Magla na moru kod nas nije česta pojava i mnogi je nikada nisu ni doživjeli, pa lokalna iskustva u plovidbi ili boravku na moru po magli nisu velika. Nenaviknuti na te uvjete, oni koji ne moraju isploviti uglavnom ostanu privezani i čekaju da se magla raziđe, a to je svima možda i najbolji savjet.

Međutim, može se dogoditi da vam se magla pojavi na ruti kojom plovite ili iz nekog neodgodivog razloga morate isploviti. Kao i u svakoj drugoj plovidbi, i ovdje su dva osnovna cilja, sigurno stići na odredište i izbjeći sudar s drugim plovilom, samo su okolnosti znatno teže.

Odsustvo vjetra

Magla obično traje kratko, a ako nastane preko noći, tijekom jutra se raziđe. Višednevne magle na moru kod nas su gotovo nepoznate. Visina stupa magle nad morem gotovo nikad nije velika, a često zna biti i samo nekoliko desetaka metara. Ima situacija u kojima se jasno vidi nebo ili vrh jarbola susjednog broda, a horizontalno se jedva nazire svoj pramac.

Anticiklona i tiho vrijeme bez vjetra osnovna su dva faktora za nastanak magle, a raziđe se ili podigne u oblak već pri vjetru od pet čvorova. Dakle, za trajanja magle more je mirno.

U ovim uvjetima najbitnije je potruditi se da budete što uočljiviji, da na vrijeme možete uočiti eventualna plovila oko vas i da znate gdje ste. Nikako se ne oslanjajte na to da su sva plovila oko vas opremljena punom opremom i da će oni vas sigurno primijetiti, niti računajte s tim da svi kormilari razumiju u kakvoj se situaciji nalaze. Ipak, poduzmite sve da vas se što lakše može uočiti.

Novim pravilnikom, brodice za gospodarsku i javnu namjenu, kao i sve brodice koje plove brzinom većom od 20 čvorova, te one koje plove manjom brzinom u područjima plovidbe III i naviše, moraju biti opremljene radar reflektorom. Ako vam radar reflektor nije već postavljen, obvezno ga dignite, a ako ih imate dva, podignite ih oba, radi bolje refleksije jedan uz drugi.

Nadalje, Međunarodna pravila o izbjegavanju sudara na moru nalažu da pri smanjenoj vidljivosti moraju biti upaljena i navigacijska svjetla. Pripremite i ručni reflektor kako biste ga eventualno usmjerili prema brodu u blizini i tako dodatno privukli njegovu pažnju. Elektronički navigacijski uređaji mogu biti od velike pomoći, ali se mogu i ugasiti, pa bi bilo dobro da poziciju pratite i na karti.

Termokamera se u ovim uvjetima pokazala dosta praktičnom, a za razliku od pljuska, magla joj nimalo ne smeta i slika je dosta jasna. Sva spomenuta sredstva ipak su samo pomoćni alati koji će svakako biti od velike pomoći, ali najpouzdaniji alat još uvijek je dobar sluh.

Velika količina vlage u zraku povećava njegovu gustoću i zvuk se prenosi puno jasnije i dalje nego pri normalnim atmosferskim prilikama, a kako nema vjetra ili je vrlo slab, smjer iz kojeg zvuk dolazi da se dosta točno odrediti, pa čak i ljudski glas.

Nedvosmisleni manevri

Udaljite se od plovnog puta gdje je frekventan komercijalni promet i pri svakoj sumnjivoj situaciji smanjite brzinu ili stanite. Računajte s tim da vas netko možda prati na ekranu i prema vašoj plovidbi planira mimoilaženje, pa ne zbunjujte čestim mijenjanjem kursa. Ako morate promijeniti kurs, radite to u najmanje rizičnoj situaciji, i to jednom i naglašeno, tako da im vaš manevar bude jasan i nedvosmislen. U ovim okolnostima oštra su skretanja ulijevo malo rizična.

Plovite sigurnom brzinom, a definicija kaže kako je to brzina pri kojoj plovilo može sigurno ploviti, manevrirati i zaustaviti se na udaljenosti koju zahtijevaju lokalne prilike i uvjeti. Dakle, to je brzina pri kojoj se možete zaustaviti i stati na polovini udaljenosti od plovila koje će eventualno ploviti prema vama, a u ovom slučaju to je polovina vidljivosti.

Prema Pravilu 35. Međunarodnih pravila o izbjegavanju sudara na moru, potrebno je davati i zvučne signale, u plovidbi u intervalu ne manjem od dvije minute, a usidrena plovila svaku minutu. Ako nemate sirenu ili rog za maglu, dobro će poslužiti i zvonjava metalnim posuđem. Bez obzira na sve mjere opreza, ova situacija može biti dosta rizična i dobro je da svi ukrcani, pa i oni u potpalublju, nose pojaseve za spašavanje.

Ipak, a naročito ako ste potpuno nespremni da uplovite u maglu, sidrenje u obližnjoj sigurnoj uvali i čekanje da se magla raziđe još uvijek je najbolja opcija.

Magla na moru kod nas nije česta pojava i mnogi je nikada nisu ni doživjeli, pa lokalna iskustva u plovidbi ili boravku na moru po magli nisu velika. Nenaviknuti na te uvjete, oni koji ne moraju isploviti uglavnom ostanu privezani i čekaju da se magla raziđe, a to je svima možda i najbolji savjet.

Međutim, može se dogoditi da vam se magla pojavi na ruti kojom plovite ili iz nekog neodgodivog razloga morate isploviti. Kao i u svakoj drugoj plovidbi, i ovdje su dva osnovna cilja, sigurno stići na odredište i izbjeći sudar s drugim plovilom, samo su okolnosti znatno teže.

Odsustvo vjetra

Magla obično traje kratko, a ako nastane preko noći, tijekom jutra se raziđe. Višednevne magle na moru kod nas su gotovo nepoznate. Visina stupa magle nad morem gotovo nikad nije velika, a često zna biti i samo nekoliko desetaka metara. Ima situacija u kojima se jasno vidi nebo ili vrh jarbola susjednog broda, a horizontalno se jedva nazire svoj pramac.

Anticiklona i tiho vrijeme bez vjetra osnovna su dva faktora za nastanak magle, a raziđe se ili podigne u oblak već pri vjetru od pet čvorova. Dakle, za trajanja magle more je mirno.

U ovim uvjetima najbitnije je potruditi se da budete što uočljiviji, da na vrijeme možete uočiti eventualna plovila oko vas i da znate gdje ste. Nikako se ne oslanjajte na to da su sva plovila oko vas opremljena punom opremom i da će oni vas sigurno primijetiti, niti računajte s tim da svi kormilari razumiju u kakvoj se situaciji nalaze. Ipak, poduzmite sve da vas se što lakše može uočiti.

Novim pravilnikom, brodice za gospodarsku i javnu namjenu, kao i sve brodice koje plove brzinom većom od 20 čvorova, te one koje plove manjom brzinom u područjima plovidbe III i naviše, moraju biti opremljene radar reflektorom. Ako vam radar reflektor nije već postavljen, obvezno ga dignite, a ako ih imate dva, podignite ih oba, radi bolje refleksije jedan uz drugi.

Nadalje, Međunarodna pravila o izbjegavanju sudara na moru nalažu da pri smanjenoj vidljivosti moraju biti upaljena i navigacijska svjetla. Pripremite i ručni reflektor kako biste ga eventualno usmjerili prema brodu u blizini i tako dodatno privukli njegovu pažnju. Elektronički navigacijski uređaji mogu biti od velike pomoći, ali se mogu i ugasiti, pa bi bilo dobro da poziciju pratite i na karti.

Termokamera se u ovim uvjetima pokazala dosta praktičnom, a za razliku od pljuska, magla joj nimalo ne smeta i slika je dosta jasna. Sva spomenuta sredstva ipak su samo pomoćni alati koji će svakako biti od velike pomoći, ali najpouzdaniji alat još uvijek je dobar sluh.

Velika količina vlage u zraku povećava njegovu gustoću i zvuk se prenosi puno jasnije i dalje nego pri normalnim atmosferskim prilikama, a kako nema vjetra ili je vrlo slab, smjer iz kojeg zvuk dolazi da se dosta točno odrediti, pa čak i ljudski glas.

Nedvosmisleni manevri

Udaljite se od plovnog puta gdje je frekventan komercijalni promet i pri svakoj sumnjivoj situaciji smanjite brzinu ili stanite. Računajte s tim da vas netko možda prati na ekranu i prema vašoj plovidbi planira mimoilaženje, pa ne zbunjujte čestim mijenjanjem kursa. Ako morate promijeniti kurs, radite to u najmanje rizičnoj situaciji, i to jednom i naglašeno, tako da im vaš manevar bude jasan i nedvosmislen. U ovim okolnostima oštra su skretanja ulijevo malo rizična.

Plovite sigurnom brzinom, a definicija kaže kako je to brzina pri kojoj plovilo može sigurno ploviti, manevrirati i zaustaviti se na udaljenosti koju zahtijevaju lokalne prilike i uvjeti. Dakle, to je brzina pri kojoj se možete zaustaviti i stati na polovini udaljenosti od plovila koje će eventualno ploviti prema vama, a u ovom slučaju to je polovina vidljivosti.

Prema Pravilu 35. Međunarodnih pravila o izbjegavanju sudara na moru, potrebno je davati i zvučne signale, u plovidbi u intervalu ne manjem od dvije minute, a usidrena plovila svaku minutu. Ako nemate sirenu ili rog za maglu, dobro će poslužiti i zvonjava metalnim posuđem. Bez obzira na sve mjere opreza, ova situacija može biti dosta rizična i dobro je da svi ukrcani, pa i oni u potpalublju, nose pojaseve za spašavanje.

Ipak, a naročito ako ste potpuno nespremni da uplovite u maglu, sidrenje u obližnjoj sigurnoj uvali i čekanje da se magla raziđe još uvijek je najbolja opcija.
