Nakon što je početkom srpnja zasluženo umirovljen, a poslije čega mu se neko vrijeme sudbina nije ni znala, legendarni motorni brod Tijat od početka je listopada u vlasništvu Šibensko-kninske županije. Ona ga je od Jadrolinije kupila za 35 tisuća eura s namjerom da ga pretvori u brod muzej koji će i dalje ploviti do šibenskih otoka te Šibenčane i njegove goste prevoziti do Posjetiteljskih centara i inih otočnih turističkih atrakcija.

Do te je odluke, podsjetimo, došlo nakon dugogodišnjih apela zaljubljenika i štovatelja ovog morskog veterana okupljenih u Facebook grupi ‘Tijat u srcu‘, a koji su se zdušno borili za njegovo očuvanje. I čuo ih je na koncu župan šibensko-kninski Marko Jelić i uslišio im želju, pa tim potezom Šibenčane itekako podijelio.

Naime, nakon što je Tijat početkom listopada svečano dočekan u svojoj matičnoj, šibenskoj luci uz predstavnike Županije, gradske uprave te brojnim građanima i otočanima za koje Tijat nosi posebnu emotivnu vrijednost, stvorila se struja oprečnih mišljenja kako je spomenuti brod samo rupa bez dna, a da je njegova kupnja nepromišljena odluka vladajućih te županov način skupljanja političkih bodova.

Da brod pod hitno treba obnovu, jasno je kao dan, jednako kao da će ona i koštati, stoga je neke Šibenčane ‘razljutila‘ i vijest da je Šibensko - kninska županija otvorila račun na koji građani mogu uplatiti donacije za obnovu Tijata. Slijedom navedenog, ispada da ga je Županija kupila javnim novcem, odnosno, novcem poreznih obveznika, a sada još traži i donacije za njegovu obnovu. 

- Zaista u tome ne vidim ništa sporno. Donacije za Tijat, kao i za bilo što drugo, mogu se i ne moraju uplatiti, sve ovisi o volji pojedinca. Prvenstveno smo brod kupili i spasili zbog velikog interesa javnosti i građana i sam račun za donacije smo otvorili zbog njih jer je postojao interes onih koji žele pridonijeti njegovoj obnovi. Vrlo je jednostavno, tko želi uplatiti, može, a tko ne želi, ne mora, nikoga ne prisiljavamo ni na što. Pomalo me rastužuju takvi stavovi, zar ovo nije nešto čime bi se trebali dičiti? Da smo kupili brod koji je desetljećima plovio šibenskim arhipelagom i koji će ipak dobiti svoju drugu priliku i nastaviti ploviti kao brod muzej. Županija, među ostalim, predstavlja narod, građane i žitelje koji se za određene stvari zalažu i zadatak joj je, uz sve ostalo, brinuti i njegovati lokalnu kulturu, povijest i baštinu - kazuje nam župan Marko Jelić, dodavši kako će se sredstva za obnovu Tijata osigurati iz europskih fondova za razvoj otoka, a njihova procijenjena vrijednost kreće se od 850 do 900 tisuća eura.

Trenutno, dodaje Jelić, u Županiji čekaju ponudu za vađenje broda iz mora i skidanje boje, a ukoliko sve prođe kako treba, Tijat bi, smatra župan, iz remonta mogao otići za pola godine do godinu dana. Po svemu sudeći, Tijatu se, izgleda, smiješi svijetla budućnost.

Nakon što je početkom srpnja zasluženo umirovljen, a poslije čega mu se neko vrijeme sudbina nije ni znala, legendarni motorni brod Tijat od početka je listopada u vlasništvu Šibensko-kninske županije. Ona ga je od Jadrolinije kupila za 35 tisuća eura s namjerom da ga pretvori u brod muzej koji će i dalje ploviti do šibenskih otoka te Šibenčane i njegove goste prevoziti do Posjetiteljskih centara i inih otočnih turističkih atrakcija.

Do te je odluke, podsjetimo, došlo nakon dugogodišnjih apela zaljubljenika i štovatelja ovog morskog veterana okupljenih u Facebook grupi ‘Tijat u srcu‘, a koji su se zdušno borili za njegovo očuvanje. I čuo ih je na koncu župan šibensko-kninski Marko Jelić i uslišio im želju, pa tim potezom Šibenčane itekako podijelio.

Naime, nakon što je Tijat početkom listopada svečano dočekan u svojoj matičnoj, šibenskoj luci uz predstavnike Županije, gradske uprave te brojnim građanima i otočanima za koje Tijat nosi posebnu emotivnu vrijednost, stvorila se struja oprečnih mišljenja kako je spomenuti brod samo rupa bez dna, a da je njegova kupnja nepromišljena odluka vladajućih te županov način skupljanja političkih bodova.

Da brod pod hitno treba obnovu, jasno je kao dan, jednako kao da će ona i koštati, stoga je neke Šibenčane ‘razljutila‘ i vijest da je Šibensko - kninska županija otvorila račun na koji građani mogu uplatiti donacije za obnovu Tijata. Slijedom navedenog, ispada da ga je Županija kupila javnim novcem, odnosno, novcem poreznih obveznika, a sada još traži i donacije za njegovu obnovu. 

- Zaista u tome ne vidim ništa sporno. Donacije za Tijat, kao i za bilo što drugo, mogu se i ne moraju uplatiti, sve ovisi o volji pojedinca. Prvenstveno smo brod kupili i spasili zbog velikog interesa javnosti i građana i sam račun za donacije smo otvorili zbog njih jer je postojao interes onih koji žele pridonijeti njegovoj obnovi. Vrlo je jednostavno, tko želi uplatiti, može, a tko ne želi, ne mora, nikoga ne prisiljavamo ni na što. Pomalo me rastužuju takvi stavovi, zar ovo nije nešto čime bi se trebali dičiti? Da smo kupili brod koji je desetljećima plovio šibenskim arhipelagom i koji će ipak dobiti svoju drugu priliku i nastaviti ploviti kao brod muzej. Županija, među ostalim, predstavlja narod, građane i žitelje koji se za određene stvari zalažu i zadatak joj je, uz sve ostalo, brinuti i njegovati lokalnu kulturu, povijest i baštinu - kazuje nam župan Marko Jelić, dodavši kako će se sredstva za obnovu Tijata osigurati iz europskih fondova za razvoj otoka, a njihova procijenjena vrijednost kreće se od 850 do 900 tisuća eura.

Trenutno, dodaje Jelić, u Županiji čekaju ponudu za vađenje broda iz mora i skidanje boje, a ukoliko sve prođe kako treba, Tijat bi, smatra župan, iz remonta mogao otići za pola godine do godinu dana. Po svemu sudeći, Tijatu se, izgleda, smiješi svijetla budućnost.
