Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenskij je kasno navečer 24. veljače 2022., svega 15-ak sati nakon što je Rusija započela invaziju na njegovu zemlju, pronašao vremena i primio američkog glumca Sean Penna, što se može vidjeti u njegovom filmu "Superpower" premijerno prikazanom u petak u Berlinu.

Zelenskij je sjedeći u praznoj sobi bez prozora nagađao o motivima ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina za invaziju.

"Želi da budemo mrtvi. Mrzi Ukrajinu. Mrzi nas", rekao je Zelenskij o ruskom predsjedniku u središnjoj sceni dokumentarnog filma "Superpower" o ukrajinskom vođi, koji je u petak prikazan na međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Berlinu.

Film, koji su režirali Penn i Aaron Kaufman, započinje nekoliko mjeseci prije invazije, a Penn je nadahnuće za film našao u prijelasku kolege glumca Zelenskija s filmskog seta u ured predsjednika. Invazija je potom dramatično povećala značaj filma i pretvorila Penna u strastvenog zagovornika Ukrajine.

Ukrajina se u borbi protiv ruske invazije "bori umjesto svih nas", rekao je Penn publici na premijeri filma.

Film je producirao kanadsko-američki časopis Vice, a sniman je izbliza i "iz ruke", u stilu interaktivnog dokumentarca koji je popularizirala ta medijska organizacija i prikazuje Pennove napore da razumije Ukrajinu, njenog predsjednika i njenu borbu.

Penn i Kaufmann u filmu podupiru američko naoružavanje Ukrajine i time pokazuju da je Zelenskijeva odluka da ih primi na prvi dan invazije bila vješt potez u ukrajinskom informacijskom ratu.

"Ako ne pobijedimo danas, tad će Amerikanci voditi ratove za nekoliko godina", rekao je Zelenskij Pennu u kasnijem intervjuu, upozorivši da bi poraz Ukrajine imao dalekosežne posljedice.

Putinove snage su nakon gotovo godinu dana invazije još uvijek u Ukrajini, pojačavaju napade na istoku u sklopu onoga što Moskva naziva "posebnom vojnom operacijom", u kojoj su smrtno stradale tisuće ljudi, a raseljeni milijuni.

Kamera gledatelje neugodno približava smrti i krvoproliću koje su za sobom ostavili ruski vojnici pri povlačenju, a film je iskren kada su u pitanju ograničenja za zvijezdu Hollywooda usred ratnog stanja.

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenskij je kasno navečer 24. veljače 2022., svega 15-ak sati nakon što je Rusija započela invaziju na njegovu zemlju, pronašao vremena i primio američkog glumca Sean Penna, što se može vidjeti u njegovom filmu "Superpower" premijerno prikazanom u petak u Berlinu.

Zelenskij je sjedeći u praznoj sobi bez prozora nagađao o motivima ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina za invaziju.

"Želi da budemo mrtvi. Mrzi Ukrajinu. Mrzi nas", rekao je Zelenskij o ruskom predsjedniku u središnjoj sceni dokumentarnog filma "Superpower" o ukrajinskom vođi, koji je u petak prikazan na međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Berlinu.

Film, koji su režirali Penn i Aaron Kaufman, započinje nekoliko mjeseci prije invazije, a Penn je nadahnuće za film našao u prijelasku kolege glumca Zelenskija s filmskog seta u ured predsjednika. Invazija je potom dramatično povećala značaj filma i pretvorila Penna u strastvenog zagovornika Ukrajine.

Ukrajina se u borbi protiv ruske invazije "bori umjesto svih nas", rekao je Penn publici na premijeri filma.

Film je producirao kanadsko-američki časopis Vice, a sniman je izbliza i "iz ruke", u stilu interaktivnog dokumentarca koji je popularizirala ta medijska organizacija i prikazuje Pennove napore da razumije Ukrajinu, njenog predsjednika i njenu borbu.

Penn i Kaufmann u filmu podupiru američko naoružavanje Ukrajine i time pokazuju da je Zelenskijeva odluka da ih primi na prvi dan invazije bila vješt potez u ukrajinskom informacijskom ratu.

"Ako ne pobijedimo danas, tad će Amerikanci voditi ratove za nekoliko godina", rekao je Zelenskij Pennu u kasnijem intervjuu, upozorivši da bi poraz Ukrajine imao dalekosežne posljedice.

Putinove snage su nakon gotovo godinu dana invazije još uvijek u Ukrajini, pojačavaju napade na istoku u sklopu onoga što Moskva naziva "posebnom vojnom operacijom", u kojoj su smrtno stradale tisuće ljudi, a raseljeni milijuni.

Kamera gledatelje neugodno približava smrti i krvoproliću koje su za sobom ostavili ruski vojnici pri povlačenju, a film je iskren kada su u pitanju ograničenja za zvijezdu Hollywooda usred ratnog stanja.

"Mogu li biti otvoren?", čuje se kako na filmu govori jedan od tjelohranitelja.

"Vi ste Sean Penn. Nitko neće biti odgovoran za Vašu smrt na bojišnici"
