Sat Duc d'Orleans Breguet Sympathique aukcijska kuća Sotheby's bila procijenila je na više od pet milijuna dolara.

Sat je posljednji put na aukciji prodan 1999. kada ga je Time Museum uz Rockforda prodao za 5.777.500 dolara, rekordnih u to doba, a bio je naajtraktvniji primjerak na Sothebysovoj aukciji satova ovoga tjedna u New Yorku.

Ukupno je Sotheby's postigao također rekordan iznos u prodaji satova od 11,7 milijuna dolara.

Aukcijska kuća nije imenovala kupca ali je rekla da je to privatni muzej.

Rijetki Sympathique satovi pomogli su učvršćivanju slave francuskog urara Abraham-Loiusa Bregueta, rekao je Sotheby's u izjavi.

Sat je visok gotovo 60 centimetara i jedan od dvanaestak Sympathique satova za koje se zna da postoje. Breguetove satove naručivali su ruska i španjolska kraljevska kuća, Napoleon i britanski kralj George IV.

Sat Duc d'Orleans Breguet Sympathique aukcijska kuća Sotheby's bila procijenila je na više od pet milijuna dolara.

Sat je posljednji put na aukciji prodan 1999. kada ga je Time Museum uz Rockforda prodao za 5.777.500 dolara, rekordnih u to doba, a bio je naajtraktvniji primjerak na Sothebysovoj aukciji satova ovoga tjedna u New Yorku.

Ukupno je Sotheby's postigao također rekordan iznos u prodaji satova od 11,7 milijuna dolara.

Aukcijska kuća nije imenovala kupca ali je rekla da je to privatni muzej.

Rijetki Sympathique satovi pomogli su učvršćivanju slave francuskog urara Abraham-Loiusa Bregueta, rekao je Sotheby's u izjavi.

Sat je visok gotovo 60 centimetara i jedan od dvanaestak Sympathique satova za koje se zna da postoje. Breguetove satove naručivali su ruska i španjolska kraljevska kuća, Napoleon i britanski kralj George IV.

Francuski sat izrađen 1835. godine prodan je u utorak na aukciji za 6,8 milijuna dolara što je najviša cijena plaćena za neki sat na aukcijama.
