New York Yacht Club American Magic objavio je kako je Garmin, jedan od najinovativnijih i najpriznatijih proizvođača pomorske elektronike na svijetu, postao službeni dobavljač za podršku pripremama NYYC American Magica za njihov 37. izazov America‘s Cupa.

American Magic će imati pristup Garminovom paketu pomorskih proizvoda kako bi maksimizirao performanse na vodi dok se tim fokusira na vraćanje najpoželjnije nagrade u jedrenju kući u Sjedinjene Države.

"Naš tim se sastoji od više od 100 ljudi diljem Newporta, RI, Pensacole, Florida i Barcelone, od kojih svi stalno prate i maksimiziraju učinak u pomorskom sportu. O New York Yacht Clubu

New York Yacht Club osnovan je 1844. godine kada se devet njujorških jedriličara sastalo u njujorškoj luci na jahti Gimcrack Johna Coxa Stevensa. Godinu dana kasnije izgrađena je prva klupska zgrada kluba u Hobokenu, N.J. Godišnja regata kluba prvi put je održana 1846. Klub je bio čuvar kupa Amerike od 1851. do 1983. i organizirao je prvu transatlantsku utrku 1866. Klub održava dvije izvrsne klupske kuće, jednu u 44. ulici u srcu New Yorka, poznatu po Model Roomu i opsežnoj nautičkoj knjižnici. New York Yacht Club American Magic objavio je kako je Garmin, jedan od najinovativnijih i najpriznatijih proizvođača pomorske elektronike na svijetu, postao službeni dobavljač za podršku pripremama NYYC American Magica za njihov 37. izazov America‘s Cupa.
