Ruska podmornica udarila je u sonar britanskog ratnog broda dok je pratila kretanje broda u sjevernom Atlantiku, u prvom sudaru između ruskih brodova i britanske Kraljevske mornarice od kraja Hladnog rata.

Nakon bliskog susreta do kojeg je došlo krajem 2020. godine, britanska fregata HMS Northumberland bila je prisiljena prekinuti svoju 48-satnu misiju pronalaženja ruske podmornice, što je činila koristeći tegljeni sonar, piše The Telegraph.

Uređaj, koji koristi stotine mikrofona, odnosno hidrofona spojenih na kabel, fregata tipa 23 vukla je iza sebe kako bi na suptilan način otkrila podmornicu. No, sonar je nakon incidenta oštećen do te mjere da se ratni brod morao vratiti u luku kako bi se zamijenio.

Jedan je izvor iz britanske mornarice rekao kako je vjerojatnost da podmornica udari u tegljeni sonar izuzetno mala, gotovo nepostojeća.

"Ocean je golem, a vučeno tijelo sonara je toliko malo da je vjerojatnost interakcije vrlo mala. Ovdje se radi naprosto o nesreći i slučajnom događaju. Rusi to ne bi namjerno pokušali učiniti", uvjerava izvor.

Isti izvor za Telegraph kaže da je buka koja se stvorila nakon bliskog susreta vjerojatno bila toliko jaka "da se posada morala us**ti od straha".

Sudar snimljen u dokumentarcu

Nakon incidenta posada britanskog broda je lansirala helikopter Merlin kako bi pokušala pronaći podmornicu.

"Krajem 2020. ruska podmornica koju je pratio HMS Northumberland došla je u kontakt s njezinim vučenim sonarom. Kraljevska mornarica redovito prati strane brodove i podmornice kako bi osigurala obranu Ujedinjene Kraljevine", rekao je glasnogovornik britanskog ministarstva obrane potvrđujući incident.

Trenutak sudara je snimila ekipa britanske televizijske postaje Channel 5, koja je na HMS Northumberlandu bila radi snimanja dokumentarca u sklopu serijala "Warship: Life at Sea".

Snimka bilježi trenutak kada je posada uočila ono za što su mislili da je periskop ruske podmornice i komunikacijski jarbol koji strši iznad površine vode.

Zapovjednika Thoma Hobbsa, kapetana ratnog broda, na snimci se može čuti kako govori: "Vrlo smo blizu podmornice, vjerojatno smo paralelno uz nju. Da su na površini, definitivno bismo im vidjeli lica".

Podmornica se tada oštro okreće u manevru opisanom kao "agresivan potez".

Odmah nakon sudara na snimci se može čuti netko kako uspaničeno viče: 'Što je to bilo, dovraga?!'

Tom Sharpe, bivši kapetan fregate, rekao je za The Telegraph kako je ruska prijetnja britanskim nacionalnim podmorskim komunikacijama stvarna, da se nalazi na njihovom 'pragu' i da je sve veća.

'Ustati protiv ruske prijetnje'

Dok su izvori iz mornarice inzistirali da ništa nije ukazivalo na to da je sudar bio namjeran, Sharpe ističe kako je "malo vjerojatno da bi T23 (fregata tipa 23), čak i u tihom načinu rada, bila potpuno nevidljiva za rusku podmornicu".

Međutim, dodaje kako je vrlo moguće da posada podmornice nije znala gdje se brod točno nalazi i u kojem smjeru ide.

Vijest o incidentu pojavila u trenutku kada je britanska ministrica vanjskih poslova Liz Truss poručila Donjem domu parlamenta da "slobodni svijet mora ustati" kako bi se suočio s prijetnjama koje stižu iz Rusije. Pritom se referirala na činjenicu da su Rusi uz ukrajinsku granicu nagomilali 100.000 vojnika.

"Svaki ruski vojni upad bio bi golema strateška pogreška. Rusija je ovdje agresor - pozivamo ih da prekinu svoje zlonamjerne aktivnosti i drže se onoga što je dogovoreno i na što su pristali", rekla Truss je zastupnicima, dodajući kako je jedini put naprijed taj da Rusija smiri tenzije i nastavi putem diplomacije.

Ruska podmornica udarila je u sonar britanskog ratnog broda dok je pratila kretanje broda u sjevernom Atlantiku, u prvom sudaru između ruskih brodova i britanske Kraljevske mornarice od kraja Hladnog rata.

Nakon bliskog susreta do kojeg je došlo krajem 2020. godine, britanska fregata HMS Northumberland bila je prisiljena prekinuti svoju 48-satnu misiju pronalaženja ruske podmornice, što je činila koristeći tegljeni sonar, piše The Telegraph.

Uređaj, koji koristi stotine mikrofona, odnosno hidrofona spojenih na kabel, fregata tipa 23 vukla je iza sebe kako bi na suptilan način otkrila podmornicu. No, sonar je nakon incidenta oštećen do te mjere da se ratni brod morao vratiti u luku kako bi se zamijenio.

Jedan je izvor iz britanske mornarice rekao kako je vjerojatnost da podmornica udari u tegljeni sonar izuzetno mala, gotovo nepostojeća.

"Ocean je golem, a vučeno tijelo sonara je toliko malo da je vjerojatnost interakcije vrlo mala. Ovdje se radi naprosto o nesreći i slučajnom događaju. Rusi to ne bi namjerno pokušali učiniti", uvjerava izvor.

Isti izvor za Telegraph kaže da je buka koja se stvorila nakon bliskog susreta vjerojatno bila toliko jaka "da se posada morala us**ti od straha".

Sudar snimljen u dokumentarcu

Nakon incidenta posada britanskog broda je lansirala helikopter Merlin kako bi pokušala pronaći podmornicu.

"Krajem 2020. ruska podmornica koju je pratio HMS Northumberland došla je u kontakt s njezinim vučenim sonarom. Kraljevska mornarica redovito prati strane brodove i podmornice kako bi osigurala obranu Ujedinjene Kraljevine", rekao je glasnogovornik britanskog ministarstva obrane potvrđujući incident.

Trenutak sudara je snimila ekipa britanske televizijske postaje Channel 5, koja je na HMS Northumberlandu bila radi snimanja dokumentarca u sklopu serijala "Warship: Life at Sea".

Snimka bilježi trenutak kada je posada uočila ono za što su mislili da je periskop ruske podmornice i komunikacijski jarbol koji strši iznad površine vode.

Zapovjednika Thoma Hobbsa, kapetana ratnog broda, na snimci se može čuti kako govori: "Vrlo smo blizu podmornice, vjerojatno smo paralelno uz nju. Da su na površini, definitivno bismo im vidjeli lica".

Podmornica se tada oštro okreće u manevru opisanom kao "agresivan potez".

Odmah nakon sudara na snimci se može čuti netko kako uspaničeno viče: 'Što je to bilo, dovraga?!'

Tom Sharpe, bivši kapetan fregate, rekao je za The Telegraph kako je ruska prijetnja britanskim nacionalnim podmorskim komunikacijama stvarna, da se nalazi na njihovom 'pragu' i da je sve veća.

'Ustati protiv ruske prijetnje'

Dok su izvori iz mornarice inzistirali da ništa nije ukazivalo na to da je sudar bio namjeran, Sharpe ističe kako je "malo vjerojatno da bi T23 (fregata tipa 23), čak i u tihom načinu rada, bila potpuno nevidljiva za rusku podmornicu".

Međutim, dodaje kako je vrlo moguće da posada podmornice nije znala gdje se brod točno nalazi i u kojem smjeru ide.

Vijest o incidentu pojavila u trenutku kada je britanska ministrica vanjskih poslova Liz Truss poručila Donjem domu parlamenta da "slobodni svijet mora ustati" kako bi se suočio s prijetnjama koje stižu iz Rusije. Pritom se referirala na činjenicu da su Rusi uz ukrajinsku granicu nagomilali 100.000 vojnika.

"Svaki ruski vojni upad bio bi golema strateška pogreška. Rusija je ovdje agresor - pozivamo ih da prekinu svoje zlonamjerne aktivnosti i drže se onoga što je dogovoreno i na što su pristali", rekla Truss je zastupnicima, dodajući kako je jedini put naprijed taj da Rusija smiri tenzije i nastavi putem diplomacije.

Ruska podmornica udarila je u sonar britanskog ratnog broda dok je pratila kretanje broda u sjevernom Atlantiku, u prvom sudaru između ruskih brodova i britanske Kraljevske mornarice od kraja Hladnog rata.

Nakon bliskog susreta do kojeg je došlo krajem 2020. godine, britanska fregata HMS Northumberland bila je prisiljena prekinuti svoju 48-satnu misiju pronalaženja ruske podmornice, što je činila koristeći tegljeni sonar, piše The Telegraph.

Uređaj, koji koristi stotine mikrofona, odnosno hidrofona spojenih na kabel, fregata tipa 23 vukla je iza sebe kako bi na suptilan način otkrila podmornicu. No, sonar je nakon incidenta oštećen do te mjere da se ratni brod morao vratiti u luku kako bi se zamijenio.

Jedan je izvor iz britanske mornarice rekao kako je vjerojatnost da podmornica udari u tegljeni sonar izuzetno mala, gotovo nepostojeća.

"Ocean je golem, a vučeno tijelo sonara je toliko malo da je vjerojatnost interakcije vrlo mala. Ovdje se radi naprosto o nesreći i slučajnom događaju. Rusi to ne bi namjerno pokušali učiniti", uvjerava izvor.

Isti izvor za Telegraph kaže da je buka koja se stvorila nakon bliskog susreta vjerojatno bila toliko jaka "da se posada morala us**ti od straha".

Sudar snimljen u dokumentarcu

Nakon incidenta posada britanskog broda je lansirala helikopter Merlin kako bi pokušala pronaći podmornicu.

"Krajem 2020. ruska podmornica koju je pratio HMS Northumberland došla je u kontakt s njezinim vučenim sonarom. Kraljevska mornarica redovito prati strane brodove i podmornice kako bi osigurala obranu Ujedinjene Kraljevine", rekao je glasnogovornik britanskog ministarstva obrane potvrđujući incident.

Trenutak sudara je snimila ekipa britanske televizijske postaje Channel 5, koja je na HMS Northumberlandu bila radi snimanja dokumentarca u sklopu serijala "Warship: Life at Sea".

Snimka bilježi trenutak kada je posada uočila ono za što su mislili da je periskop ruske podmornice i komunikacijski jarbol koji strši iznad površine vode.
