Dan utemeljenja Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora je 10. rujna, te su tim povodom u Osnovnoj školi Cavtat gostovale 3 generacije vaterpolista nositelja olimpijskih odličja s predsjednikom Vaterpolo kluba Cavtat Gašparom Butiganom.

Gosti su bili najbolji vratar svijeta Luko Vezilić, nositelj srebrne medalje iz Moskve 1980. godine, vaterpolist Juga i reprezentativac, sportski direktor VK Jug Goran Sukno sa zlatnom olimpijskom medaljom iz Los Angelesa 1984., te Maro Balić nositelj zlatne olimpijske medalje iz Atlante 1996. godine. Svi su oni jedan drugom bili uzori kao i onima koji su se ispričali jer danas nisu mogli biti na događaju, a to su Miho Bošković i Paulo Obradović.

- Druženje je započelo i završilo uz cavtatsku himnu vaterpolu Od Ferala sve do ponte ne dajemo nikom konte… Učenici su pripremili pitanja te se iz odgovora potvrdilo da je bilo koji sport važan i koristan, te su gotovo svi učenici u dvorani podigli ruku da i sami treniraju. Učenicima je naglašeno da je škola vrlo važna i da treba biti na prvom mjestu, a onda i sport uz što više tjelesne kulture u školi. Vrijeme je bilo kratko za nabrojiti sve uspjehe, rezultate, odličja i priznanja naših sugovornika koje su zaslužili kroz svoje sportsko djelovanje. Urezuje se u sjećanje i rečenica koju je izrekao gospodin Sukno da je ‘bubicu‘ da će jednom biti olimpijac odredio kao svoj cilj još u desetoj godini te je potaknuo učenike da i oni tako odrede, a s jakom motivacijom i ciljem stižu i medalje. Spomenuli smo brojne bivše učenike naše škole i entuzijastične trenere cavtatskog kluba koji su i u drugim područjima života uspješni. Njihovi sportski rezultati zadužili su Hrvatsku te će se o svim ovim talentima ostati zauvijek zapamćeni i zapisani u povijesti sporta. Naši sugovornici su se izvrsno snašli u razgovoru s učenicima napustivši svoju jutarnju rutinu, iz zone komfora podno skalina svetoga Nikole čime smo bili iznimno počašćeni i ovim se putem još jednom zahvaljujemo, ističu iz OŠ Cavtat.

Dan utemeljenja Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora je 10. rujna, te su tim povodom u Osnovnoj školi Cavtat gostovale 3 generacije vaterpolista nositelja olimpijskih odličja s predsjednikom Vaterpolo kluba Cavtat Gašparom Butiganom.

Gosti su bili najbolji vratar svijeta Luko Vezilić, nositelj srebrne medalje iz Moskve 1980. godine, vaterpolist Juga i reprezentativac, sportski direktor VK Jug Goran Sukno sa zlatnom olimpijskom medaljom iz Los Angelesa 1984., te Maro Balić nositelj zlatne olimpijske medalje iz Atlante 1996. godine. Svi su oni jedan drugom bili uzori kao i onima koji su se ispričali jer danas nisu mogli biti na događaju, a to su Miho Bošković i Paulo Obradović.

- Druženje je započelo i završilo uz cavtatsku himnu vaterpolu Od Ferala sve do ponte ne dajemo nikom konte… Učenici su pripremili pitanja te se iz odgovora potvrdilo da je bilo koji sport važan i koristan, te su gotovo svi učenici u dvorani podigli ruku da i sami treniraju. Učenicima je naglašeno da je škola vrlo važna i da treba biti na prvom mjestu, a onda i sport uz što više tjelesne kulture u školi. Vrijeme je bilo kratko za nabrojiti sve uspjehe, rezultate, odličja i priznanja naših sugovornika koje su zaslužili kroz svoje sportsko djelovanje. Urezuje se u sjećanje i rečenica koju je izrekao gospodin Sukno da je ‘bubicu‘ da će jednom biti olimpijac odredio kao svoj cilj još u desetoj godini te je potaknuo učenike da i oni tako odrede, a s jakom motivacijom i ciljem stižu i medalje. Spomenuli smo brojne bivše učenike naše škole i entuzijastične trenere cavtatskog kluba koji su i u drugim područjima života uspješni. Njihovi sportski rezultati zadužili su Hrvatsku te će se o svim ovim talentima ostati zauvijek zapamćeni i zapisani u povijesti sporta. Naši sugovornici su se izvrsno snašli u razgovoru s učenicima napustivši svoju jutarnju rutinu, iz zone komfora podno skalina svetoga Nikole čime smo bili iznimno počašćeni i ovim se putem još jednom zahvaljujemo, ističu iz OŠ Cavtat.
