Najsimpatičniji krzneni prognostičar, svizac Phil iz Punxsutawneya, predvidio je da bi hladnom vremenu i snježnim oborinama uskoro mogao doći kraj, ali nije ni njemu sve za povjerovati. Naime, Phil je bio precizan samo oko 40 posto prognoza u proteklih 100 godina. Što se tiče prošlog desetljeća, Phil je bio u pravu samo tri puta i to 2014., 2016. i 2020. godine, prema Nacionalnim centrima za informacije o okolišu.

Planetarno popularan svizac Phil nije uspio vidjeti svoju sjenu kada je naglo probuđen iz sna u Gobbler‘s Knobu u zapadnoj Pennsylvaniji u petak, 2. veljače, rano ujutro, javljaju američki mediji.  Da ju je vidio, to bi značilo još šest sedmica zime.

Ipak, Philova netočna predviđanja nisu odvratila vjerne obožavatelje od okupljanja u Gobbler‘s Knobu svake godine, kada se radi simpatičnog krznenog prognostičara ondje okupi više od 20.000 ljudi.

Godišnji ritual datira iz 1887. godine, prema Punxsutawney Groundhog Clubu. Svoje porijeklo ima u blagdanu Svijećnice 2. veljače, kad su kršćani nosili svijeće u crkvu na blagoslov.

Popularna engleska narodna pjesma kaže da će zima biti dulja ako vrijeme na Svijećnicu bude suho i vedro.

Dan svisca prvi se put spominje u lokalnom listu Punxsutawneyja 1886.

"Sljedeće godine obilježen je prvi službeni događaj u Gobbler‘s Knobu", rekli su organizatori.

Sada se više od 20.000 obožavatelja okuplja svake godine na mjestu kako bi ugledali izvanrednog vremenskog proroka dok daje svoje godišnje predviđanje.

Najsimpatičniji krzneni prognostičar, svizac Phil iz Punxsutawneya, predvidio je da bi hladnom vremenu i snježnim oborinama uskoro mogao doći kraj, ali nije ni njemu sve za povjerovati. Naime, Phil je bio precizan samo oko 40 posto prognoza u proteklih 100 godina. Što se tiče prošlog desetljeća, Phil je bio u pravu samo tri puta i to 2014., 2016. i 2020. godine, prema Nacionalnim centrima za informacije o okolišu.

Planetarno popularan svizac Phil nije uspio vidjeti svoju sjenu kada je naglo probuđen iz sna u Gobbler‘s Knobu u zapadnoj Pennsylvaniji u petak, 2. veljače, rano ujutro, javljaju američki mediji.  Da ju je vidio, to bi značilo još šest sedmica zime.

Ipak, Philova netočna predviđanja nisu odvratila vjerne obožavatelje od okupljanja u Gobbler‘s Knobu svake godine, kada se radi simpatičnog krznenog prognostičara ondje okupi više od 20.000 ljudi.

Godišnji ritual datira iz 1887. godine, prema Punxsutawney Groundhog Clubu. Svoje porijeklo ima u blagdanu Svijećnice 2. veljače, kad su kršćani nosili svijeće u crkvu na blagoslov.

Popularna engleska narodna pjesma kaže da će zima biti dulja ako vrijeme na Svijećnicu bude suho i vedro.

Dan svisca prvi se put spominje u lokalnom listu Punxsutawneyja 1886.

"Sljedeće godine obilježen je prvi službeni događaj u Gobbler‘s Knobu", rekli su organizatori.

Svizac Phil je i ove godine predvidio kakvo nas proljeće čeka, uzmite sve sa rezervom jer nije dobar prognostičar

Najsimpatičniji krzneni prognostičar, svizac Phil iz Punxsutawneya, predvidio je da bi hladnom vremenu i snježnim oborinama uskoro mogao doći kraj, ali nije ni njemu sve za povjerovati. Naime, Phil je bio precizan samo oko 40 posto prognoza u proteklih 100 godina. Što se tiče prošlog desetljeća, Phil je bio u pravu samo tri puta i to 2014., 2016. i 2020. godine, prema Nacionalnim centrima za informacije o okolišu.

Planetarno popularan svizac Phil nije uspio vidjeti svoju sjenu kada je naglo probuđen iz sna u Gobbler‘s Knobu u zapadnoj Pennsylvaniji u petak, 2. veljače, rano ujutro, javljaju američki mediji.  Da ju je vidio, to bi značilo još šest sedmica zime.

Ipak, Philova netočna predviđanja nisu odvratila vjerne obožavatelje od okupljanja u Gobbler‘s Knobu svake godine, kada se radi simpatičnog krznenog prognostičara ondje okupi više od 20.000 ljudi.

Godišnji ritual datira iz 1887. godine, prema Punxsutawney Groundhog Clubu. Svoje porijeklo ima u blagdanu Svijećnice 2. veljače, kad su kršćani nosili svijeće u crkvu na blagoslov.

Popularna engleska narodna pjesma kaže da će zima biti dulja ako vrijeme na Svijećnicu bude suho i vedro.

Dan svisca prvi se put spominje u lokalnom listu Punxsutawneyja 1886.

"Sljedeće godine obilježen je prvi službeni događaj u Gobbler‘s Knobu", rekli su organizatori.

Sada se više od 20.000 obožavatelja okuplja svake godine na mjestu kako bi ugledali izvanrednog vremenskog proroka dok daje svoje godišnje predviđanje.
