Niske vremenske temperature i slaba zaštićenost vodomjernih mjesta, šahtova, u mnogim slučajevima prouzrokuju pojavu pucanja stakla vodomjera, a često i oštećenje kompletnogavodomjera. Zato su iz šibenskog Vodovoda pozvali građane da zaštite svoja 'mjerila' od smrzavanja tako što će se vodomjer i otkrivene cijevi obložiti odgovarajućim termo - izolacijskim materijalom - stiroporom, staklenom vunom i sl. Ako već takvog nema pri ruci, može se nadomjestiti i starim dekama i sličnim priručnim izolatorima. Sve vodovodne cijevi koje se nalaze na otvorenom neophodno je isprazniti, i ukoliko je ikako moguće, zatvoriti otvoreni prostor u kojem su smještene vodovodne instalacije. U pravilu, voda se ledi u najplićim i nezaštićenim dijelovima instalacije kao i negrijanim dijelovima zgrada. Ovaj trošak je puno manji od onog koji nastaje zbog puknuća cijevi nakon što se voda zaledi – napominju iz Vodovoda i odvodnje. Stručnjaci također
korisnicima koji primjete da su ostali bez vode savjetuju da prvo provjere stanje instalacija u vodomjernom oknu, te pokušaju okrenuti ventil ali nikako na silu. 'Ventil koji nije moguće okrenuti upućuje da je voda u instalacijama u vodomjernom oknu zaleđena. Najbrže će se odlediti pomoću isparavanja tople vode u zatvorenom oknu sa spuštenim poklopcem. Zamrznute instalacije nikako se ne smiju odleđivati direktnim polijevanjem tople vode preko njih, niti
korištenjem otvorenog plamena. Za ponovnu uspostavu vodoopskrbe potrebno je pronaći odnosno pregledati svaki dio instalacije. 'Posebno upozorenje namijenjeno je dijelu potrošača u Tribunju koji su zbog radova spojeni privremenim vodovima na vodoopskrbnu mrežu. Savjetuje im se da u slučaju niskih temperatura osiguraju lagano izlijevanje(kapanje) na česmama.

Niske vremenske temperature i slaba zaštićenost vodomjernih mjesta, šahtova, u mnogim slučajevima prouzrokuju pojavu pucanja stakla vodomjera, a često i oštećenje kompletnogavodomjera. Zato su iz šibenskog Vodovoda pozvali građane da zaštite svoja 'mjerila' od smrzavanja tako što će se vodomjer i otkrivene cijevi obložiti odgovarajućim termo - izolacijskim materijalom - stiroporom, staklenom vunom i sl. Ako već takvog nema pri ruci, može se nadomjestiti i starim dekama i sličnim priručnim izolatorima. Sve vodovodne cijevi koje se nalaze na otvorenom neophodno je isprazniti, i ukoliko je ikako moguće, zatvoriti otvoreni prostor u kojem su smještene vodovodne instalacije. U pravilu, voda se ledi u najplićim i nezaštićenim dijelovima instalacije kao i negrijanim dijelovima zgrada. Ovaj trošak je puno manji od onog koji nastaje zbog puknuća cijevi nakon što se voda zaledi – napominju iz Vodovoda i odvodnje. Stručnjaci također
korisnicima koji primjete da su ostali bez vode savjetuju da prvo provjere stanje instalacija u vodomjernom oknu, te pokušaju okrenuti ventil ali nikako na silu. 'Ventil koji nije moguće okrenuti upućuje da je voda u instalacijama u vodomjernom oknu zaleđena. Najbrže će se odlediti pomoću isparavanja tople vode u zatvorenom oknu sa spuštenim poklopcem. Zamrznute instalacije nikako se ne smiju odleđivati direktnim polijevanjem tople vode preko njih, niti
korištenjem otvorenog plamena. Za ponovnu uspostavu vodoopskrbe potrebno je pronaći odnosno pregledati svaki dio instalacije. 'Posebno upozorenje namijenjeno je dijelu potrošača u Tribunju koji su zbog radova spojeni privremenim vodovima na vodoopskrbnu mrežu. Savjetuje im se da u slučaju niskih temperatura osiguraju lagano izlijevanje(kapanje) na česmama.
