Pandemija koronavirusa izazvala je ogromne gubitke u sektoru krstarenja, a kriza se prelila i na brodograditelje, pa su u Njemačkoj dvije tvrtke objavile stečaj u jednom danu. Vlada je poručila da ne planira sjediti prekriženih ruku.
Zahtjev za stečajem objavili su u ponedjeljak graditelj kruzera MV Werften i Lloyd-Werft, specijaliziran za gradnju trajekata i velikih jahti.
Lloyd-Werftu već je dodijeljen stečajni upravitelj.
Sindikati su početak tjedna nazvali „crnim danom” za njemačku brodogradnju.
"Zgroženi smo što je došlo do ovoga", rekao je u ponedjeljak čelnik sindikalne podružnice podružnice IG Metalla Daniel Friedrich.
Objava stečaja označava neuspjeh pregovora njemačke savezne vlade i vlasti savezne zemlje Mecklenburg-Vorpormmern s jedne strane i vlasnika Genting Hong Konga s druge strane.
Novi njemački ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck svalio je krivnju za nelikvidnost na pleća krovne azijske tvrtke.
"Vlada je učinila sve kako bi spriječila stečaj MV Werftena i spasila radna mjesta, ali vlasnici su odbili naše ponude pomoći. Rezultat je podnošenje zahtjeva za stečajem", rekao je ministar.
Stečaj je "teška vijest" za zaposlenike i regiju, dodao je Habeck, dodavši da će se savezna i vlade saveznih zemalja uključiti u donošenje odluka o budućnosti kompanija.
Njemačka vlada navodno je pomoć uvjetovala financijskim angažmanom vlasnika, koji je tu mogućnost očito odbio, primjećuje agencija dpa.
Predsjednik Genting Hong Konga Colin Au rekao je nedavno da je njegova tvrtka njemačkoj vladi dostavila četiri ponude za daljnje financiranje MV Werftena, no sve su odbijene.
MV Werften etablirano je ime u regiji, ističe dpa. Kompanija je u proteklih 75 godina isporučila više od 2500 turističkih, logističkih i brodova za istraživanja, a gradili su i plovila specijalno opremljena za plovidbu na području Arktika.
Na njihovim je navozima trenutno veliki kruzer vrijedan 1,5 milijardi eura, čiji dovršetak ovisi o zatvaranju financijske konstrukcije.
Genting Hong Kong je 2016. kupio brodogradilišta u Rostocku, Wismaru i Stralsundu kao način za opskrbu vlastite flote. U to je vrijeme industrija krstarenja bila u procvatu.
Azijska turistička skupina organizira krstarenja pod brendovima Star Cruises, Dream Cruises, Crystal Cruises te Resorts World Manila. Tvrtku podržava Genting Grupa, konglomerat malezijskog kasino magnata i milijardera Lim Kok Thaya.
Genting Hong Kong je pretrpio gubitak od 1,72 milijarde dolara samo u 2020. godini. U prvoj polovini prošle godine gubici su smanjeni na 231 milijun dolara.

Pandemija koronavirusa izazvala je ogromne gubitke u sektoru krstarenja, a kriza se prelila i na brodograditelje, pa su u Njemačkoj dvije tvrtke objavile stečaj u jednom danu. Vlada je poručila da ne planira sjediti prekriženih ruku.
Zahtjev za stečajem objavili su u ponedjeljak graditelj kruzera MV Werften i Lloyd-Werft, specijaliziran za gradnju trajekata i velikih jahti.
Lloyd-Werftu već je dodijeljen stečajni upravitelj.
Sindikati su početak tjedna nazvali „crnim danom” za njemačku brodogradnju.
"Zgroženi smo što je došlo do ovoga", rekao je u ponedjeljak čelnik sindikalne podružnice podružnice IG Metalla Daniel Friedrich.
Objava stečaja označava neuspjeh pregovora njemačke savezne vlade i vlasti savezne zemlje Mecklenburg-Vorpormmern s jedne strane i vlasnika Genting Hong Konga s druge strane.
Novi njemački ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck svalio je krivnju za nelikvidnost na pleća krovne azijske tvrtke.
"Vlada je učinila sve kako bi spriječila stečaj MV Werftena i spasila radna mjesta, ali vlasnici su odbili naše ponude pomoći. Rezultat je podnošenje zahtjeva za stečajem", rekao je ministar.

Njemačka vlada navodno je pomoć uvjetovala financijskim angažmanom vlasnika, koji je tu mogućnost očito odbio, primjećuje agencija dpa.
Predsjednik Genting Hong Konga Colin Au rekao je nedavno da je njegova tvrtka njemačkoj vladi dostavila četiri ponude za daljnje financiranje MV Werftena, no sve su odbijene.
MV Werften etablirano je ime u regiji, ističe dpa. Kompanija je u proteklih 75 godina isporučila više od 2500 turističkih, logističkih i brodova za istraživanja, a gradili su i plovila specijalno opremljena za plovidbu na području Arktika.
Na njihovim je navozima trenutno veliki kruzer vrijedan 1,5 milijardi eura, čiji dovršetak ovisi o zatvaranju financijske konstrukcije.
Genting Hong Kong je 2016. kupio brodogradilišta u Rostocku, Wismaru i Stralsundu kao način za opskrbu vlastite flote. U to je vrijeme industrija krstarenja bila u procvatu.
Azijska turistička skupina organizira krstarenja pod brendovima Star Cruises, Dream Cruises, Crystal Cruises te Resorts World Manila. Tvrtku podržava Genting Grupa, konglomerat malezijskog kasino magnata i milijardera Lim Kok Thaya.
Genting Hong Kong je pretrpio gubitak od 1,72 milijarde dolara samo u 2020. godini. U prvoj polovini prošle godine gubici su smanjeni na 231 milijun dolara.
