Bio je to naporan tjedan.

Imao sam puno posla na fakultetu, a to je značilo da sam imao sve manje vremena i volje za otići u ribolov.

Kad je zazvonio alarm, malo je nedostajalo da ga ugasim, okrenem se na drugu stranu i nastavim spavati, ali s obzirom da je bio vikend i da stvarno dugo nisam bio u ribolovu, odlučio sam ne dozvoliti lijenosti da me pokoleba.

Po prognozi je trebala padati kiša, no kad sam pogledao kroz prozor vidio sam da oblaci polako odlaze, a jugo se diže.

Činilo mi se da sunce ne bi trebalo izravno obasjavati površinu mora, što je bio još jedan razlog zašto bi riba mogla dobro gristi.

Uzeo sam kozice koje sam dan prije kupio na ribarnici, i odvezao se na poziciju za veliku komarču.

Znao sam da ih tu ima, jer sam ih uočio dok sam tu ronio ovog ljeta.

To me pomalo frustriralo, jer cijelog ljeta nisam uspio uloviti komarču veću od kilograma. Hvatao sam one manje, ali nedostajala mi je borba i osjećaj malo veće ribe s druge strane udice.

Stigao sam oko sedam sati.

U zraku se osjećao kraj ljeta.

Uvjeti su bili idealni, kao iz udžbenika: velika plima do podne, oblačno poslije kiše, izmjena levanta i juga s prelaskom na jugo u jačanju tijekom dana.

Također je bila i prvi kvarat mjeseca.

Iz iskustva sam znao da i zubatac i velika komarča vole ove uvjete, pogotovo u rujnu.

Odlučio sam upotrijebiti velike udice. Uzeo sam dvije osrednje kozice i čitave ih stavio na udicu.

Zabacio sam najdalje što sam mogao i zategnuo najlon.

Teren je bio ravan i nezgodan: hridi iz kopna protezale su se u more nekih četrdesetak metara, nakon čega ih je zamijenio čisti pijesak.

Odlučio sam ovog puta loviti samo na jedan štap zbog teških uvjeta, tako da se mogu bolje fokusirati.

Naime, zbog vjetra i oblaka, bilo je teže primijetiti kad riba zagrize mamac.

Prvih pola sata nije se događalo ništa, što me začudilo jer sam očekivao dosta sitne ribe po tako vjetrovitom vremenu.

Otišao sam do ruksaka zavezati još jednu udicu, a onda je krenulo.

Riba je naglo skupila kozicu i snažno potegla s role barem četiri do pet metara u dubinu. Odavno mi riba nije povukla ovako žustro i agresivno.

Znao sam da je velika komarča, jer je nakon četiri do pet metara zastala.

Štap mi je bio u ruci, rola otvorena i čekao sam pravi trenutak.

Potegla je još nekoliko metara.

Nisam se odlučio za kontru, jer sam osjećao da se radi o velikoj ribi koja premješta mamac. Ostao sam smiren.

Čekao sam onaj konačan, najsnažniji zagriz.

Nakon nekoliko sekundi mirovanja, i to se dogodilo, zagrizla je najsnažnije dotad, i počela nositi udicu pet, šest i više metara dalje.

U tom trenutku sam odlučio riskirati.

Ili sad, ili nikad.

Čim sam je zakačio, poludjela je.

Postao sam još sigurniji da se radi o velikoj ribi.

Olabavio sam kočnicu na mašini i dozvolio joj da povuče mamac još nekoliko metara, da se malo smiri.

Osjećao sam da je dobro zakačena.

Prvih četrdesetak metara se uopće nisam brinuo.

Polako sam je umarao i privlačio štapom.

Svako nekoliko metara, udarala je snažnu kontru i pokušavala otplivati u dubinu, a ja sam svaki put popuštao najlon.

Kada je došla u hridinasto područje, kako sam je dovlačio bliže, osjećao sam sve veći otpor. Glavom i trbuhom počela je udarati o prepreke u moru.

Malo po malo, ugledao sam je.

Bila je predivna, srebreno-bijelo se presijavala pod oblačnim nebom.

Nasukao sam je u plićak, pa na obalu, i napokon je dohvatio.

Bio je to lijep primjerak, oko dva kilograma.

Tad sam znao da se ustajanje isplatilo.

Koliko god da sam umoran, koliko god da me stisnu druge obaveze, uvijek mi je drago kad odem do mora.

Posebno kada, kao toga dana, budem nagrađen za svoj trud lijepim primjerkom ribe.

Bio je to naporan tjedan.

Imao sam puno posla na fakultetu, a to je značilo da sam imao sve manje vremena i volje za otići u ribolov.

Kad je zazvonio alarm, malo je nedostajalo da ga ugasim, okrenem se na drugu stranu i nastavim spavati, ali s obzirom da je bio vikend i da stvarno dugo nisam bio u ribolovu, odlučio sam ne dozvoliti lijenosti da me pokoleba.

Po prognozi je trebala padati kiša, no kad sam pogledao kroz prozor vidio sam da oblaci polako odlaze, a jugo se diže.

Činilo mi se da sunce ne bi trebalo izravno obasjavati površinu mora, što je bio još jedan razlog zašto bi riba mogla dobro gristi.

Uzeo sam kozice koje sam dan prije kupio na ribarnici, i odvezao se na poziciju za veliku komarču.

Znao sam da ih tu ima, jer sam ih uočio dok sam tu ronio ovog ljeta.

To me pomalo frustriralo, jer cijelog ljeta nisam uspio uloviti komarču veću od kilograma. Hvatao sam one manje, ali nedostajala mi je borba i osjećaj malo veće ribe s druge strane udice.

Stigao sam oko sedam sati.

U zraku se osjećao kraj ljeta.

Uvjeti su bili idealni, kao iz udžbenika: velika plima do podne, oblačno poslije kiše, izmjena levanta i juga s prelaskom na jugo u jačanju tijekom dana.

Također je bila i prvi kvarat mjeseca.

Iz iskustva sam znao da i zubatac i velika komarča vole ove uvjete, pogotovo u rujnu.

Odlučio sam upotrijebiti velike udice. Uzeo sam dvije osrednje kozice i čitave ih stavio na udicu.

Zabacio sam najdalje što sam mogao i zategnuo najlon.

Teren je bio ravan i nezgodan: hridi iz kopna protezale su se u more nekih četrdesetak metara, nakon čega ih je zamijenio čisti pijesak.

Odlučio sam ovog puta loviti samo na jedan štap zbog teških uvjeta, tako da se mogu bolje fokusirati.

Naime, zbog vjetra i oblaka, bilo je teže primijetiti kad riba zagrize mamac.

Prvih pola sata nije se događalo ništa, što me začudilo jer sam očekivao dosta sitne ribe po tako vjetrovitom vremenu.

Otišao sam do ruksaka zavezati još jednu udicu, a onda je krenulo.

Riba je naglo skupila kozicu i snažno potegla s role barem četiri do pet metara u dubinu. Odavno mi riba nije povukla ovako žustro i agresivno.

Znao sam da je velika komarča, jer je nakon četiri do pet metara zastala.

Štap mi je bio u ruci, rola otvorena i čekao sam pravi trenutak.

Potegla je još nekoliko metara.

Nisam se odlučio za kontru, jer sam osjećao da se radi o velikoj ribi koja premješta mamac. Ostao sam smiren.

Čekao sam onaj konačan, najsnažniji zagriz.

Nakon nekoliko sekundi mirovanja, i to se dogodilo, zagrizla je najsnažnije dotad, i počela nositi udicu pet, šest i više metara dalje.

U tom trenutku sam odlučio riskirati.

Ili sad, ili nikad.

Čim sam je zakačio, poludjela je.

Postao sam još sigurniji da se radi o velikoj ribi.

Olabavio sam kočnicu na mašini i dozvolio joj da povuče mamac još nekoliko metara, da se malo smiri.

Osjećao sam da je dobro zakačena.

Prvih četrdesetak metara se uopće nisam brinuo.

Polako sam je umarao i privlačio štapom.

Svako nekoliko metara, udarala je snažnu kontru i pokušavala otplivati u dubinu, a ja sam svaki put popuštao najlon.

Kada je došla u hridinasto područje, kako sam je dovlačio bliže, osjećao sam sve veći otpor. Glavom i trbuhom počela je udarati o prepreke u moru.

Malo po malo, ugledao sam je.

Bila je predivna, srebreno-bijelo se presijavala pod oblačnim nebom.

Nasukao sam je u plićak, pa na obalu, i napokon je dohvatio.

Bio je to lijep primjerak, oko dva kilograma.

Tad sam znao da se ustajanje isplatilo.

Koliko god da sam umoran, koliko god da me stisnu druge obaveze, uvijek mi je drago kad odem do mora.

Posebno kada, kao toga dana, budem nagrađen za svoj trud lijepim primjerkom ribe.
