Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) koji predstavlja Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) i Vlada Novog Zelanda, a zajedno s vijećem grada Aucklanda, donijeli su zaključak vezan uz financiranje i održavanje sljedećeg America's Cupa (AC37), sukladno uspješnoj obrani naslova tima ETNZ-a u Aucklandu na 36. America's Cupu iz ožujka ove godine, javlja Nautica-Portal.

Tijekom tromjesečnog razdoblja pregovora između novozelandskih agencija i ETNZ-a nije se uspjelo doći do zaključka koji bi u potpunosti zadovoljio sve strane. Unatoč suradnji u dogovorima i najboljoj namjeri za usuglašavanjem i osiguravanjem financijske konsktrukcije potrebne za održavanje AC37 u Aucklandu na Novom Zelandu, nije se uspio postići dogovor do isteka predviđenog razdoblja.

Emirates Team New Zealand stoga će započeti razgovore s drugim zemljama kako bi razmotrili ostale opcije vezane uz organiziranje AC37.

„Naravno da kraj predviđenog pregovaračkog razdoblja ne eliminira baš svaku mogućnost domaćinstva na Novom Zelandu, ako se osiguraju predviđeni resursi i omogući da se AC37 održi na Novom Zelandu, ostat ćemo otvoreni za takav ishod, no moramo istražiti i druge mogućnosti kako bismo osigurali još jednu uspješnu obranu naslova. Bez obzira gdje se nalazimo, uvijek ćemo biti tim Novog Zelanda. Prioritet nam je uvijek bio uspješno obraniti i zadržati America's Cup. Svakako želimo istražiti ostale opcije održavanja regate u Aucklandu, ali moramo započeti i s s razgovorom o drugom opcionom mjestu održavanja AC37, jer ćemo možda morati iskoristiti i tu priliku”, rekao je Grant Dalton.

Komodor RNZYS-a Aaron Young rekao je:

„Iako se i dalje nadamo da kup može ostati na Novom Zelandu, bilo bi razborito istražiti i druge mogućnosti, s primarnim ciljem osiguravanja da trofej America's Cupa i nadalje držimo u ormaru našega kluba. Kao takvi također razumijemo potrebu da se pomogne osigurati održivost Emirates Team New Zealanda, tako da zadržimo svaku priliku da ponovno obranimo America's Cup, ma gdje to bilo. Bilo bi neviđeno postignuće osvojiti America's Cup tri puta zaredom, a organizacija kupa negdje u inozemstvu možda bi nam mogla pružiti najbolju šansu za to. Na sinoćnjem sastanku članovima je predstavljena ova opcija i vjerujem da se općenito razumije da bi se ovo moglo dogoditi."

Svakako ćemo pozdraviti bilo koju opciju koja će AC37 dovesti u naše susjedstvo, piše Nautica-Portal.

Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) koji predstavlja Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) i Vlada Novog Zelanda, a zajedno s vijećem grada Aucklanda, donijeli su zaključak vezan uz financiranje i održavanje sljedećeg America's Cupa (AC37), sukladno uspješnoj obrani naslova tima ETNZ-a u Aucklandu na 36. America's Cupu iz ožujka ove godine, javlja Nautica-Portal.

Tijekom tromjesečnog razdoblja pregovora između novozelandskih agencija i ETNZ-a nije se uspjelo doći do zaključka koji bi u potpunosti zadovoljio sve strane. Unatoč suradnji u dogovorima i najboljoj namjeri za usuglašavanjem i osiguravanjem financijske konsktrukcije potrebne za održavanje AC37 u Aucklandu na Novom Zelandu, nije se uspio postići dogovor do isteka predviđenog razdoblja.

Emirates Team New Zealand stoga će započeti razgovore s drugim zemljama kako bi razmotrili ostale opcije vezane uz organiziranje AC37.

„Naravno da kraj predviđenog pregovaračkog razdoblja ne eliminira baš svaku mogućnost domaćinstva na Novom Zelandu, ako se osiguraju predviđeni resursi i omogući da se AC37 održi na Novom Zelandu, ostat ćemo otvoreni za takav ishod, no moramo istražiti i druge mogućnosti kako bismo osigurali još jednu uspješnu obranu naslova. Bez obzira gdje se nalazimo, uvijek ćemo biti tim Novog Zelanda. Prioritet nam je uvijek bio uspješno obraniti i zadržati America's Cup. Svakako želimo istražiti ostale opcije održavanja regate u Aucklandu, ali moramo započeti i s s razgovorom o drugom opcionom mjestu održavanja AC37, jer ćemo možda morati iskoristiti i tu priliku”, rekao je Grant Dalton.

„Iako se i dalje nadamo da kup može ostati na Novom Zelandu, bilo bi razborito istražiti i druge mogućnosti, s primarnim ciljem osiguravanja da trofej America's Cupa i nadalje držimo u ormaru našega kluba. Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) koji predstavlja Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) i Vlada Novog Zelanda, a zajedno s vijećem grada Aucklanda, donijeli su zaključak vezan uz financiranje i održavanje sljedećeg America's Cupa (AC37), sukladno uspješnoj obrani naslova tima ETNZ-a u Aucklandu na 36. America's Cupu iz ožujka ove godine, javlja Nautica-Portal.

Tijekom tromjesečnog razdoblja pregovora između novozelandskih agencija i ETNZ-a nije se uspjelo doći do zaključka koji bi u potpunosti zadovoljio sve strane. Unatoč suradnji u dogovorima i najboljoj namjeri za usuglašavanjem i osiguravanjem financijske konsktrukcije potrebne za održavanje AC37 u Aucklandu na Novom Zelandu, nije se uspio postići dogovor do isteka predviđenog razdoblja.

Emirates Team New Zealand stoga će započeti razgovore s drugim zemljama kako bi razmotrili ostale opcije vezane uz organiziranje AC37.

„Naravno da kraj predviđenog pregovaračkog razdoblja ne eliminira baš svaku mogućnost domaćinstva na Novom Zelandu, ako se osiguraju predviđeni resursi i omogući da se AC37 održi na Novom Zelandu, ostat ćemo otvoreni za takav ishod, no moramo istražiti i druge mogućnosti kako bismo osigurali još jednu uspješnu obranu naslova. Bez obzira gdje se nalazimo, uvijek ćemo biti tim Novog Zelanda. Prioritet nam je uvijek bio uspješno obraniti i zadržati America's Cup. Svakako želimo istražiti ostale opcije održavanja regate u Aucklandu, ali moramo započeti i s s razgovorom o drugom opcionom mjestu održavanja AC37, jer ćemo možda morati iskoristiti i tu priliku”, rekao je Grant Dalton.

Komodor RNZYS-a Aaron Young rekao je:

„Iako se i dalje nadamo da kup može ostati na Novom Zelandu, bilo bi razborito istražiti i druge mogućnosti, s primarnim ciljem osiguravanja da trofej America's Cupa i nadalje držimo u ormaru našega kluba. Kao takvi također razumijemo potrebu da se pomogne osigurati održivost Emirates Team New Zealanda, tako da zadržimo svaku priliku da ponovno obranimo America's Cup, ma gdje to bilo. Bilo bi neviđeno postignuće osvojiti America's Cup tri puta zaredom, a organizacija kupa negdje u inozemstvu možda bi nam mogla pružiti najbolju šansu za to. Na sinoćnjem sastanku članovima je predstavljena ova opcija i vjerujem da se općenito razumije da bi se ovo moglo dogoditi."
