Nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i zaustavljanja projekta plinovoda Sjeverni tok II do daljnjeg, u Njemačkoj se ubrzavaju pripreme za izgradnju infrastrukture za prijenos ukapljenog plina (LNG) te prije svega LNG terminala koji bi trebao biti izgrađen u blizini Hamburga.

„Ukrajinska kriza, ali i rast cijene energenata su nam pokazali da Njemačka mora biti neovisnija od bilateralnih ugovora s pojedinim državama“, rekao je ministar gospodarstva savezne pokrajine Donja Saska, na čijem području bi trebao biti izgrađen terminal u Stadeu.

Kao druga moguća lokacija za terminal se navodi Brunsbuettel, s druge strane ušća Labe, u saveznoj pokrajini Schleswig-Holstein.

Terminali za ukapljeni plin do sada se nisu nalazili u fokusu njemačke energetske politike ali se u posljednje vrijeme, posebice od zaoštravanja ukrajinske krize, otvoreno raspravlja o mogućnost gradnje takvih terminala i u Njemačkoj. Tu mogućnost je podržala i prijašnja, ali i aktualna vlada.

Rasprava je dobila na zamahu nakon što je u utorak njemačka vlada projekt plinovoda Sjeverni tok II do daljnjeg stavila na led.

„LNG terminali su dodatni ‚bypass‘ i pomažu ostvarenju cilja postizanja energetske neovisnosti“, rekao je ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck (Zeleni) za dnevnik Handelsblatt.

On je ukazao i na to da je zbog smanjene isporuke plina iz Rusije protekle zime dolazilo do uskih grla u opskrbi te zaključio da to „mora sa sobom povući i neke političke korake“.

Habeck je rekao da se LNG terminali mogu koristiti i za transfer vodika, na kojeg se oslanja dio njemačke klimatske strategije.

LNG terminali su posebice spominjani tijekom vladavine američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa, koji je Njemačku htio prisiliti na to da odustane od projekta Sjeverni tok II i da se okrene uvozu ukapljenog plina. SAD su, uz Katar i Australiju, najveći izvoznici ukapljenog plina na svijetu.

Direktorica Saveza njemačke energetske privrede (BDEW) Kerstin Andreae smatra da se Njemačka već sad, iako ne raspolaže vlastitim LNG terminalom, može priključiti na postojeću mrežu unutar EU-a.

„Njemačka doduše na posjeduje vlastite terminale, ali preko nizozemske i francuske mreže može vrlo brzo priključiti u postojeću opskrbu“, rekla je Andreae.

Njemačka je direktno spojena na terminale u Dunkerqueu (Francuska), Rotterdamu (Nizozemska) i Zeebruggeu (Belgija).

„Do sada Njemačka nije imala potrebe za LNG-om, ali gospodarsko-politički uvjeti to mogu promijeniti“, smatra Andreae.

No zbog loše ekološke bilance LNG-a gradnji terminala protive se predstavnici ekoloških udruga, kao i dijelovi stranke Zeleni, koja sudjeluje u radu nove savezne vlade.

Njemačka trenutno više od 50 posto potrebe za zemnim plinom zadovoljava uvozom iz Rusije.

Nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i zaustavljanja projekta plinovoda Sjeverni tok II do daljnjeg, u Njemačkoj se ubrzavaju pripreme za izgradnju infrastrukture za prijenos ukapljenog plina (LNG) te prije svega LNG terminala koji bi trebao biti izgrađen u blizini Hamburga.

„Ukrajinska kriza, ali i rast cijene energenata su nam pokazali da Njemačka mora biti neovisnija od bilateralnih ugovora s pojedinim državama“, rekao je ministar gospodarstva savezne pokrajine Donja Saska, na čijem području bi trebao biti izgrađen terminal u Stadeu.

Kao druga moguća lokacija za terminal se navodi Brunsbuettel, s druge strane ušća Labe, u saveznoj pokrajini Schleswig-Holstein.

Terminali za ukapljeni plin do sada se nisu nalazili u fokusu njemačke energetske politike ali se u posljednje vrijeme, posebice od zaoštravanja ukrajinske krize, otvoreno raspravlja o mogućnost gradnje takvih terminala i u Njemačkoj. Tu mogućnost je podržala i prijašnja, ali i aktualna vlada.

Rasprava je dobila na zamahu nakon što je u utorak njemačka vlada projekt plinovoda Sjeverni tok II do daljnjeg stavila na led.

„LNG terminali su dodatni ‚bypass‘ i pomažu ostvarenju cilja postizanja energetske neovisnosti“, rekao je ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck (Zeleni) za dnevnik Handelsblatt.

On je ukazao i na to da je zbog smanjene isporuke plina iz Rusije protekle zime dolazilo do uskih grla u opskrbi te zaključio da to „mora sa sobom povući i neke političke korake“.

Habeck je rekao da se LNG terminali mogu koristiti i za transfer vodika, na kojeg se oslanja dio njemačke klimatske strategije.

LNG terminali su posebice spominjani tijekom vladavine američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa, koji je Njemačku htio prisiliti na to da odustane od projekta Sjeverni tok II i da se okrene uvozu ukapljenog plina. SAD su, uz Katar i Australiju, najveći izvoznici ukapljenog plina na svijetu.

Direktorica Saveza njemačke energetske privrede (BDEW) Kerstin Andreae smatra da se Njemačka već sad, iako ne raspolaže vlastitim LNG terminalom, može priključiti na postojeću mrežu unutar EU-a.

„Njemačka doduše na posjeduje vlastite terminale, ali preko nizozemske i francuske mreže može vrlo brzo priključiti u postojeću opskrbu“, rekla je Andreae.

Njemačka je direktno spojena na terminale u Dunkerqueu (Francuska), Rotterdamu (Nizozemska) i Zeebruggeu (Belgija).

„Do sada Njemačka nije imala potrebe za LNG-om, ali gospodarsko-politički uvjeti to mogu promijeniti“, smatra Andreae.

No zbog loše ekološke bilance LNG-a gradnji terminala protive se predstavnici ekoloških udruga, kao i dijelovi stranke Zeleni, koja sudjeluje u radu nove savezne vlade.

Njemačka trenutno više od 50 posto potrebe za zemnim plinom zadovoljava uvozom iz Rusije.

Nakon ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i zaustavljanja projekta plinovoda Sjeverni tok II do daljnjeg, u Njemačkoj se ubrzavaju pripreme za izgradnju infrastrukture za prijenos ukapljenog plina (LNG) te prije svega LNG terminala koji bi trebao biti izgrađen u blizini Hamburga.

„Ukrajinska kriza, ali i rast cijene energenata su nam pokazali da Njemačka mora biti neovisnija od bilateralnih ugovora s pojedinim državama“, rekao je ministar gospodarstva savezne pokrajine Donja Saska, na čijem području bi trebao biti izgrađen terminal u Stadeu.

Kao druga moguća lokacija za terminal se navodi Brunsbuettel, s druge strane ušća Labe, u saveznoj pokrajini Schleswig-Holstein.

Terminali za ukapljeni plin do sada se nisu nalazili u fokusu njemačke energetske politike ali se u posljednje vrijeme, posebice od zaoštravanja ukrajinske krize, otvoreno raspravlja o mogućnost gradnje takvih terminala i u Njemačkoj. Tu mogućnost je podržala i prijašnja, ali i aktualna vlada.

Rasprava je dobila na zamahu nakon što je u utorak njemačka vlada projekt plinovoda Sjeverni tok II do daljnjeg stavila na led.

„LNG terminali su dodatni ‚bypass‘ i pomažu ostvarenju cilja postizanja energetske neovisnosti“, rekao je ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck (Zeleni) za dnevnik Handelsblatt.

On je ukazao i na to da je zbog smanjene isporuke plina iz Rusije protekle zime dolazilo do uskih grla u opskrbi te zaključio da to „mora sa sobom povući i neke političke korake“.

Habeck je rekao da se LNG terminali mogu koristiti i za transfer vodika, na kojeg se oslanja dio njemačke klimatske strategije.

LNG terminali su posebice spominjani tijekom vladavine američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa, koji je Njemačku htio prisiliti na to da odustane od projekta Sjeverni tok II i da se okrene uvozu ukapljenog plina. SAD su, uz Katar i Australiju, najveći izvoznici ukapljenog plina na svijetu.

Direktorica Saveza njemačke energetske privrede (BDEW) Kerstin Andreae smatra da se Njemačka već sad, iako ne raspolaže vlastitim LNG terminalom, može priključiti na postojeću mrežu unutar EU-a.

„Njemačka doduše na posjeduje vlastite terminale, ali preko nizozemske i francuske mreže može vrlo brzo priključiti u postojeću opskrbu“, rekla je Andreae.

Njemačka je direktno spojena na terminale u Dunkerqueu (Francuska), Rotterdamu (Nizozemska) i Zeebruggeu (Belgija).

„Do sada Njemačka nije imala potrebe za LNG-om, ali gospodarsko-politički uvjeti to mogu promijeniti“, smatra Andreae.

No zbog loše ekološke bilance LNG-a gradnji terminala protive se predstavnici ekoloških udruga, kao i dijelovi stranke Zeleni, koja sudjeluje u radu nove savezne vlade.

Njemačka trenutno više od 50 posto potrebe za zemnim plinom zadovoljava uvozom iz Rusije.
