvoprolića te da se više ne smije ponoviti.

"Ljudi su ubijeni iz pakosti i bijesa zbog jedne uspješne operacije Hrvatske vojske u kojoj nije stradao niti jedan civil. Pod zaštitom UNPROFOR-a su bili ti ljudi, oni nisu mogli ništa i to je jedan akt zloće. Ljudi su se osjećali sigurnima i mogli su otići svojim obiteljima. Htjeli su ovdje dočekati starost", rekao je Milanović na obilježavanju spomendana na poginule branitelje i civile prominskog kraja u Domovinskom ratu i 140. obljetnice osnutka Općine koja je u Domovinskom ratu izgubila 23 branitelja, uz čak 49 civilnih žrtava. Uglavnom je bila riječ o starijim ljudima koji su tijekom velikosrpske okupacije ostali u svojim kućama.

Predsjednik je izrazio duboko poštovanje prema žrtvama u Promini tijekom Domovinskog rata, podsjetivši da takve tragedije ne smiju postati dio rutine, već moraju ostati trajna opomena o posljedicama nasilja, zločina i netolerancije.

Naglasio je i važnost sjećanja na žrtve, bez obzira na njihovu nacionalnost, te je podsjetio da kao hrvatski Predsjednik redovito posjećuje i poštuje stratišta srpskog naroda, uključujući i Jasenovac. Zapitao se zašto opet nitko od predstavnika SDSS-a nije došao odati počast žrtvama hrvatskog naroda u prominskom kraju.

“Imam ljudsko očekivanje da netko tko je politički predstavnik građana srpske nacionalnosti ovdje, da dođe ovdje i kaže - žao mi je, ovakve stvari se više ne smiju događati. Ja se nadam i vjerujem da se više neće događati", rekao je predsjednik države.

Osvrnuo se i na razvoj Hrvatske i njezinu pripadnost EU i Istaknuo da se Hrvatska razvija i napreduje te da koristi sredstva iz europskih fondova za unaprjeđenje društva i gospodarstva. Upozorio je i na potrebu da se Hrvatska ne oslanja isključivo na fondove EU-a, već da se fokusira na razvoj vlastitih resursa i sposobnosti kako bi osigurala održiv i samoodrživ napredak. "Koristite sredstva iz europskih fondova jer taj novac je u biti jedino što dobivamo od Europske unije. Dali smo dosta, dali smo dio svog duha u odlučivanju o stvarima koje nas se tiču", poručio je.

Istaknuo je i važnost aktivnog sudjelovanja građana u političkom procesu, potičući građane da budu glasni u traženju svojih prava i da budu aktivni sudionici u kreiranju vlastite budućnosti. Naglasio je da Hrvatska ima potencijal postati razvijena zemlja poput drugih europskih, te da nema razloga da hrvatski krajevi ne bude uspješni kao što su to neke regije u Austriji. U tom je kontekstu pozvao građane na jedinstvo i suradnju kako bi ostvarili zajednički cilj - prosperitetnu i naprednu Hrvatsku.

Predsjednik je u pratnji načelnika Općine Promina Tihomira Budanka obišao Spomen sobu u zgradi Općine, razgovarao s obiteljima žrtava Domovinskog rata te se upisao u knjigu žalosti.

Predsjednik Republike Zoran Milanović rekao je u Oklaju u općini Promina, na obilježavanju spomendana na poginule u Domovinskom ratu, kako od političkih predstavnika građana srpske nacionalnosti očekuje da dođu u Oklaj, izraze žaljenje zbog krvoprolića te da se više ne smije ponoviti.

"Ljudi su ubijeni iz pakosti i bijesa zbog jedne uspješne operacije Hrvatske vojske u kojoj nije stradao niti jedan civil. Pod zaštitom UNPROFOR-a su bili ti ljudi, oni nisu mogli ništa i to je jedan akt zloće. Ljudi su se osjećali sigurnima i mogli su otići svojim obiteljima. Htjeli su ovdje dočekati starost", rekao je Milanović na obilježavanju spomendana na poginule branitelje i civile prominskog kraja u Domovinskom ratu i 140. obljetnice osnutka Općine koja je u Domovinskom ratu izgubila 23 branitelja, uz čak 49 civilnih žrtava. Uglavnom je bila riječ o starijim ljudima koji su tijekom velikosrpske okupacije ostali u svojim kućama.

Predsjednik je izrazio duboko poštovanje prema žrtvama u Promini tijekom Domovinskog rata, podsjetivši da takve tragedije ne smiju postati dio rutine, već moraju ostati trajna opomena o posljedicama nasilja, zločina i netolerancije.

Naglasio je i važnost sjećanja na žrtve, bez obzira na njihovu nacionalnost, te je podsjetio da kao hrvatski Predsjednik redovito posjećuje i poštuje stratišta srpskog naroda, uključujući i Jasenovac. Zapitao se zašto opet nitko od predstavnika SDSS-a nije došao odati počast žrtvama hrvatskog naroda u prominskom kraju.

“Imam ljudsko očekivanje da netko tko je politički predstavnik građana srpske nacionalnosti ovdje, da dođe ovdje i kaže - žao mi je, ovakve stvari se više ne smiju događati. Ja se nadam i vjerujem da se više neće događati", rekao je predsjednik države.

Osvrnuo se i na razvoj Hrvatske i njezinu pripadnost EU i Istaknuo da se Hrvatska razvija i napreduje te da koristi sredstva iz europskih fondova za unaprjeđenje društva i gospodarstva. Upozorio je i na potrebu da se Hrvatska ne oslanja isključivo na fondove EU-a, već da se fokusira na razvoj vlastitih resursa i sposobnosti kako bi osigurala održiv i samoodrživ napredak. "Koristite sredstva iz europskih fondova jer taj novac je u biti jedino što dobivamo od Europske unije. Dali smo dosta, dali smo dio svog duha u odlučivanju o stvarima koje nas se tiču", poručio je.

Istaknuo je i važnost aktivnog sudjelovanja građana u političkom procesu, potičući građane da budu glasni u traženju svojih prava i da budu aktivni sudionici u kreiranju vlastite budućnosti. Naglasio je da Hrvatska ima potencijal postati razvijena zemlja poput drugih europskih, te da nema razloga da hrvatski krajevi ne bude uspješni kao što su to neke regije u Austriji. U tom je kontekstu pozvao građane na jedinstvo i suradnju kako bi ostvarili zajednički cilj - prosperitetnu i naprednu Hrvatsku.

Predsjednik je u pratnji načelnika Općine Promina Tihomira Budanka obišao Spomen sobu u zgradi Općine, razgovarao s obiteljima žrtava Domovinskog rata te se upisao u knjigu žalosti.

Predsjednik Republike Zoran Milanović rekao je u Oklaju u općini Promina, na obilježavanju spomendana na poginule u Domovinskom ratu, kako od političkih predstavnika građana srpske nacionalnosti očekuje da dođu u Oklaj, izraze žaljenje zbog krvoprolića te da se više ne smije ponoviti.

"Ljudi su ubijeni iz pakosti i bijesa zbog jedne uspješne operacije Hrvatske vojske u kojoj nije stradao niti jedan civil. Pod zaštitom UNPROFOR-a su bili ti ljudi, oni nisu mogli ništa i to je jedan akt zloće. Ljudi su se osjećali sigurnima i mogli su otići svojim obiteljima. Htjeli su ovdje dočekati starost", rekao je Milanović na obilježavanju spomendana na poginule branitelje i civile prominskog kraja u Domovinskom ratu i 140. obljetnice osnutka Općine koja je u Domovinskom ratu izgubila 23 branitelja, uz čak 49 civilnih žrtava. Uglavnom je bila riječ o starijim ljudima koji su tijekom velikosrpske okupacije ostali u svojim kućama.

Predsjednik je izrazio duboko poštovanje prema žrtvama u Promini tijekom Domovinskog rata, podsjetivši da takve tragedije ne smiju postati dio rutine, već moraju ostati trajna opomena o posljedicama nasilja, zločina i netolerancije.

Naglasio je i važnost sjećanja na žrtve, bez obzira na njihovu nacionalnost, te je podsjetio da kao hrvatski Predsjednik redovito posjećuje i poštuje stratišta srpskog naroda, uključujući i Jasenovac. Zapitao se zašto opet nitko od predstavnika SDSS-a nije došao odati počast žrtvama hrvatskog naroda u prominskom kraju.
