U zimu 1997./98. jake oluje poharale su Oregon i odnijele pijesak s plaže kraj Neskowina.

Iz mora su izronili ostaci okamenjenih debala stabala koja su tu davno rasla, sve do razornog zemljotresa koji je srušio prirodnu barijeru duž morske obale.

More je tada navalilo u unutrašnjost i potopilo šumu smreka koje su nestale pod nanosima pijeska.

Njihovi su ostaci, tek pred nešto više od dvadeset godina, provirili iznad površine.

Geolozi procjenjuju da su okamenjena debla na plaži u Neskowinu stara oko dvije tisuće godina.

U zimu 1997./98. jake oluje poharale su Oregon i odnijele pijesak s plaže kraj Neskowina.

Iz mora su izronili ostaci okamenjenih debala stabala koja su tu davno rasla, sve do razornog zemljotresa koji je srušio prirodnu barijeru duž morske obale.

More je tada navalilo u unutrašnjost i potopilo šumu smreka koje su nestale pod nanosima pijeska.

Njihovi su ostaci, tek pred nešto više od dvadeset godina, provirili iznad površine.

Geolozi procjenjuju da su okamenjena debla na plaži u Neskowinu stara oko dvije tisuće godina.

U zimu 1997./98. jake oluje poharale su Oregon i odnijele pijesak s plaže kraj Neskowina.

Iz mora su izronili ostaci okamenjenih debala stabala koja su tu davno rasla, sve do razornog zemljotresa koji je srušio prirodnu barijeru duž morske obale.

More je tada navalilo u unutrašnjost i potopilo šumu smreka koje su nestale pod nanosima pijeska.

Njihovi su ostaci, tek pred nešto više od dvadeset godina, provirili iznad površine.

Geolozi procjenjuju da su okamenjena debla na plaži u Neskowinu stara oko dvije tisuće godina.
