Talijanska vlada proglasila je u nedjelju izvanredno stanje za otok Ischiju blizu Napulja na jugu pogođenog dan ranije velikim odronom tla izazvanog bujičnim kišama te je broj poginulih narastao na sedam, objavile su lokalne vlasti.

"Broj žrtava klizanja tla u mjestu Casamicciola narastao je na sedam, a traga se za još pet osoba", izjavio je u nedjelju navečer prefekt Napulja Claudio Palomba.

Zaposlenici hitne pomoći pojačali su potragu za nestalima dan nakon što je klizište uništilo Casamicciola Terme.

Statistika pokazuje da je na vulkanskome otoku Ischiji, od Napulja udaljenom 30-ak km, bespravno izgrađen velik broj kuća. Zbog toga je stanovništvo sve češće u opasnosti od poplava i potresa, koji su često pogađali brdoviti otok posljednjih godina. Kobno klizište ponovno je pokrenulo političke kontroverze u pogledu toleriranja bespravno izgrađenih kuća i nevoljkosti političara da se uhvate u koštac s tim problemom, bez obzira na to tko je na vlasti.

Talijanska vlada proglasila je u nedjelju izvanredno stanje za otok Ischiju blizu Napulja na jugu pogođenog dan ranije velikim odronom tla izazvanog bujičnim kišama te je broj poginulih narastao na sedam, objavile su lokalne vlasti.

"Broj žrtava klizanja tla u mjestu Casamicciola narastao je na sedam, a traga se za još pet osoba", izjavio je u nedjelju navečer prefekt Napulja Claudio Palomba.

Zaposlenici hitne pomoći pojačali su potragu za nestalima dan nakon što je klizište uništilo Casamicciola Terme.

Statistika pokazuje da je na vulkanskome otoku Ischiji, od Napulja udaljenom 30-ak km, bespravno izgrađen velik broj kuća. Zbog toga je stanovništvo sve češće u opasnosti od poplava i potresa, koji su često pogađali brdoviti otok posljednjih godina. Kobno klizište ponovno je pokrenulo političke kontroverze u pogledu toleriranja bespravno izgrađenih kuća i nevoljkosti političara da se uhvate u koštac s tim problemom, bez obzira na to tko je na vlasti.
