Britanski Telegraph proveo je opsežno istraživanje s ciljem da utvrdi koji su otoci na Mediteranu najbolja odredišta za ljetni godišnji odmor. Željeli su utvrditi koji otoci čine savršenu ravnotežu između luksuzne ponude, lijepih plaža, sunčanog vremena i finih restorana.

Priznaju kako to nije bio lak zadatak, a nakon što su među 10.000 otoka i otočića suzili izbor na njih samo 50 analizirali su podatke u ukupno 28 kategorija u četiri glavna područja: povijest i kultura, prirodne ljepote, vremenske prilike i luksuz. Na listi su se našle popularne destinacije poput Mallorce i Krete, ali i neki, kako piše Telegraph, manje poznatih otoka poput Mljeta i grčkog Simija, piše Jutarnji list. 

Uzeli su u obzir iskustvene parametre kao što su hoteli s pet zvjezdica, muzeji i restorani s Michelin zvjezdicama, plus PADI centre za ronjenje i povijesne građevine. Proučavali su i vremenske prilike poput temperature mora, količine oborina i prosječne ljetne temperature.

Ističu da je ‘utrka‘ bila napeta, ali da je jedan otok izašao kao jasni pobjednik. Riječ je o Siciliji, na kojoj se nalazi sedam lokacija s popisa UNESCO-ve svjetske baštine, ima golemi podrum nagrađivanih vina, obilje netaknutih plaža te ponajbolje europske hotele.

Cipar je na drugom mjestu, slijede Sardinija, Korzika, Malta, Santorini, sedma je Kreta, na 8. mjestu Mallorca, deveta je Ibiza, a 10. Kefalonija u Grčkoj.

Između ostalog se navodi da Sicilija posjetiteljima nudi 538 muzeja, i sedam lokacija s popisa svjetske baštine, uključujući drevni Agrigento i vulkan Etna. Ima 334 plaže i 1150 kilometara dugačku obalu za istraživanje. Napominju da je Sicilija, u kategoriji vremenskih prilika zauzela 40. mjesto, zbog puno kiše i nešto nižih ljetnih temperatura, ali da to nije priječilo talijanski biser da završi na vrhu ljestvice.

Većina kriterija mjerila se po kvadratnom metru ili glavi stanovnika.

Među prvih 10, jasno je, nema nijednog hrvatskog otoka. Najbolje rangirani hrvatski otok je Hvar (23.), zatim slijede Korčula (30.) i Brač (32.). Krk je na 37. mjestu.

Na dnu ljestvice je hrvatski otok Cres. Unatoč tomu što je uz Krk jedan od najvećih naših otoka, osvojio je samo 15,3% dostupnih bodova. Na dnu ljestvice su Pag i Mljet, uz grčke otoke Ikariju, Ithacu, Kalymnos, Skyros, Simi i Lemnos, tunisku Djerbu te tursku Gökçeadu.

Telegraph napominje da se svaki od ovih deset otoka s dna ljestvice našao s razlogom u užem izboru, no nisu imali šanse protiv visoko podignute ljestvice povijesnih znamenitosti, prirodnih čuda i luksuzne privlačnosti drugih otoka. Dodaju kako će skromnija ponuda tih otoka (a time i manje turista) nekima biti više privlačna.

U posebnom okviru Telegraph spominje Cres. Što nedostaje Cresu? Apsolutno ništa, osim luksuznih hotela i restorana s Michelin zvjezdicom, ističe Telegraph. Naglašava da je riječ o otoku izvan radara za prosječnog turista, ali da je među Hrvatima omiljen zbog netaknutog krajolika i ukusne janjetine. Osobito ističu konobu Bukaleta u Loznatima. Navode šarm gada Cresa, Osorske glazbene večeri, te prekrasnu šljunčanu plažu ispod sela Lubenice.

Iako Hvar nije dobro prošao na ukupnoj rang listi, dobio je dobre ocjene u sektoru povijest i kultura zbog činjenice da je cijeli otok pod zaštitom UNESCO-a, kako piše britanski list. Podsjetimo, šest lokacija na Hvaru je na popisu zaštićene svjetske baštine. Na istoj listi i Korčula je završila među prvih 10, piše Jutarnji list.

Britanski Telegraph proveo je opsežno istraživanje s ciljem da utvrdi koji su otoci na Mediteranu najbolja odredišta za ljetni godišnji odmor. Željeli su utvrditi koji otoci čine savršenu ravnotežu između luksuzne ponude, lijepih plaža, sunčanog vremena i finih restorana.

Priznaju kako to nije bio lak zadatak, a nakon što su među 10.000 otoka i otočića suzili izbor na njih samo 50 analizirali su podatke u ukupno 28 kategorija u četiri glavna područja: povijest i kultura, prirodne ljepote, vremenske prilike i luksuz. Na listi su se našle popularne destinacije poput Mallorce i Krete, ali i neki, kako piše Telegraph, manje poznatih otoka poput Mljeta i grčkog Simija, piše Jutarnji list. 

Uzeli su u obzir iskustvene parametre kao što su hoteli s pet zvjezdica, muzeji i restorani s Michelin zvjezdicama, plus PADI centre za ronjenje i povijesne građevine. Proučavali su i vremenske prilike poput temperature mora, količine oborina i prosječne ljetne temperature.

Ističu da je ‘utrka‘ bila napeta, ali da je jedan otok izašao kao jasni pobjednik. Riječ je o Siciliji, na kojoj se nalazi sedam lokacija s popisa UNESCO-ve svjetske baštine, ima golemi podrum nagrađivanih vina, obilje netaknutih plaža te ponajbolje europske hotele.

- Sicilija je definicija mediteranskog stila, piše Telegraph.

Cipar je na drugom mjestu, slijede Sardinija, Korzika, Malta, Santorini, sedma je Kreta, na 8. mjestu Mallorca, deveta je Ibiza, a 10. Kefalonija u Grčkoj.

Između ostalog se navodi da Sicilija posjetiteljima nudi 538 muzeja, i sedam lokacija s popisa svjetske baštine, uključujući drevni Agrigento i vulkan Etna. Ima 334 plaže i 1150 kilometara dugačku obalu za istraživanje. Napominju da je Sicilija, u kategoriji vremenskih prilika zauzela 40. mjesto, zbog puno kiše i nešto nižih ljetnih temperatura, ali da to nije priječilo talijanski biser da završi na vrhu ljestvice.

Većina kriterija mjerila se po kvadratnom metru ili glavi stanovnika.

Među prvih 10, jasno je, nema nijednog hrvatskog otoka. Najbolje rangirani hrvatski otok je Hvar (23.), zatim slijede Korčula (30.) i Brač (32.). Krk je na 37. mjestu.

Na dnu ljestvice je hrvatski otok Cres. Unatoč tomu što je uz Krk jedan od najvećih naših otoka, osvojio je samo 15,3% dostupnih bodova. Na dnu ljestvice su Pag i Mljet, uz grčke otoke Ikariju, Ithacu, Kalymnos, Skyros, Simi i Lemnos, tunisku Djerbu te tursku Gökçeadu.

Telegraph napominje da se svaki od ovih deset otoka s dna ljestvice našao s razlogom u užem izboru, no nisu imali šanse protiv visoko podignute ljestvice povijesnih znamenitosti, prirodnih čuda i luksuzne privlačnosti drugih otoka. Dodaju kako će skromnija ponuda tih otoka (a time i manje turista) nekima biti više privlačna.

U posebnom okviru Telegraph spominje Cres. Što nedostaje Cresu? Apsolutno ništa, osim luksuznih hotela i restorana s Michelin zvjezdicom, ističe Telegraph. Naglašava da je riječ o otoku izvan radara za prosječnog turista, ali da je među Hrvatima omiljen zbog netaknutog krajolika i ukusne janjetine. Osobito ističu konobu Bukaleta u Loznatima. Navode šarm gada Cresa, Osorske glazbene večeri, te prekrasnu šljunčanu plažu ispod sela Lubenice.

Iako Hvar nije dobro prošao na ukupnoj rang listi, dobio je dobre ocjene u sektoru povijest i kultura zbog činjenice da je cijeli otok pod zaštitom UNESCO-a, kako piše britanski list. Podsjetimo, šest lokacija na Hvaru je na popisu zaštićene svjetske baštine. Na istoj listi i Korčula je završila među prvih 10, piše Jutarnji list.

Istraživanje proglasilo najbolje otoke Mediterana, od hrvatskih ni traga, ni glasa: ‘Što im fali? Samo jedno...‘

Britanski Telegraph proveo je opsežno istraživanje s ciljem da utvrdi koji su otoci na Mediteranu najbolja odredišta za ljetni godišnji odmor. Željeli su utvrditi koji otoci čine savršenu ravnotežu između luksuzne ponude, lijepih plaža, sunčanog vremena i finih restorana.

Priznaju kako to nije bio lak zadatak, a nakon što su među 10.000 otoka i otočića suzili izbor na njih samo 50 analizirali su podatke u ukupno 28 kategorija u četiri glavna područja: povijest i kultura, prirodne ljepote, vremenske prilike i luksuz. Na listi su se našle popularne destinacije poput Mallorce i Krete, ali i neki, kako piše Telegraph, manje poznatih otoka poput Mljeta i grčkog Simija, piše Jutarnji list.
