Lauren Canaday je doživjela srčani zastoj u veljači 2023., prilikom čega joj je srce prestalo kucati. Nakon 24 minute su je oživjeli. Svoje iskustvo onoga što je vidjela i osjetila podijelila je s novinarima Mirrora. 

Lazarov učinak, ili medicinskim izrazom autoreanimacija, je kada netko tko je proglašen mrtvim od srčanog zastoja iznenada pokazuje znakove života, i može se dogoditi u roku od deset minuta od reanimacije. Nevjerojatno je rijedak, a liječnici još uvijek ne znaju točan uzrok fenomena.

Većina ljudi koji to dožive često ne požive dugo nakon ‘povratka‘. Zapravo, prema klinici Cleveland, od 65 dokumentiranih slučajeva od 1982. do 2018., samo 18 ljudi potpuno se oporavilo.

Lauren Canaday "umrla" je na 24 minute. 

- Doživjela sam iznenadni srčani zastoj kod kuće. Suprug je nazvao hitnu i započeo s oživljavanjem. Hitnoj pomoći trebale su 24 minute da me reanimiraju. Nakon devet dana na odjelu intenzivne njege, proglašeno je da sam ‘kognitivno netaknuta‘ i nemam vidljiva oštećenja mozga na magnetskoj rezonanci - ispričala je.

- Probudila sam se, bila sam vrlo zbunjena zbog intubacije i nisam imala nikakvo kratkoročno pamćenje još nekoliko dana. Nikada nisam povratila sjećanje na tjedan prije ili na većinu vremena na intenzivnoj njezi i ne sjećam se otprilike mjesec dana prije zastoja - dodala je.

- Sjećam se samo osjećaja krajnjeg mira koji mi iskreno jako nedostaje! Taj mir me je pratio nekoliko tjedana nakon buđenja - prisjetila se. 

- Nisam vidjela svjetlo ni tunel, ali sam imala dubok osjećaj mira. Zapravo se vraćam na mjesto na katu svog ureda gdje se to dogodilo kad sam pod stresom...čudno, ali istinito. Definitivno se više ne bojim smrti, unatoč tome što ne vidim ništa jasno čega bih se mogla sjetiti.

Osjećam da je vrlo tanka linija između života i smrti i iako sam zahvalna što imam više vremena s prijateljima/obitelji, više se ne brinem zbog smrti. Puno više me brine bol koju često doživljavam u životu. Osjećam se kao da je moj prvi život završio u veljači i da sam se probudila u svom drugom životu.

Ljudi misle da sam dobro jer mogu ponovno hodati, pa čak i planinariti i možda ne znaju da imam defibrilator u tijelu. Ali, kad mi ljudi kažu da izgledam dobro/bolje, to mi je jezivo jer ne osjećam se kao ista osoba i uvijek sam svjesna tog iskustva - zaključila je.

Lauren Canaday je doživjela srčani zastoj u veljači 2023., prilikom čega joj je srce prestalo kucati. Nakon 24 minute su je oživjeli. Svoje iskustvo onoga što je vidjela i osjetila podijelila je s novinarima Mirrora. 

Lazarov učinak, ili medicinskim izrazom autoreanimacija, je kada netko tko je proglašen mrtvim od srčanog zastoja iznenada pokazuje znakove života, i može se dogoditi u roku od deset minuta od reanimacije. Nevjerojatno je rijedak, a liječnici još uvijek ne znaju točan uzrok fenomena.

Većina ljudi koji to dožive često ne požive dugo nakon ‘povratka‘. Zapravo, prema klinici Cleveland, od 65 dokumentiranih slučajeva od 1982. do 2018., samo 18 ljudi potpuno se oporavilo.

Lauren Canaday "umrla" je na 24 minute. 

- Doživjela sam iznenadni srčani zastoj kod kuće. Suprug je nazvao hitnu i započeo s oživljavanjem. Hitnoj pomoći trebale su 24 minute da me reanimiraju. Nakon devet dana na odjelu intenzivne njege, proglašeno je da sam ‘kognitivno netaknuta‘ i nemam vidljiva oštećenja mozga na magnetskoj rezonanci - ispričala je.

- Probudila sam se, bila sam vrlo zbunjena zbog intubacije i nisam imala nikakvo kratkoročno pamćenje još nekoliko dana. Nikada nisam povratila sjećanje na tjedan prije ili na većinu vremena na intenzivnoj njezi i ne sjećam se otprilike mjesec dana prije zastoja - dodala je.

- Sjećam se samo osjećaja krajnjeg mira koji mi iskreno jako nedostaje! Taj mir me je pratio nekoliko tjedana nakon buđenja - prisjetila se. 

- Nisam vidjela svjetlo ni tunel, ali sam imala dubok osjećaj mira. Zapravo se vraćam na mjesto na katu svog ureda gdje se to dogodilo kad sam pod stresom...čudno, ali istinito. Definitivno se više ne bojim smrti, unatoč tome što ne vidim ništa jasno čega bih se mogla sjetiti.

Osjećam da je vrlo tanka linija između života i smrti i iako sam zahvalna što imam više vremena s prijateljima/obitelji, više se ne brinem zbog smrti. Puno više me brine bol koju često doživljavam u životu. Osjećam se kao da je moj prvi život završio u veljači i da sam se probudila u svom drugom životu.

Ljudi misle da sam dobro jer mogu ponovno hodati, pa čak i planinariti i možda ne znaju da imam defibrilator u tijelu. Ali, kad mi ljudi kažu da izgledam dobro/bolje, to mi je jezivo jer ne osjećam se kao ista osoba i uvijek sam svjesna tog iskustva - zaključila je.

Lauren Canaday je doživjela srčani zastoj u veljači 2023., prilikom čega joj je srce prestalo kucati. Nakon 24 minute su je oživjeli. Svoje iskustvo onoga što je vidjela i osjetila podijelila je s novinarima Mirrora. 

Lazarov učinak, ili medicinskim izrazom autoreanimacija, je kada netko tko je proglašen mrtvim od srčanog zastoja iznenada pokazuje znakove života, i može se dogoditi u roku od deset minuta od reanimacije. Nevjerojatno je rijedak, a liječnici još uvijek ne znaju točan uzrok fenomena.

Većina ljudi koji to dožive često ne požive dugo nakon ‘povratka‘. Zapravo, prema klinici Cleveland, od 65 dokumentiranih slučajeva od 1982. do 2018., samo 18 ljudi potpuno se oporavilo.

Lauren Canaday "umrla" je na 24 minute. 

- Doživjela sam iznenadni srčani zastoj kod kuće. Suprug je nazvao hitnu i započeo s oživljavanjem. Hitnoj pomoći trebale su 24 minute da me reanimiraju.
