Bolesti imaju različita lica i mijenjaju ponašanje oboljelih.
Otac dvoje djece Sean Turner (38) ostao je u potpunom čudu nakon što je saznao da je njegovo "agresivno ponašanje" u krevetu zapravo znak teške bolesti - tumora na mozgu.
Iako se poslije posla osjećao umorno, u krevetu sa suprugom dobio je nalet energije i znatno povećan libido.
"Premda umoran cijelo vrijeme, bio sam stvarno vatren i agresivan", rekao je on ističući da je to ponašanje bilo u suprotnosti s njegovom tipičnom osobnošću, koja je obično vrlo mirna. I ne samo to, Turner je počeo gubiti vid i njuh. Njegova supruga ubrzo je zakazala očni pregled, nakon čega je otkriće anomalije potaknulo daljnja skeniranja koja su otkrila masu veličine naranče na mozgu Britanca, piše Mondo.

Turneru je 2014. godine službeno dijagnosticiran tumor na mozgu koji, uz sljepoću, može uzrokovati niz promjena u ponašanju pacijenta. To uključuje promjene raspoloženja, agresiju i ponašanje na društveno ili kulturno neprihvatljive načine, kažu stručnjaci. Srećom, Turneru je iste godine tumor uklonjen, ali i dalje ide na redovite kontrole kako bi pratio svoje zdravlje. Također, u njegovoj obiteljskoj povijesti bilo je slučajeva raka.
Dr. Danica Grujičić govorila je o promjenama u ponašanju pacijenata oboljelih od tumora mozga: "Tko ne poznaje bolesnika, vjerojatno ne može primijetiti simptome. Promjene u ponašanju najčešće su vrlo diskretne i primjećuje ih samo netko tko jako dobro poznaje bolesnika. Ovo nije prvi put da tumor na mozgu uzrokuje alarmantne neurološke simptome. Neuroznanstvenica Barbara Lipska je u lipnju 2015., dok je primala imunoterapiju za rak mozga, bila uvjerena da je pizza za van koju je jela napravljena od plastike, piše Mondo.
Prema tome, nagle i drastične promjene u ponašanju mogu biti alarm za ozbiljniju bolest.

Bolesti imaju različita lica i mijenjaju ponašanje oboljelih.
Otac dvoje djece Sean Turner (38) ostao je u potpunom čudu nakon što je saznao da je njegovo "agresivno ponašanje" u krevetu zapravo znak teške bolesti - tumora na mozgu.
Iako se poslije posla osjećao umorno, u krevetu sa suprugom dobio je nalet energije i znatno povećan libido.
"Premda umoran cijelo vrijeme, bio sam stvarno vatren i agresivan", rekao je on ističući da je to ponašanje bilo u suprotnosti s njegovom tipičnom osobnošću, koja je obično vrlo mirna. I ne samo to, Turner je počeo gubiti vid i njuh. Njegova supruga ubrzo je zakazala očni pregled, nakon čega je otkriće anomalije potaknulo daljnja skeniranja koja su otkrila masu veličine naranče na mozgu Britanca, piše Mondo.

Turneru je 2014. godine službeno dijagnosticiran tumor na mozgu koji, uz sljepoću, može uzrokovati niz promjena u ponašanju pacijenta. To uključuje promjene raspoloženja, agresiju i ponašanje na društveno ili kulturno neprihvatljive načine, kažu stručnjaci. Srećom, Turneru je iste godine tumor uklonjen, ali i dalje ide na redovite kontrole kako bi pratio svoje zdravlje. Također, u njegovoj obiteljskoj povijesti bilo je slučajeva raka.
Dr. Danica Grujičić govorila je o promjenama u ponašanju pacijenata oboljelih od tumora mozga: "Tko ne poznaje bolesnika, vjerojatno ne može primijetiti simptome. Promjene u ponašanju najčešće su vrlo diskretne i primjećuje ih samo netko tko jako dobro poznaje bolesnika. To je najuža obitelj, a općenito u liječenju tumora mozga obitelj ima jako veliku ulogu", rekla je liječnica

Ovo nije prvi put da tumor na mozgu uzrokuje alarmantne neurološke simptome. Neuroznanstvenica Barbara Lipska je u lipnju 2015., dok je primala imunoterapiju za rak mozga, bila uvjerena da je pizza za van koju je jela napravljena od plastike, piše Mondo.
Prema tome, nagle i drastične promjene u ponašanju mogu biti alarm za ozbiljniju bolest.
