Prvi rezultati modnog utjecaja Jill Biden pokazali su se i prije nego što je supruga izabranog američkog predsjednika Joea ušla u Bijelu kuću kao prva dama.

Proteklih godina navikli smo na "efekt" britanskih kraljevskih jetrva, vojvotkinje Kate i Meghan Markle, čije su brojne odjevne kombinacije nevjerojatnom brzinom nestajale iz trgovina, ali i Jill Biden je pokazala kako će njezini odabiri imati takav utjecaj.

Naime, haljina brenda Oscar de la Renta, koju je 69-godišnja dr. Jill nosila na pozornici u Wilmingtonu u Delawareu kad je njezin suprug održao pobjednički govor, rasprodana je u roku od nekoliko sati.

Haljina čija je originalna cijena bila 5690 dolara bila je ponuđena na outlet stranici "The Outnet" modne kuće Oscar de la Renta kad je buduća prva dama u njoj izišla na pozornicu, i to po cijeni od 1707 dolara. Premda ni to nije jeftino, žene koje žele oponašati stil nove "gazdarice" Bijele kuće, požurile su u kupnju i haljina je vrlo brzo rasprodana.

'Znak nade'

Iz kuće Oscar de la Renta objavili su fotografiju na kojoj kreatori dovršavaju prilagođavanje haljine kako bi savršeno odgovarala dr. Biden. Ponoćnoplava drapirana haljina ukrašena je cvjetnim vezom za koji u modnoj kući kažu da je znak nade.

Odabir brenda u čijoj će se kreaciji pojaviti u tom važnom trenutku šalje i političku poruku jer su haljinu kreirali Fernando Garcia i Laura Kim, koji su oboje emigrirali u SAD i učili od Oscara de la Rente, koji je i sam bio emigrant iz Dominikanske Republike.

Jill Biden je obećala da će u Bijeloj kući prezentirati "svakodnevnu" modu, što će biti veliki odmak od ultraispoliranog stila Melanije Trump. Na nedavnom virtualnom obraćanju demokratskoj konvenciji iz srednje škole u kojoj je nekad predavala, Jill Biden je nosila jednostavnu zelenu košulju/haljinu teksaškog dizajnera Brandona Maxwella.

Oscar de la Renta je odavno jedan od favorita američkih prvih dama, pa se odabirom haljine njegove modne kuće dr. Jill svrstala uz svoje prethodnice Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, Lauru Bush i Michelle Obama.

Prije smrti u listopadu 2014. godine, slavni je kreator odijevao svaku prvu damu od Jackie do Michelle, a nekima je, poput Nancy i Hillary, bio i blizak prijatelj i pouzdanik. Favorit prvih dama postao je početkom šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kad je Jackie odjenula njegovu haljinu boje breskve tijekom službenog posjeta Indiji sa suprugom, predsjednikom Johnom F. Kennedyjem.

De la Renta je dizajnirao i vjenčanicu Hillaryne i Billove kćeri Chelsea Clinton za vjenčanje s Marcom Mezvinskym u kolovozu 2010. godine, dvije godine nakon što se Jenna, kćerka predsjednika Georgea W. Busha, također udala u njegovoj kreaciji. I Ivanka Trump je nekoliko puta odabrala dizajne modne kuće Oscar de la Renta za službene prigode tijekom predsjedničkog mandata svog oca Donalda.

Prvi rezultati modnog utjecaja Jill Biden pokazali su se i prije nego što je supruga izabranog američkog predsjednika Joea ušla u Bijelu kuću kao prva dama.

Proteklih godina navikli smo na "efekt" britanskih kraljevskih jetrva, vojvotkinje Kate i Meghan Markle, čije su brojne odjevne kombinacije nevjerojatnom brzinom nestajale iz trgovina, ali i Jill Biden je pokazala kako će njezini odabiri imati takav utjecaj.

Naime, haljina brenda Oscar de la Renta, koju je 69-godišnja dr. Jill nosila na pozornici u Wilmingtonu u Delawareu kad je njezin suprug održao pobjednički govor, rasprodana je u roku od nekoliko sati.

Haljina čija je originalna cijena bila 5690 dolara bila je ponuđena na outlet stranici "The Outnet" modne kuće Oscar de la Renta kad je buduća prva dama u njoj izišla na pozornicu, i to po cijeni od 1707 dolara. Premda ni to nije jeftino, žene koje žele oponašati stil nove "gazdarice" Bijele kuće, požurile su u kupnju i haljina je vrlo brzo rasprodana.

'Znak nade'

Iz kuće Oscar de la Renta objavili su fotografiju na kojoj kreatori dovršavaju prilagođavanje haljine kako bi savršeno odgovarala dr. Biden. Ponoćnoplava drapirana haljina ukrašena je cvjetnim vezom za koji u modnoj kući kažu da je znak nade.

Odabir brenda u čijoj će se kreaciji pojaviti u tom važnom trenutku šalje i političku poruku jer su haljinu kreirali Fernando Garcia i Laura Kim, koji su oboje emigrirali u SAD i učili od Oscara de la Rente, koji je i sam bio emigrant iz Dominikanske Republike.

Jill Biden je obećala da će u Bijeloj kući prezentirati "svakodnevnu" modu, što će biti veliki odmak od ultraispoliranog stila Melanije Trump. Na nedavnom virtualnom obraćanju demokratskoj konvenciji iz srednje škole u kojoj je nekad predavala, Jill Biden je nosila jednostavnu zelenu košulju/haljinu teksaškog dizajnera Brandona Maxwella.

Oscar de la Renta je odavno jedan od favorita američkih prvih dama, pa se odabirom haljine njegove modne kuće dr. Jill svrstala uz svoje prethodnice Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, Lauru Bush i Michelle Obama.

Prije smrti u listopadu 2014. godine, slavni je kreator odijevao svaku prvu damu od Jackie do Michelle, a nekima je, poput Nancy i Hillary, bio i blizak prijatelj i pouzdanik. Favorit prvih dama postao je početkom šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kad je Jackie odjenula njegovu haljinu boje breskve tijekom službenog posjeta Indiji sa suprugom, predsjednikom Johnom F. Kennedyjem.

De la Renta je dizajnirao i vjenčanicu Hillaryne i Billove kćeri Chelsea Clinton za vjenčanje s Marcom Mezvinskym u kolovozu 2010. godine, dvije godine nakon što se Jenna, kćerka predsjednika Georgea W. Busha, također udala u njegovoj kreaciji. I Ivanka Trump je nekoliko puta odabrala dizajne modne kuće Oscar de la Renta za službene prigode tijekom predsjedničkog mandata svog oca Donalda.
