Odustajanjem Australije od kandidature za domaćina Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva 2034., Saudijska Arabija je ostala jedini kandidat, a predsjednik tamošnjeg nogometnog saveza tvrdi da je turnir moguće organizirati i u ljetnom terminu, a ne samo u zimskom, kao što je to bio slučaj 2022. kad je domaćin bio Katar.

"Mnogo je novih tehnoloija koje omogućavaju hlađenje, moguća je i ugradnja dodatnih klima-uređaja na stadione, a mnogo je gradova u kraljevstvu koji tijekom ljeta imaju vrlo ugodnu klimu. Spremni smo za sve mogućnosti", istaknuo je u čelnik Sudijskog nogometnog saveza Yasser Al-Misehal u izjavi za AFP, koju je dao tijekom dodjele nagrada Azijske nogometne konfederacije na svečanosti održanoj u utorak u Dohi.

Istog dana je istekao rok koji je Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) odredila za predaju kandidature za domaćina Svjetskog prvenstva 2034. Saudijska Arabija je ostala jedini kandidat pa je prilično izvjesno da će i dobiti domaćinstvo, o čemu će vodstvo krovne nogometne organizacije odlučivati krajem 2024.

Prema Yasseru Al-Misehalu, Saudijska Arabija će biti prva država koja će samstalno organizirati turnir s 48 reprezentacija, jer neće tražiti partnere u drugim državama.

Prvo Svjetsko prvenstvo na kojem će sudjelovati 48 reprezentacija zajednički će 2026. organizirati Sjedinjene Američke Države, Kanada i Meksiko, dok će četiri godine poslije domaćini biti Španjolska, Portugal i Maroko, s time da će po jedna utakmica biti odigrana u Argentini, Urugvaju i Paragvaju, u sklopu obilježavanja stogodišnjice odigravanja prvog Svjetskog prvenstva koje je 1930. održano u Montevideu.

Odustajanjem Australije od kandidature za domaćina Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva 2034., Saudijska Arabija je ostala jedini kandidat, a predsjednik tamošnjeg nogometnog saveza tvrdi da je turnir moguće organizirati i u ljetnom terminu, a ne samo u zimskom, kao što je to bio slučaj 2022. kad je domaćin bio Katar.

"Mnogo je novih tehnoloija koje omogućavaju hlađenje, moguća je i ugradnja dodatnih klima-uređaja na stadione, a mnogo je gradova u kraljevstvu koji tijekom ljeta imaju vrlo ugodnu klimu. Spremni smo za sve mogućnosti", istaknuo je u čelnik Sudijskog nogometnog saveza Yasser Al-Misehal u izjavi za AFP, koju je dao tijekom dodjele nagrada Azijske nogometne konfederacije na svečanosti održanoj u utorak u Dohi.

Istog dana je istekao rok koji je Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) odredila za predaju kandidature za domaćina Svjetskog prvenstva 2034. Saudijska Arabija je ostala jedini kandidat pa je prilično izvjesno da će i dobiti domaćinstvo, o čemu će vodstvo krovne nogometne organizacije odlučivati krajem 2024.

Prema Yasseru Al-Misehalu, Saudijska Arabija će biti prva država koja će samstalno organizirati turnir s 48 reprezentacija, jer neće tražiti partnere u drugim državama.

Prvo Svjetsko prvenstvo na kojem će sudjelovati 48 reprezentacija zajednički će 2026. organizirati Sjedinjene Američke Države, Kanada i Meksiko, dok će četiri godine poslije domaćini biti Španjolska, Portugal i Maroko, s time da će po jedna utakmica biti odigrana u Argentini, Urugvaju i Paragvaju, u sklopu obilježavanja stogodišnjice odigravanja prvog Svjetskog prvenstva koje je 1930. održano u Montevideu.

Odustajanjem Australije od kandidature za domaćina Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva 2034., Saudijska Arabija je ostala jedini kandidat, a predsjednik tamošnjeg nogometnog saveza tvrdi da je turnir moguće organizirati i u ljetnom terminu, a ne samo u zimskom, kao što je to bio slučaj 2022. kad je domaćin bio Katar.

"Mnogo je novih tehnoloija koje omogućavaju hlađenje, moguća je i ugradnja dodatnih klima-uređaja na stadione, a mnogo je gradova u kraljevstvu koji tijekom ljeta imaju vrlo ugodnu klimu. Spremni smo za sve mogućnosti", istaknuo je u čelnik Sudijskog nogometnog saveza Yasser Al-Misehal u izjavi za AFP, koju je dao tijekom dodjele nagrada Azijske nogometne konfederacije na svečanosti održanoj u utorak u Dohi.

Istog dana je istekao rok koji je Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) odredila za predaju kandidature za domaćina Svjetskog prvenstva 2034. Saudijska Arabija je ostala jedini kandidat pa je prilično izvjesno da će i dobiti domaćinstvo, o čemu će vodstvo krovne nogometne organizacije odlučivati krajem 2024.

Prema Yasseru Al-Misehalu, Saudijska Arabija će biti prva država koja će samstalno organizirati turnir s 48 reprezentacija, jer neće tražiti partnere u drugim državama.

Prvo Svjetsko prvenstvo na kojem će sudjelovati 48 reprezentacija zajednički će 2026. organizirati Sjedinjene Američke Države, Kanada i Meksiko, dok će četiri godine poslije domaćini biti Španjolska, Portugal i Maroko, s time da će po jedna utakmica biti odigrana u Argentini, Urugvaju i Paragvaju, u sklopu obilježavanja stogodišnjice odigravanja prvog Svjetskog prvenstva koje je 1930. održano u Montevideu.
