Šibenik se može dičiti svojim srednjoškolskim obrazovnim sustavom koji je ustrojen prije negoli u brojnim drugim gradovima. Prva srednjoškolska ustanova u Šibeniku bila je Realna gimnazija.
Godine 1977. zabilježili smo slavlje 60. godišnjice mature njene prve generacije iz 1917. u osvit Prvog svjetskog rata
Nakon Drugog svjetskog rata, pak, iz iste je škole 1952. potekla prva mirnodopska generacija maturanata.
Među maturantima iz 1917. bili su poznati Šibenčani, dr. Trlaja, dr. Novak, biskup šibenski Rudolf Piani, također šibenski đak, Stjepan Stipe Čelar, naš stric. U to vrijeme bio je u Zagrebu direktor Agencije za autorska prava. Znatan dio njih nastavio je kasnije studije u Zagrebu, Pragu, Beču, Padovi.
Među slavljenicima iz 1917. bio je i Đorđe Miliša (desno pri vrhu na lijevoj strani fotografije), preživjeli iz ustaškog logora Jasenovac, koji je o tom logoru smrti objavio potresnu knjigu "Jasenovac". S njim smo tada napravili poseban razgovor o tome kako je preživio. Ostavljao je snažan dojam.
Prijateljstvo i predanost
Kako je u takvim prilikama uobičajeno, "momci" iz 1917., ratne godine Prvog svjetskog rata, okupili su se u razredu Gimnazije na prozivci iz razrednog kataloga njihove godine mature, koji je sačuvan. Ondje ih je pozdravio direktor Gimnazije, prof. Ivo Livaković, ranije i sam đak te škole.
Veći dio njih susreo se prvi put otkako su napustili srednju školu. Neki su održali i dirljive govore prijateljstva i predanosti svojoj školi i gradu u kome su stasali. Među njima i biskup Piani.
Ostalo im je obaviti još nešto. Spustiti se u grad do stare zgrade u kojoj je u njihovo vrijeme Gimnazija započela s radom. Nova impozantna zgrada šibenske realke na Šubićevcu sagrađena je tek 1931. godine.
A s generacijom iz 1952., ona prva ima veze utoliko, što je to bila prva šibenska generacija u miru, nakon Velikog rata 1941. – 1945. godine.
Autor ovog mementa, sa 14 svojih kolega, od 40 živih (od nekadašnjih 80 koliko nas je završilo Gimnaziju), godine 2022. obilježio je tada svojih 70 godina od "ispita zrelosti" iste gimnazije.
A u generaciji maturanata iz 1917. Stjepan Čelar bio je naš stric. Tako je htio usud!

Šibenik se može dičiti svojim srednjoškolskim obrazovnim sustavom koji je ustrojen prije negoli u brojnim drugim gradovima. Prva srednjoškolska ustanova u Šibeniku bila je Realna gimnazija.
Godine 1977. zabilježili smo slavlje 60. godišnjice mature njene prve generacije iz 1917. u osvit Prvog svjetskog rata
Nakon Drugog svjetskog rata, pak, iz iste je škole 1952. potekla prva mirnodopska generacija maturanata.
Među maturantima iz 1917. bili su poznati Šibenčani, dr. Trlaja, dr. Novak, biskup šibenski Rudolf Piani, također šibenski đak, Stjepan Stipe Čelar, naš stric. U to vrijeme bio je u Zagrebu direktor Agencije za autorska prava. Znatan dio njih nastavio je kasnije studije u Zagrebu, Pragu, Beču, Padovi.
Među slavljenicima iz 1917. bio je i Đorđe Miliša (desno pri vrhu na lijevoj strani fotografije), preživjeli iz ustaškog logora Jasenovac, koji je o tom logoru smrti objavio potresnu knjigu "Jasenovac". S njim smo tada napravili poseban razgovor o tome kako je preživio. Ostavljao je snažan dojam.
Prijateljstvo i predanost
Kako je u takvim prilikama uobičajeno, "momci" iz 1917., ratne godine Prvog svjetskog rata, okupili su se u razredu Gimnazije na prozivci iz razrednog kataloga njihove godine mature, koji je sačuvan. Ondje ih je pozdravio direktor Gimnazije, prof. Ivo Livaković, ranije i sam đak te škole.
Veći dio njih susreo se prvi put otkako su napustili srednju školu. Neki su održali i dirljive govore prijateljstva i predanosti svojoj školi i gradu u kome su stasali. Među njima i biskup Piani.
Ostalo im je obaviti još nešto. Spustiti se u grad do stare zgrade u kojoj je u njihovo vrijeme Gimnazija započela s radom. Nova impozantna zgrada šibenske realke na Šubićevcu sagrađena je tek 1931. godine.
A s generacijom iz 1952., ona prva ima veze utoliko, što je to bila prva šibenska generacija u miru, nakon Velikog rata 1941. – 1945. godine.
Autor ovog mementa, sa 14 svojih kolega, od 40 živih (od nekadašnjih 80 koliko nas je završilo Gimnaziju), godine 2022. obilježio je tada svojih 70 godina od "ispita zrelosti" iste gimnazije.
A u generaciji maturanata iz 1917. Stjepan Čelar bio je naš stric. Tako je htio usud!
