Čini se da će uspjeh koji je Ferrari ostvario s novim modelom FF (cjelokupna godišnja proizvodnja od 800 primjeraka odavno je rasprodana) imati utjecaja i na model 599 GTB Fiorano.

Naime, potaknuti spomenutim uspjehom Ferrarija FF, u Maranellu su izgleda odlučili ne raditi “face-lifting” modela 599, nego će ga zamijeniti potpuno novim automobilom koji bi trebao biti zasnovan na modelu FF. Novi Ferrari trebao bi biti još snažniji od modela FF i navodno bi njegov 6.3-litreni V12 motor, uz pomoć izravnog ubrizgavanja goriva, razvijao okruglih 700 “konja”.

Ferrari će se pri izradi novog modela vjerojatno i dalje primarno držati aluminija, iako su konkurenti (Lamborghini i McLaren) već prešli na obilnu upotrebu karbonskih vlakana. Iako će biti izvedenica iz modela FF, novi Ferrari 599 neće imati pogon na sve kotače, ali očekuje se da bi od 2013. godine ta opcija mogla biti dostupna kod modela California.

Čini se da će uspjeh koji je Ferrari ostvario s novim modelom FF (cjelokupna godišnja proizvodnja od 800 primjeraka odavno je rasprodana) imati utjecaja i na model 599 GTB Fiorano.

Naime, potaknuti spomenutim uspjehom Ferrarija FF, u Maranellu su izgleda odlučili ne raditi “face-lifting” modela 599, nego će ga zamijeniti potpuno novim automobilom koji bi trebao biti zasnovan na modelu FF. Novi Ferrari trebao bi biti još snažniji od modela FF i navodno bi njegov 6.3-litreni V12 motor, uz pomoć izravnog ubrizgavanja goriva, razvijao okruglih 700 “konja”.

Ferrari će se pri izradi novog modela vjerojatno i dalje primarno držati aluminija, iako su konkurenti (Lamborghini i McLaren) već prešli na obilnu upotrebu karbonskih vlakana. Iako će biti izvedenica iz modela FF, novi Ferrari 599 neće imati pogon na sve kotače, ali očekuje se da bi od 2013. godine ta opcija mogla biti dostupna kod modela California.
