U Hrvatskoj vatrogasnoj zajednici sve je više žena - 25 %! U Šibensko-kninskoj županiji ih je - 8 posto! A u šibenskoj javnoj vatrogasnoj postrojbi - Nina Dukić jedina je djevojka među 60-ak kolega.
Nina Dukić prva je profesionalna vatrogaskinja u povijesti šibenskog vatrogastva, ali i u Dalmaciji!
- Znam da je bila prije mene jedna cura u Zagrebu, a ja sam tu u Šibeniku, rekla je Nina Dukić, vatrogaskinja JVP Šibenik za HRT.
Matičnom zatonskom DVD-u pridružila se 2006.. Budući da je iz mjesta poznatog po vatrogasnoj tradiciji, odabir profesije ne iznenađuje!
- Počevši od djeda, oca, to je sve u obitelji. Ja smatram da svaka kuća koja je u Zatonu prošla je kroz DVD, nastavlja Dukić.
Iako su svi vatrogasni zapovjednici u Šibeniku Zatonjani, imala je težak put do primanja u službu!
- Jako težak put, jer četiri puta sam se ja prijavljivala na natječaj, dodaje Dukić.
- Mi smo na našim natječajima u ovoj postrojbi dosad imali dvije žene. Ninu smo primili nakon trećeg ili četvrtog pokušaja. Dakle, mi imamo jedan sistem koji koristimo kod prijema i za muškarce i za žene, priča Volimir Milošević, zapovjednik JVP-a Šibenik.
Nakon zahtjevnog testiranja, bila je spremna za vatreno krštenje - u pravom smislu te riječi.
Njezinim kolegama u početku je bilo neobično vidjeti je u borbi s vatrom!
- Kako imamo kacige, imaš one potkape ja kažem hajde, brže mali, poteži ovu cijevnu prugu! Kad odjednom put lakirani nokti. Ja kažem što je ovo, ljudi moji!? Pogledam - ono žensko!, objašnjava Goran Bušac, vatrogasac JVP Šibenik.
Zatonsko područje vrvi vatrogascima, ali i požarima! Upravo je onaj prije dva ljeta za Ninu bio - najteže iskustvo.
- Tu je tribala glava ostati pribrana, jer bile su ugrožene kuće, tu su obitelji. Drukčije je to i drukčije je na nekom drugom terenu koji je tebi nepoznat, dodaje Bušac.
Sa šumskim požarima bori se već više od 10 godina.
- Nisam se nikad našla pred tako velikom temperaturom. To je bio najveći izazov moj, zapravo. Kako kažu, navikne se čovik!, zaključuje Bušac.
Jer vatrogastvo za Ninu nije posao, nego način života!

U Hrvatskoj vatrogasnoj zajednici sve je više žena - 25 %! U Šibensko-kninskoj županiji ih je - 8 posto! A u šibenskoj javnoj vatrogasnoj postrojbi - Nina Dukić jedina je djevojka među 60-ak kolega.
Nina Dukić prva je profesionalna vatrogaskinja u povijesti šibenskog vatrogastva, ali i u Dalmaciji!
- Znam da je bila prije mene jedna cura u Zagrebu, a ja sam tu u Šibeniku, rekla je Nina Dukić, vatrogaskinja JVP Šibenik za HRT.
Matičnom zatonskom DVD-u pridružila se 2006.. Budući da je iz mjesta poznatog po vatrogasnoj tradiciji, odabir profesije ne iznenađuje!
- Počevši od djeda, oca, to je sve u obitelji. Ja smatram da svaka kuća koja je u Zatonu prošla je kroz DVD, nastavlja Dukić.
Iako su svi vatrogasni zapovjednici u Šibeniku Zatonjani, imala je težak put do primanja u službu!
- Jako težak put, jer četiri puta sam se ja prijavljivala na natječaj, dodaje Dukić.
- Mi smo na našim natječajima u ovoj postrojbi dosad imali dvije žene. Ninu smo primili nakon trećeg ili četvrtog pokušaja. Dakle, mi imamo jedan sistem koji koristimo kod prijema i za muškarce i za žene, priča Volimir Milošević, zapovjednik JVP-a Šibenik.
Nakon zahtjevnog testiranja, bila je spremna za vatreno krštenje - u pravom smislu te riječi.
Njezinim kolegama u početku je bilo neobično vidjeti je u borbi s vatrom!
- Kako imamo kacige, imaš one potkape ja kažem hajde, brže mali, poteži ovu cijevnu prugu! Kad odjednom put lakirani nokti. Ja kažem što je ovo, ljudi moji!? Pogledam - ono žensko!, objašnjava Goran Bušac, vatrogasac JVP Šibenik.
Zatonsko područje vrvi vatrogascima, ali i požarima! Upravo je onaj prije dva ljeta za Ninu bio - najteže iskustvo.
- Tu je tribala glava ostati pribrana, jer bile su ugrožene kuće, tu su obitelji. Drukčije je to i drukčije je na nekom drugom terenu koji je tebi nepoznat, dodaje Bušac.
Sa šumskim požarima bori se već više od 10 godina.
- Nisam se nikad našla pred tako velikom temperaturom. To je bio najveći izazov moj, zapravo. Kako kažu, navikne se čovik!, zaključuje Bušac.
Jer vatrogastvo za Ninu nije posao, nego način života!
