U dubrovačkoj katedrali u subotu 22. siječnja biti će zaređen novi dubrovački biskup mons Roko Glasnović. Unatoč epidemiološkim mjerama u Dubrovniku se očekuje veliki broj biskupa i nadbiskupa, vjernika kao i drugih crkvenih i svjetovnih uglednika.

Zaredatelji novog biskupa biti će mons. Petar Palić, biskup mostarsko-duvanjski i apostolski upravitelj trebinjsko-mrkanjski, u zajedništvu s mons. Matom Uzinićem, nadbiskupom koadjutorom riječkim i mons. Tomislavom Rogićem, biskupom šibenskim.

Prezbiteri pratitelji imenovanog biskupa bit će: biskupov brat don Franjo Glasnović, župnik župe Našašća sv. Križa, Vodice i don Marijan Kosić, župnik župe sv. Marije Velike, Cres.

-Kada sam čuo da me papa Franjo imenovao novim dubrovačkim biskupom to me je iznenadilo i pobudilo brojna pitanja koja tada nisam mogao s drugima podijeliti nego prebirati u svom srcu i molitvi, vjerujući da Bog koji nas je stvorio zna i što će s nama. Osjećao sam se, i osjećam se, mlad, nepripremljen, nedostojan. A opet neki moji prethodnici na katedri dubrovačkih biskupa bili su približno mojih godina kada su imenovani za biskupe – kazao je novoimenovani biskup mons.

Na pitanje što vjernici mogu očekivati od njega kaže:
-Od mene mogu očekivati da se srcem i dušom stavim na raspolaganje dubrovačkoj Crkvi i svim ljudima. U ovoj godini obitelji Obitelj – radost ljubavi, pozvani smo živjeti radost ljubavi ponajprije u obitelji. Osim toga, papa Franjo nas ohrabruje živjeti zajedništvo, sudjelovanje i poslanje svih vjernika u Sinodalnom hodu u našoj mjesnoj, ali i sveopćoj Crkvi. Pozvani smo biti otvoreni jedni prema drugima, uključivi, a ne isključivi, slušati jedni druge i svima činiti dobro kako bi svima bilo bolje u svakom pogledu, ponajviše u duhovnom.Svjestan slabosti i nedostataka mističnoga tijela Crkve, papa Benedikt XVI. je rekao da je Crkva lađa koja pušta na mnogo strana. Međutim, unatoč mnogim problemima, duboko vjerujem da Bog neće dopustiti da potone, jer je on onaj koji ju je osnovao, utemeljio na temeljima apostola, a Duh Sveti je vodi. Svatko tko je u toj lađi, Kristu je važan, a i nama, i doista je važno kako se tko u njoj osjeća. Svi mi Vlahovi ljudi pazimo na malene i siromašne kako bismo ostvarili svoj život poput sv. Vlaha. Neka nam ništa ne bude važnije od Krista – zaključuje novoimenovani biskup.

Podsjetimo, novi dubrovački biskup Roko Glasnović rođen je 2. srpnja 1978. godine u Šibeniku. Za đakona je zaređen 5. prosinca 2004., a za svećenika 2. srpnja 2005. u Šibeniku. Na Papinskom lateranskom sveučilištu u Rimu 2008. magistrirao je iz pastoralne teologije. U Šibenskoj biskupiji obnašao je nekoliko službi. Među ostalim, bio je osobni biskupov tajnik, biskupijski ekonom te član biskupijskog svećeničkog vijeća i biskupijskog zbora savjetnika. Također je član Vijeća Hrvatske biskupske konferencije za život i obitelj.

U dubrovačkoj katedrali u subotu 22. siječnja biti će zaređen novi dubrovački biskup mons Roko Glasnović. Unatoč epidemiološkim mjerama u Dubrovniku se očekuje veliki broj biskupa i nadbiskupa, vjernika kao i drugih crkvenih i svjetovnih uglednika.

Zaredatelji novog biskupa biti će mons. Petar Palić, biskup mostarsko-duvanjski i apostolski upravitelj trebinjsko-mrkanjski, u zajedništvu s mons. Matom Uzinićem, nadbiskupom koadjutorom riječkim i mons. Tomislavom Rogićem, biskupom šibenskim.

Prezbiteri pratitelji imenovanog biskupa bit će: biskupov brat don Franjo Glasnović, župnik župe Našašća sv. Križa, Vodice i don Marijan Kosić, župnik župe sv. Marije Velike, Cres.

-Kada sam čuo da me papa Franjo imenovao novim dubrovačkim biskupom to me je iznenadilo i pobudilo brojna pitanja koja tada nisam mogao s drugima podijeliti nego prebirati u svom srcu i molitvi, vjerujući da Bog koji nas je stvorio zna i što će s nama. Osjećao sam se, i osjećam se, mlad, nepripremljen, nedostojan. A opet neki moji prethodnici na katedri dubrovačkih biskupa bili su približno mojih godina kada su imenovani za biskupe – kazao je novoimenovani biskup mons.

Na pitanje što vjernici mogu očekivati od njega kaže:
-Od mene mogu očekivati da se srcem i dušom stavim na raspolaganje dubrovačkoj Crkvi i svim ljudima. U ovoj godini obitelji Obitelj – radost ljubavi, pozvani smo živjeti radost ljubavi ponajprije u obitelji. Osim toga, papa Franjo nas ohrabruje živjeti zajedništvo, sudjelovanje i poslanje svih vjernika u Sinodalnom hodu u našoj mjesnoj, ali i sveopćoj Crkvi. Pozvani smo biti otvoreni jedni prema drugima, uključivi, a ne isključivi, slušati jedni druge i svima činiti dobro kako bi svima bilo bolje u svakom pogledu, ponajviše u duhovnom.Svjestan slabosti i nedostataka mističnoga tijela Crkve, papa Benedikt XVI. je rekao da je Crkva lađa koja pušta na mnogo strana. Međutim, unatoč mnogim problemima, duboko vjerujem da Bog neće dopustiti da potone, jer je on onaj koji ju je osnovao, utemeljio na temeljima apostola, a Duh Sveti je vodi. Svatko tko je u toj lađi, Kristu je važan, a i nama, i doista je važno kako se tko u njoj osjeća. Svi mi Vlahovi ljudi pazimo na malene i siromašne kako bismo ostvarili svoj život poput sv. Vlaha. Neka nam ništa ne bude važnije od Krista – zaključuje novoimenovani biskup.

Podsjetimo, novi dubrovački biskup Roko Glasnović rođen je 2. srpnja 1978. godine u Šibeniku. Za đakona je zaređen 5. prosinca 2004., a za svećenika 2. srpnja 2005. u Šibeniku. Na Papinskom lateranskom sveučilištu u Rimu 2008. magistrirao je iz pastoralne teologije. U Šibenskoj biskupiji obnašao je nekoliko službi. Među ostalim, bio je osobni biskupov tajnik, biskupijski ekonom te član biskupijskog svećeničkog vijeća i biskupijskog zbora savjetnika. Također je član Vijeća Hrvatske biskupske konferencije za život i obitelj.

U dubrovačkoj katedrali u subotu 22. siječnja biti će zaređen novi dubrovački biskup mons Roko Glasnović. Unatoč epidemiološkim mjerama u Dubrovniku se očekuje veliki broj biskupa i nadbiskupa, vjernika kao i drugih crkvenih i svjetovnih uglednika.

Zaredatelji novog biskupa biti će mons. Petar Palić, biskup mostarsko-duvanjski i apostolski upravitelj trebinjsko-mrkanjski, u zajedništvu s mons. Matom Uzinićem, nadbiskupom koadjutorom riječkim i mons. Tomislavom Rogićem, biskupom šibenskim.

Prezbiteri pratitelji imenovanog biskupa bit će: biskupov brat don Franjo Glasnović, župnik župe Našašća sv. Križa, Vodice i don Marijan Kosić, župnik župe sv. Marije Velike, Cres.

-Kada sam čuo da me papa Franjo imenovao novim dubrovačkim biskupom to me je iznenadilo i pobudilo brojna pitanja koja tada nisam mogao s drugima podijeliti nego prebirati u svom srcu i molitvi, vjerujući da Bog koji nas je stvorio zna i što će s nama. Osjećao sam se, i osjećam se, mlad, nepripremljen, nedostojan. A opet neki moji prethodnici na katedri dubrovačkih biskupa bili su približno mojih godina kada su imenovani za biskupe – kazao je novoimenovani biskup mons.

Na pitanje što vjernici mogu očekivati od njega kaže:
-Od mene mogu očekivati da se srcem i dušom stavim na raspolaganje dubrovačkoj Crkvi i svim ljudima. U ovoj godini obitelji Obitelj – radost ljubavi, pozvani smo živjeti radost ljubavi ponajprije u obitelji. Osim toga, papa Franjo nas ohrabruje živjeti zajedništvo, sudjelovanje i poslanje svih vjernika u Sinodalnom hodu u našoj mjesnoj, ali i sveopćoj Crkvi.
