Točka u Adenskom zaljevu na ulasku u Crveno more i dalje u Sredozemlje trenutačno je najopasnija lokacija i noćna mora za sve pomorce i pomorske kompanije. Druga opcija puno je duži i skuplji put oko Afrike.

Novinari Nove TV razgovarali su s kapetanom Mariom Tomasom koji s 11 hrvatskih i 11 filipinskih pomoraca na brodu Solin iz Koreje plovi prema Sredozemlju. Plan puta je bio najkraćom rutom kroz Adenski zaljev i Crveno more do Sredozemlja i luke u Turskoj. Cijelo vrijeme znali su da ih na ulasku u Crveno more dočekuju mogući napadi hutista kod Jemena.

"Cijelo vrijeme bili smo napeti i pod neugodnim osjećajem, ali uvijek smo vrtjeli razne scenarije, bili smo dobro mentalno spremni i uvježbani", ističe Tomas.

Za sigurnost u Zaljevu brinu američki i drugi saveznički brodovi. Druga opcija bio bi puno duži i za kompanije znatno skuplji put oko Afrike. Stoga su riskirali. Kao i svi brodovi na tom mjestu trenutačno, dobro su se osigurali naoružanim zaštitarima koji su ušli na brod prije prolaska.

"Kad je bilo najkritičnije, zaštitari su držali puške na gotovs... Sad smo izbjegli opasnost", rekao je Tomas.

Solin je brod za rasute terete, a posadu broda sada čeka prolazak kroz Sueski kanal i dalje put u Sredozemno more. Vjeruju da su u ostatku plovidbe Crvenim morem ipak sigurni.

Točka u Adenskom zaljevu na ulasku u Crveno more i dalje u Sredozemlje trenutačno je najopasnija lokacija i noćna mora za sve pomorce i pomorske kompanije. Druga opcija puno je duži i skuplji put oko Afrike.

Novinari Nove TV razgovarali su s kapetanom Mariom Tomasom koji s 11 hrvatskih i 11 filipinskih pomoraca na brodu Solin iz Koreje plovi prema Sredozemlju. Plan puta je bio najkraćom rutom kroz Adenski zaljev i Crveno more do Sredozemlja i luke u Turskoj. Cijelo vrijeme znali su da ih na ulasku u Crveno more dočekuju mogući napadi hutista kod Jemena.

"Cijelo vrijeme bili smo napeti i pod neugodnim osjećajem, ali uvijek smo vrtjeli razne scenarije, bili smo dobro mentalno spremni i uvježbani", ističe Tomas.

Za sigurnost u Zaljevu brinu američki i drugi saveznički brodovi. Druga opcija bio bi puno duži i za kompanije znatno skuplji put oko Afrike. Stoga su riskirali. Kao i svi brodovi na tom mjestu trenutačno, dobro su se osigurali naoružanim zaštitarima koji su ušli na brod prije prolaska.

"Kad je bilo najkritičnije, zaštitari su držali puške na gotovs... Sad smo izbjegli opasnost", rekao je Tomas.

Solin je brod za rasute terete, a posadu broda sada čeka prolazak kroz Sueski kanal i dalje put u Sredozemno more. Vjeruju da su u ostatku plovidbe Crvenim morem ipak sigurni.

Točka u Adenskom zaljevu na ulasku u Crveno more i dalje u Sredozemlje trenutačno je najopasnija lokacija i noćna mora za sve pomorce i pomorske kompanije. Druga opcija puno je duži i skuplji put oko Afrike.

Novinari Nove TV razgovarali su s kapetanom Mariom Tomasom koji s 11 hrvatskih i 11 filipinskih pomoraca na brodu Solin iz Koreje plovi prema Sredozemlju. Plan puta je bio najkraćom rutom kroz Adenski zaljev i Crveno more do Sredozemlja i luke u Turskoj. Cijelo vrijeme znali su da ih na ulasku u Crveno more dočekuju mogući napadi hutista kod Jemena.

"Cijelo vrijeme bili smo napeti i pod neugodnim osjećajem, ali uvijek smo vrtjeli razne scenarije, bili smo dobro mentalno spremni i uvježbani", ističe Tomas.

Za sigurnost u Zaljevu brinu američki i drugi saveznički brodovi. Druga opcija bio bi puno duži i za kompanije znatno skuplji put oko Afrike. Stoga su riskirali. Kao i svi brodovi na tom mjestu trenutačno, dobro su se osigurali naoružanim zaštitarima koji su ušli na brod prije prolaska.

"Kad je bilo najkritičnije, zaštitari su držali puške na gotovs... Sad smo izbjegli opasnost", rekao je Tomas.

Solin je brod za rasute terete, a posadu broda sada čeka prolazak kroz Sueski kanal i dalje put u Sredozemno more. Vjeruju da su u ostatku plovidbe Crvenim morem ipak sigurni.
