Bivši kraljevski časnik za zaštitu, Richard Griffin, nedavno je s javnosti podijelio jednu od najboljih anegdota o kraljici Elizabeti II. koja se i dan-danas prepričava, piše Jutarnji list.
Naime, on se u lipnju u razgovoru za Sky News prisjetio trenutka kad je kraljica susrela dvoje američkih turista dok se šetala svojim škotskim imanjem - i iako je definitivno bila jedna od najpoznatijih osoba u svijetu, dotični dvojac, vjerovali ili ne, nije imao pojma tko je ona!

- Bila je u šetnji oko dvorca Balmoral u Aberdeenshireu u Škotskoj, odjevena u tvid i s maramom oko glave. Naišla su ta dva planinara, išli su prema nama, a kraljica je, kao i uvijek, stala i pozdravila ih. Bilo je jasno da je ti Amerikanci uopće nisu prepoznali, što je bilo sasvim u redu.
Jedan je pitao Elizabetu živi li u okolici, na što mu je ona odgovorila kako ima kuću u blizini. Rekla mu je da inače živi u Londonu, ali da ovdje ima kuću odmah iza brda. Amerikanca je zanimalo i koliko često dolazi ovamo. ‘Više od 80 godina‘, pohvalila se Elizabeta, a dotični planinar oduševljeno se nadovezao: ‘Pa onda ste sigurno sreli kraljicu?!‘.

---A ona mu je rekla: ‘Pa nisam, ali ovaj čovjek se ovdje redovito sastaje s njom‘. Pa me tip pitao kakva je kraljica.
‘Ponekad zna biti vrlo zajedljiva, ali ima divan smisao za humor‘, rekao sam mu, znao sam da se mogu ovako našaliti jer sam s kraljicom proveo puno godina.

Taj muškarac tad mi je prišao, stavio mi ruku oko ramena, dao svoj fotoaparat kraljici i zamolio je da nas fotografira! Na kraju smo zamijenili mjesta, ja sam njih fotografirao s kraljicom, mahnuli smo im i srdačno se pozdravili. Onda mi je Njezino Veličanstvo reklo kako bi voljela biti muha na zidu kad Amerikanci pokažu te fotografije svojim američkim prijateljima!
‘Nadam se da će mu netko reći tko sam ja‘, zaključila je na kraju, piše Jutarnji list.

Naime, on se u lipnju u razgovoru za Sky News prisjetio trenutka kad je kraljica susrela dvoje američkih turista dok se šetala svojim škotskim imanjem - i iako je definitivno bila jedna od najpoznatijih osoba u svijetu, dotični dvojac, vjerovali ili ne, nije imao pojma tko je ona!

- Bila je u šetnji oko dvorca Balmoral u Aberdeenshireu u Škotskoj, odjevena u tvid i s maramom oko glave. Naišla su ta dva planinara, išli su prema nama, a kraljica je, kao i uvijek, stala i pozdravila ih. Bilo je jasno da je ti Amerikanci uopće nisu prepoznali, što je bilo sasvim u redu.
Jedan je pitao Elizabetu živi li u okolici, na što mu je ona odgovorila kako ima kuću u blizini. Rekla mu je da inače živi u Londonu, ali da ovdje ima kuću odmah iza brda. Amerikanca je zanimalo i koliko često dolazi ovamo. ‘Više od 80 godina‘, pohvalila se Elizabeta, a dotični planinar oduševljeno se nadovezao: ‘Pa onda ste sigurno sreli kraljicu?!‘.

---A ona mu je rekla: ‘Pa nisam, ali ovaj čovjek se ovdje redovito sastaje s njom‘. Pa me tip pitao kakva je kraljica.
‘Ponekad zna biti vrlo zajedljiva, ali ima divan smisao za humor‘, rekao sam mu, znao sam da se mogu ovako našaliti jer sam s kraljicom proveo puno godina.

Taj muškarac tad mi je prišao, stavio mi ruku oko ramena, dao svoj fotoaparat kraljici i zamolio je da nas fotografira! Na kraju smo zamijenili mjesta, ja sam njih fotografirao s kraljicom, mahnuli smo im i srdačno se pozdravili. Onda mi je Njezino Veličanstvo reklo kako bi voljela biti muha na zidu kad Amerikanci pokažu te fotografije svojim američkim prijateljima!
