Više od pola milijarde tona robe prošlo je u fiskalnoj 2021. godini kroz Panamski kanal, najviše otkada je ključni svjetski plovni put počeo primati brodove, izvijestio je čelnik uprave. 

U 12-mjesečnom razdoblju zaključno s rujnom kroz Panamski je kanal prošlo 516,7 milijuna tona robe, rekao je direktor agencije za upravljanje kanalom Ricaurte Vasquez, za 8,7 posto više nego u prethodnoj fiskalnoj godini.

"Bila je to iznimna godina", rekao je Vasquez, istaknuvši da je kanal prvi puta premašio brojku od 500 milijuna tona.

Kroz 80 kilometara dug kanal koji povezuje Atlantski i Tihi ocean prošlo je u 12 mjeseci do kraja rujna oko 3,5 posto svjetske pomorske trgovine, u kojoj dominiraju žitarice i naftni derivati.

Vasquez je objasnio da su za rekord zaslužni veći brodovi koji prevoze više kontejnera i nagli rast obujma prijevoza ukapljenog prirodnog plina (LNG) u Aziju.

Fiskalna 2022. godina koja je počela u listopadu trebala bi donijeti novi rekord, dodao je, procijenivši da bi do kraja rujna iduće godine kroz kanal trebalo proći oko 535 milijuna tona robe.

Više od pola milijarde tona robe prošlo je u fiskalnoj 2021. godini kroz Panamski kanal, najviše otkada je ključni svjetski plovni put počeo primati brodove, izvijestio je čelnik uprave. 

U 12-mjesečnom razdoblju zaključno s rujnom kroz Panamski je kanal prošlo 516,7 milijuna tona robe, rekao je direktor agencije za upravljanje kanalom Ricaurte Vasquez, za 8,7 posto više nego u prethodnoj fiskalnoj godini.

"Bila je to iznimna godina", rekao je Vasquez, istaknuvši da je kanal prvi puta premašio brojku od 500 milijuna tona.

Kroz 80 kilometara dug kanal koji povezuje Atlantski i Tihi ocean prošlo je u 12 mjeseci do kraja rujna oko 3,5 posto svjetske pomorske trgovine, u kojoj dominiraju žitarice i naftni derivati.

Vasquez je objasnio da su za rekord zaslužni veći brodovi koji prevoze više kontejnera i nagli rast obujma prijevoza ukapljenog prirodnog plina (LNG) u Aziju.

Fiskalna 2022. godina koja je počela u listopadu trebala bi donijeti novi rekord, dodao je, procijenivši da bi do kraja rujna iduće godine kroz kanal trebalo proći oko 535 milijuna tona robe.

Više od pola milijarde tona robe prošlo je u fiskalnoj 2021. godini kroz Panamski kanal, najviše otkada je ključni svjetski plovni put počeo primati brodove, izvijestio je čelnik uprave. 

U 12-mjesečnom razdoblju zaključno s rujnom kroz Panamski je kanal prošlo 516,7 milijuna tona robe, rekao je direktor agencije za upravljanje kanalom Ricaurte Vasquez, za 8,7 posto više nego u prethodnoj fiskalnoj godini.

"Bila je to iznimna godina", rekao je Vasquez, istaknuvši da je kanal prvi puta premašio brojku od 500 milijuna tona.

Kroz 80 kilometara dug kanal koji povezuje Atlantski i Tihi ocean prošlo je u 12 mjeseci do kraja rujna oko 3,5 posto svjetske pomorske trgovine, u kojoj dominiraju žitarice i naftni derivati.

Vasquez je objasnio da su za rekord zaslužni veći brodovi koji prevoze više kontejnera i nagli rast obujma prijevoza ukapljenog prirodnog plina (LNG) u Aziju.

Fiskalna 2022. godina koja je počela u listopadu trebala bi donijeti novi rekord, dodao je, procijenivši da bi do kraja rujna iduće godine kroz kanal trebalo proći oko 535 milijuna tona robe.
