U velikoj diskontnoj knjižari na splitskim Gripama, koja se preuzetno naziva Mediteranski (!) festival (!!) knjige, ministrica kulture je okupljenim piscima, urednicima i izdavačima održala lekciju. I neka je. Drugo nisu ni zaslužili. Ljudi od pera odavno to više nisu, jer gotovo svi, ili barem većina, pišu na računalima. Smijemo li zbog toga reći da su postali ljudi od miša, naime, od kuražnosti kakvu demonstriraju ovi plahi glodavci? Prosudite sami, ali mi prije svega dopustite da vas uputim u potankosti ministričine pobjede u gostima. 

Prije nekoliko dana šačica splitskih autora elektroničkom je poštom pozvana na panel koji će se održati u sklopu MFK-a, a na kojemu će sudjelovati i gospođa Nina Obuljen-Koržinek. Pismom smo obaviješteni kako je tema ovog programa Zakon o jeziku, a da se od nas očekuje ministrici postavljati pitanja na koja će ona ljubazno koliko i meritorno odgovarati. Panel je - zna to i svako dijete, a kako tek neće znati ljudi od knjige - diskusija ili rasprava. Postavljanje pitanja i dobivanje odgovora nije čak ni razgovor. To je uvijek i samo ispit, znanja ili lojalnosti, svejedno, u kojemu je onaj tko postavlja pitanja u podređenom položaju, jer nema znanja ili informacije kojima raspolaže onaj tko odgovara. 

Ne znam koliko je široka javnost s tim upoznata, ali pisci nisu konzultirani prilikom sastavljanja Zakona o jeziku. Oba nacionalna udruženja ljudi od pera (ili miša) uredno su ignorirana jer je, valjda, nekome u vrhovima vlasti normalno donositi zbirke normativnih, obvezujućih stručnih propisa, ne mareći što struka o tome ima reći. Tome se i ne treba čuditi znamo li da lijep broj pisaca, volio bih vjerovati da se radi o većini, čvrsto stoji na stajalištu da je takav zakon suvišan i apsolutno nepotreban, a da iza njega stoji šovinistički predumišljaj i gola potreba za purifikacijom jezika od istočnih infekcija. Od nas se, dakle, tražilo da samom svojom prisutnošću pružimo demokratsku legitimaciju oktroiranom zakonu, da budemo smokvin list kojim će Ministarstvo kulture zakloniti činjenicu da je ono bez ikakve javne i stručne rasprave pripremilo politikantski akt čiji smisao nije zaštita jezika (uostalom, tko to na njega atakira pa da ga treba zakonom braniti?), nego njegovo škopljenje.

Iz meni nepoznatih razloga koji, pretpostavljam, imaju veze s pameću ili s moralom, neki među nama bili su na visini ministričinih očekivanja, pa su se pozivu odazvali. Ona, pak, nije propustila priliku, čitam u izvještajima s panela (koji to dvostruko nije, ni smislom, ni duhom hrvatskog jezika, jer se radi o latinizmu koji je do nas došao uz ljubazno posredovanje Engleza), čak se i narugati jednom kolegi. Ponavljam se, i neka je,

Obrazovanjem violinistica, s pozicija struke koja nije njezina, jer filologija nije solfeggio, očitala je lekciju nestručnim piscima, urednicima i izdavačima. Premda to nije izrijekom kazala, i potkapacitirani su mogli shvatiti ključnu intenciju autora zakona: hrvatski jezik čist je i dobar samo ako ga govornik drži za zubima. Ako je suditi po splitskom primjeru, ne mora se plašiti, jezik će većinski ležati iza mišjih sjekutića.

U velikoj diskontnoj knjižari na splitskim Gripama, koja se preuzetno naziva Mediteranski (!) festival (!!) knjige, ministrica kulture je okupljenim piscima, urednicima i izdavačima održala lekciju. I neka je. Drugo nisu ni zaslužili. Ljudi od pera odavno to više nisu, jer gotovo svi, ili barem većina, pišu na računalima. Smijemo li zbog toga reći da su postali ljudi od miša, naime, od kuražnosti kakvu demonstriraju ovi plahi glodavci? Prosudite sami, ali mi prije svega dopustite da vas uputim u potankosti ministričine pobjede u gostima. 

Prije nekoliko dana šačica splitskih autora elektroničkom je poštom pozvana na panel koji će se održati u sklopu MFK-a, a na kojemu će sudjelovati i gospođa Nina Obuljen-Koržinek. Pismom smo obaviješteni kako je tema ovog programa Zakon o jeziku, a da se od nas očekuje ministrici postavljati pitanja na koja će ona ljubazno koliko i meritorno odgovarati. Panel je - zna to i svako dijete, a kako tek neće znati ljudi od knjige - diskusija ili rasprava. Postavljanje pitanja i dobivanje odgovora nije čak ni razgovor. To je uvijek i samo ispit, znanja ili lojalnosti, svejedno, u kojemu je onaj tko postavlja pitanja u podređenom položaju, jer nema znanja ili informacije kojima raspolaže onaj tko odgovara. 

Ne znam koliko je široka javnost s tim upoznata, ali pisci nisu konzultirani prilikom sastavljanja Zakona o jeziku. Oba nacionalna udruženja ljudi od pera (ili miša) uredno su ignorirana jer je, valjda, nekome u vrhovima vlasti normalno donositi zbirke normativnih, obvezujućih stručnih propisa, ne mareći što struka o tome ima reći. Tome se i ne treba čuditi znamo li da lijep broj pisaca, volio bih vjerovati da se radi o većini, čvrsto stoji na stajalištu da je takav zakon suvišan i apsolutno nepotreban, a da iza njega stoji šovinistički predumišljaj i gola potreba za purifikacijom jezika od istočnih infekcija. Od nas se, dakle, tražilo da samom svojom prisutnošću pružimo demokratsku legitimaciju oktroiranom zakonu, da budemo smokvin list kojim će Ministarstvo kulture zakloniti činjenicu da je ono bez ikakve javne i stručne rasprave pripremilo politikantski akt čiji smisao nije zaštita jezika (uostalom, tko to na njega atakira pa da ga treba zakonom braniti?), nego njegovo škopljenje.

Iz meni nepoznatih razloga koji, pretpostavljam, imaju veze s pameću ili s moralom, neki među nama bili su na visini ministričinih očekivanja, pa su se pozivu odazvali. Ona, pak, nije propustila priliku, čitam u izvještajima s panela (koji to dvostruko nije, ni smislom, ni duhom hrvatskog jezika, jer se radi o latinizmu koji je do nas došao uz ljubazno posredovanje Engleza), čak se i narugati jednom kolegi. Ponavljam se, i neka je,

Obrazovanjem violinistica, s pozicija struke koja nije njezina, jer filologija nije solfeggio, očitala je lekciju nestručnim piscima, urednicima i izdavačima. Premda to nije izrijekom kazala, i potkapacitirani su mogli shvatiti ključnu intenciju autora zakona: hrvatski jezik čist je i dobar samo ako ga govornik drži za zubima. Ako je suditi po splitskom primjeru, ne mora se plašiti, jezik će većinski ležati iza mišjih sjekutića.

U velikoj diskontnoj knjižari na splitskim Gripama, koja se preuzetno naziva Mediteranski (!) festival (!!) knjige, ministrica kulture je okupljenim piscima, urednicima i izdavačima održala lekciju. I neka je. Drugo nisu ni zaslužili. Ljudi od pera odavno to više nisu, jer gotovo svi, ili barem većina, pišu na računalima. Smijemo li zbog toga reći da su postali ljudi od miša, naime, od kuražnosti kakvu demonstriraju ovi plahi glodavci? Prosudite sami, ali mi prije svega dopustite da vas uputim u potankosti ministričine pobjede u gostima. 

Prije nekoliko dana šačica splitskih autora elektroničkom je poštom pozvana na panel koji će se održati u sklopu MFK-a, a na kojemu će sudjelovati i gospođa Nina Obuljen-Koržinek. Pismom smo obaviješteni kako je tema ovog programa ...
