To, uz ostalo što još Splitu treba, znaju i prosječni konzumenti glazbenih događanja u gradu koji pretendira biti Europska prijestolnica kulture, ali kad to kaže Ivo Pogorelić samo dan nakon svoga koncerta, radi kojeg je iz Zagreba dopremljen glasovir marke Steinway, onda stvar dobiva na težini i uvjerljivosti.

Splitski HNK, kao što je poznato, ima dva klavira, oba marke Bosendorfer, od kojih je jedan vrlo star, a drugi je nabavljen prije 12 godina akcijom Rotary kluba.

- Da bi Split mogao biti domaćin pijanistima svjetske, najviše klase, potreban mu je i instrument te vrhunske klase - kazao nam je maestro Pogorelić u nedjelju ujutro na kavi koju smo popili na Rivi, gdje je poznati umjetnik razgledao brodove izložene na sajmu Croatia Boat Show.

Upravo tamo, na jednom od brodova, Pogorelić je sastavio pismo gradonačelniku Željku Kerumu, kojim mu je predložio da se pobrine da Split nabavi upravo glasovir tvrtke Steinway u Hamburgu koji, kako napominje Pogorelić, košta 115 tisuća eura, s PDV-om i troškovima prijevoza. Budući da je večer prije Ivo Pogorelić, po vlastitoj želji, upoznao gradonačelnika Keruma nakon svoga pijanističkog recitala, logično je bilo pomisliti da su upravo o klaviru i razgovarali.

- Ne - kategorično je kazao maestro.

- Nismo uopće o tome razgovarali. To je uostalom bio vrlo kratak susret. Ideja mi je pala na pamet ujutro i držim da je prikladno da je u formi pisma predstavim gospodinu gradonačelniku.

“Sugestija koju imam za Vaš grad je kupnja koncertnog klavira podobnog po marki i veličini klaviru na kojem sam svirao na koncertu 20. travnja u Splitu”, kaže se, među ostalim, u dopisu koji je Ivo Pogorelić potpisao tog jutra, malo prije odlaska iz grada.

“Kupnjom takvog klavira osigurali biste umjetnicima visoke klase uvjete za javne nastupe u Splitu te pružili svojim sugrađanima užitak u više prilika u budućnosti”, navodi se u pismu.

Pogorelić preporučuje Kerumu da pridobije imućne građane da, uz ljubav prema glazbi, pokažu i ljubav prema gradu te zajednički prikupe novac za nabavu klavira Steinway.

Dakako da smo upitali maestra hoće li, u slučaju da njegova ideja naiđe na podršku, njegov osobni doprinos ostvarenju vlastite inicijative ostati samo na pismu Željku Kerumu.

- O tom potom - kazao je maestro.

Nismo imali srca kazati maestru Pogoreliću da Split nema ni koncertnu dvoranu, kamoli klavir Steinway, da će prije koncertne dvorane dobiti križ na Marjanu i kip Franje Tuđmana na Rivi, ali - i o tom potom. Uostalom, ako odnekud treba početi, možda inicijativu Ive Pogorelića treba prihvatiti kao svojevrsni kamen temeljac za neku buduću dvoranu i neki budući Split s više istinskog “šika”.

To, uz ostalo što još Splitu treba, znaju i prosječni konzumenti glazbenih događanja u gradu koji pretendira biti Europska prijestolnica kulture, ali kad to kaže Ivo Pogorelić samo dan nakon svoga koncerta, radi kojeg je iz Zagreba dopremljen glasovir marke Steinway, onda stvar dobiva na težini i uvjerljivosti.

Splitski HNK, kao što je poznato, ima dva klavira, oba marke Bosendorfer, od kojih je jedan vrlo star, a drugi je nabavljen prije 12 godina akcijom Rotary kluba.

- Da bi Split mogao biti domaćin pijanistima svjetske, najviše klase, potreban mu je i instrument te vrhunske klase - kazao nam je maestro Pogorelić u nedjelju ujutro na kavi koju smo popili na Rivi, gdje je poznati umjetnik razgledao brodove izložene na sajmu Croatia Boat Show.

Upravo tamo, na jednom od brodova, Pogorelić je sastavio pismo gradonačelniku Željku Kerumu, kojim mu je predložio da se pobrine da Split nabavi upravo glasovir tvrtke Steinway u Hamburgu koji, kako napominje Pogorelić, košta 115 tisuća eura, s PDV-om i troškovima prijevoza. Budući da je večer prije Ivo Pogorelić, po vlastitoj želji, upoznao gradonačelnika Keruma nakon svoga pijanističkog recitala, logično je bilo pomisliti da su upravo o klaviru i razgovarali.

- Ne - kategorično je kazao maestro.

- Nismo uopće o tome razgovarali. To je uostalom bio vrlo kratak susret. Ideja mi je pala na pamet ujutro i držim da je prikladno da je u formi pisma predstavim gospodinu gradonačelniku.

“Sugestija koju imam za Vaš grad je kupnja koncertnog klavira podobnog po marki i veličini klaviru na kojem sam svirao na koncertu 20. travnja u Splitu”, kaže se, među ostalim, u dopisu koji je Ivo Pogorelić potpisao tog jutra, malo prije odlaska iz grada.

“Kupnjom takvog klavira osigurali biste umjetnicima visoke klase uvjete za javne nastupe u Splitu te pružili svojim sugrađanima užitak u više prilika u budućnosti”, navodi se u pismu.

Pogorelić preporučuje Kerumu da pridobije imućne građane da, uz ljubav prema glazbi, pokažu i ljubav prema gradu te zajednički prikupe novac za nabavu klavira Steinway.

Dakako da smo upitali maestra hoće li, u slučaju da njegova ideja naiđe na podršku, njegov osobni doprinos ostvarenju vlastite inicijative ostati samo na pismu Željku Kerumu.

- O tom potom - kazao je maestro.

Nismo imali srca kazati maestru Pogoreliću da Split nema ni koncertnu dvoranu, kamoli klavir Steinway, da će prije koncertne dvorane dobiti križ na Marjanu i kip Franje Tuđmana na Rivi, ali - i o tom potom. Uostalom, ako odnekud treba početi, možda inicijativu Ive Pogorelića treba prihvatiti kao svojevrsni kamen temeljac za neku buduću dvoranu i neki budući Split s više istinskog “šika”.
