Dubrovčanin Tonći Karužić na svom je Facebook profilu objavio video o slučajnom pronalasku morskog konjica u staroj gradskoj luci, javlja Dubrovački vjesnik.

Naime, ronilac Joško Hrnić nije ni slutio da će ispod Karužićeve barke 'naletjeti' na morskog konjica. Kako navodi sugovornik, ovako veliki primjerak ronilac u portu nije vidio barem 50 godina koliko roni u Portu.

Karužić, koji je asistirao pri 'hvatanju' ove fascinantne morske životinje asistirao je tako što je za konjica pripremio broku, a konjic je potom prebačen u dubrovački Akvarij gdje je pronašao novi i siguran dom.

- Morski konjic (Hippocampus) je riba iz nadrazreda koštunjača, porodice šiljogubaca (Syngnathidae). Ujedno je i zaštitni znak dubrovačkog Akvarija. Nalazimo ga u plitkom moru do 30 m dubine u livadama morske trave. Hrani se planktonom, sitnom ribom i račićima, a može narasti do 15 centimetara. Da ga morske struje ne bi odnijele, repom se prihvaća za alge ili druge tanje predmete. Skriva se od neprijatelja tako što poprima boju podvodnog bilja. Zanimljivo je da ženka polaže jajašca u trbušnu vrećicu mužjaka. Za razliku od drugih životinja, mužjak proizvodi posebnu hranidbenu tekućinu za embrije. Na kraju razdoblja sazrijevanja, mužjak ispušta mladunce koji dalje slobodno plivaju u moru - pojašnjava Antonia Kurtela iz Instituta za more i priobalje Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku koja je potvrdila kako je riječ o neobičnom velikom primjerku konjica.

Dubrovčanin Tonći Karužić na svom je Facebook profilu objavio video o slučajnom pronalasku morskog konjica u staroj gradskoj luci, javlja Dubrovački vjesnik.

Naime, ronilac Joško Hrnić nije ni slutio da će ispod Karužićeve barke 'naletjeti' na morskog konjica. Kako navodi sugovornik, ovako veliki primjerak ronilac u portu nije vidio barem 50 godina koliko roni u Portu.

Karužić, koji je asistirao pri 'hvatanju' ove fascinantne morske životinje asistirao je tako što je za konjica pripremio broku, a konjic je potom prebačen u dubrovački Akvarij gdje je pronašao novi i siguran dom.

- Morski konjic (Hippocampus) je riba iz nadrazreda koštunjača, porodice šiljogubaca (Syngnathidae). Ujedno je i zaštitni znak dubrovačkog Akvarija. Nalazimo ga u plitkom moru do 30 m dubine u livadama morske trave. Hrani se planktonom, sitnom ribom i račićima, a može narasti do 15 centimetara. Da ga morske struje ne bi odnijele, repom se prihvaća za alge ili druge tanje predmete. Skriva se od neprijatelja tako što poprima boju podvodnog bilja. Zanimljivo je da ženka polaže jajašca u trbušnu vrećicu mužjaka. Za razliku od drugih životinja, mužjak proizvodi posebnu hranidbenu tekućinu za embrije. Na kraju razdoblja sazrijevanja, mužjak ispušta mladunce koji dalje slobodno plivaju u moru - pojašnjava Antonia Kurtela iz Instituta za more i priobalje Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku koja je potvrdila kako je riječ o neobičnom velikom primjerku konjica.

Dubrovčanin Tonći Karužić na svom je Facebook profilu objavio video o slučajnom pronalasku morskog konjica u staroj gradskoj luci, javlja Dubrovački vjesnik.

Naime, ronilac Joško Hrnić nije ni slutio da će ispod Karužićeve barke 'naletjeti' na morskog konjica. Kako navodi sugovornik, ovako veliki primjerak ronilac u portu nije vidio barem 50 godina koliko roni u Portu.

Karužić, koji je asistirao pri 'hvatanju' ove fascinantne morske životinje asistirao je tako što je za konjica pripremio broku, a konjic je potom prebačen u dubrovački Akvarij gdje je pronašao novi i siguran dom.

- Morski konjic (Hippocampus) je riba iz nadrazreda koštunjača, porodice šiljogubaca (Syngnathidae). Ujedno je i zaštitni znak dubrovačkog Akvarija. Nalazimo ga u plitkom moru do 30 m dubine u livadama morske trave. Hrani se planktonom, sitnom ribom i račićima, a može narasti do 15 centimetara. Da ga morske struje ne bi odnijele, repom se prihvaća za alge ili druge tanje predmete. Skriva se od neprijatelja tako što poprima boju podvodnog bilja. Zanimljivo je da ženka polaže jajašca u trbušnu vrećicu mužjaka. Za razliku od drugih životinja, mužjak proizvodi posebnu hranidbenu tekućinu za embrije. Na kraju razdoblja sazrijevanja, mužjak ispušta mladunce koji dalje slobodno plivaju u moru - pojašnjava Antonia Kurtela iz Instituta za more i priobalje Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku koja je potvrdila kako je riječ o neobičnom velikom primjerku konjica.
