Američki proizvođač ukapljenog plina Freeport LNG izvijestio je da će njegov pogon u Teksasu, oštećen u eksploziji, nastaviti s radom tek u rujnu, najavljujuće nove probleme Europi koja traži zamjenu za ruski plin.
Pogon čini petinu američkog izvoza LNG-a i glavni je dobavljač europskih kupaca u potrazi za alternativnim izvorima nabave.
Puknuće plinovoda pod prevelikim tlakom izazvalo je 8. lipnja eksploziju i požar, pa je rad u pogonu u Quintani obustavljen, objavila je kompanija u utorak, dodavši da postrojenja za preradu nisu oštećena.
Pogon će nastaviti s radom u rujnu, ali u ograničenom obujmu, istaknuli su, dodavši da povratak na puni kapacitet očekuju do kraja godine.
Freeport u pogonu ukapljuje oko šest milijuna prostornih metara prirodnog plina dnevno, a proteklih mjeseci radio je gotovo punim kapacitetom, prema konzultantskoj kući Rystad Energy.
U Europu je od svibnja odlazilo oko 3,3 milijuna prostornih metara, u usporedbi s 2,3 milijuna u ožujku, izvijestio je Rystad.
Cijene prirodnog plina pale su u SAD-u i skočile u Europi zbog vijesti o produženom zatvaranju.
Freeport je priopćio da će produljeni popravak značiti 40 izgubljenih pošiljki, trostruko više no što su procijenili prošlog tjedna.
Analitičari smatraju da će tržište koje proizvodi 100 milijuna tona LNG-a godišnje zbog problema u Freeportovom pogonu izgubiti četiri do pet milijuna tona LNG-a.
Nakon objave američkog proizvođača cijene plina porasle su u Europi čak 21 posto. Naknadno su se stabilizirale na razini od 90,43 eura po megavat satu, u plusu 11,6 posto.
„Kada su u pitanju regije, očekujemo da će incident najteže pogoditi Europu", poručili su iz Rystad Energya.
Zatvaranje proizvodnje u Freeportovom pogodnu značit će gubitak još 2,8 milijuna tona s tržišta do rujna, rekao je LNG analitičar u ICIS-u Alex Froley.
Oko 70 posto Freeportovog izvoza bilo je proteklih mjeseci usmjereno u EU i Veliku Britaniju, a Francuska, Turska i Nizozemska spadaju među najveće uvoznike u ovoj godini.

Američki proizvođač ukapljenog plina Freeport LNG izvijestio je da će njegov pogon u Teksasu, oštećen u eksploziji, nastaviti s radom tek u rujnu, najavljujuće nove probleme Europi koja traži zamjenu za ruski plin.
Pogon čini petinu američkog izvoza LNG-a i glavni je dobavljač europskih kupaca u potrazi za alternativnim izvorima nabave.
Puknuće plinovoda pod prevelikim tlakom izazvalo je 8. lipnja eksploziju i požar, pa je rad u pogonu u Quintani obustavljen, objavila je kompanija u utorak, dodavši da postrojenja za preradu nisu oštećena.
Pogon će nastaviti s radom u rujnu, ali u ograničenom obujmu, istaknuli su, dodavši da povratak na puni kapacitet očekuju do kraja godine.
Freeport u pogonu ukapljuje oko šest milijuna prostornih metara prirodnog plina dnevno, a proteklih mjeseci radio je gotovo punim kapacitetom, prema konzultantskoj kući Rystad Energy.
U Europu je od svibnja odlazilo oko 3,3 milijuna prostornih metara, u usporedbi s 2,3 milijuna u ožujku, izvijestio je Rystad.
Cijene prirodnog plina pale su u SAD-u i skočile u Europi zbog vijesti o produženom zatvaranju.
Freeport je priopćio da će produljeni popravak značiti 40 izgubljenih pošiljki, trostruko više no što su procijenili prošlog tjedna.
Analitičari smatraju da će tržište koje proizvodi 100 milijuna tona LNG-a godišnje zbog problema u Freeportovom pogonu izgubiti četiri do pet milijuna tona LNG-a.
Nakon objave američkog proizvođača cijene plina porasle su u Europi čak 21 posto. Naknadno su se stabilizirale na razini od 90,43 eura po megavat satu, u plusu 11,6 posto.
„Kada su u pitanju regije, očekujemo da će incident najteže pogoditi Europu", poručili su iz Rystad Energya.
Zatvaranje proizvodnje u Freeportovom pogodnu značit će gubitak još 2,8 milijuna tona s tržišta do rujna, rekao je LNG analitičar u ICIS-u Alex Froley.
Oko 70 posto Freeportovog izvoza bilo je proteklih mjeseci usmjereno u EU i Veliku Britaniju, a Francuska, Turska i Nizozemska spadaju među najveće uvoznike u ovoj godini.
