Nakon uključene funkcije pokreću se senzori koji uz pomoć kojih se robotske noge stavljaju u pogon. Korisnik ove naprave pokretima gornjega dijela tijela može upravljati kretanjem. Bivši izraelski padobranac Radi Kaiof (na slici) paraliziran je već dvadeset godina zbog ozljede koju je imao za služenja izraelske vojske. Kaže kako mu je uređaj promijenio život. "Nisam ni sanjao da ću ikada opet prohodati.
Nakon što sam se ozlijedio skroz sam zaboravio što hodanje predstavlja. Jedino kad stojim uspravno mogu osjetiti koliko sam stvarno visok i govoriti ljudima licem u lice, ne odozdo." Uređaj, koji je sada na kliničkoj probi u telavivskom Medicinskom centru Sheba, zamisao je inženjera Amita Goffera, osnivača Agro Medical Technologiesa, male izraelske high-tech tvrtke.
Goffera je vlastita paraliziranost inspirirala na traženje drugog rješenja za pokretnost umjesto invalidskih kolica. Naprava je zaintrigirala i američke liječnike koji smatraju da može pomoći mnogima, ali i to da je za korištenje ReWalka potrebno dobro stanje gornjega dijela tijela, kao i odgovarajuća tjelesna kondicija.

Nakon uključene funkcije pokreću se senzori koji uz pomoć kojih se robotske noge stavljaju u pogon. Korisnik ove naprave pokretima gornjega dijela tijela može upravljati kretanjem. Bivši izraelski padobranac Radi Kaiof (na slici) paraliziran je već dvadeset godina zbog ozljede koju je imao za služenja izraelske vojske. Kaže kako mu je uređaj promijenio život. Nakon što sam se ozlijedio skroz sam zaboravio što hodanje predstavlja. Jedino kad stojim uspravno mogu osjetiti koliko sam stvarno visok i govoriti ljudima licem u lice, ne odozdo." Uređaj, koji je sada na kliničkoj probi u telavivskom Medicinskom centru Sheba, zamisao je inženjera Amita Goffera, osnivača Agro Medical Technologiesa, male izraelske high-tech tvrtke.
Goffera je vlastita paraliziranost inspirirala na traženje drugog rješenja za pokretnost umjesto invalidskih kolica. Naprava je zaintrigirala i američke liječnike koji smatraju da može pomoći mnogima, ali i to da je za korištenje ReWalka potrebno dobro stanje gornjega dijela tijela, kao i odgovarajuća tjelesna kondicija.
