Cavtat je nepresušno vrelo antičkih nalaza za arheologe koji su ovih ranoproljetnih dana aktivni u vrtu iza Hotela Supetar. Na tom su lokalitetu pronađene antikne iskopine, za koje se odmah pretpostavilo da bi mogle biti iz antičkog doba. Mještani kažu kako je otkriće uslijedilo tijekom radova na hotelskom bazenu.

Hotel Supetar inače je u sastavu Jadranskih luksuznih hotela, odakle su nam na upit o istraživanjima odgovorili:

- Od samog početka pripremnih radova na projektu rekonstrukcije Hotela Supetar u Cavtatu, a zbog samog lokaliteta na kojem se Hotel Supetar nalazi, Jadranski luksuzni hoteli u stalnom su kontaktu s  Konzervatorskim odjelom Dubrovnik koji je u nadležnosti Ministarstva kulture i medija – uprave za zaštitu kulturne baštine. Tijekom jednog od njihovih redovnih konzervatorskih nadzora i pregleda terena, otkriveni su ostaci arhitekture stambene rimske izgradnje i utvrđena je potreba arheološkog istraživanja. I dalje smo u stalnom kontaktu s Konzervatorskim odjelom od kojih dobivamo daljnje upute za postupanje - izvijestila je glasnogovorica Jadranskih luksuznih hotela Zrinka Marinović.

O prirodi arheoloških istraživanja raspitali smo se i u Ministarstvu kulture RH, no odgovora sa Zrinjevca danas neće biti. Glasnogovornica Renata Margaretić Urlić poručila je kako za to treba vremena, a u utorak su bili zauzeti i zbog obilježavanja druge godišnjice zagrebačkog potresa.

Ministarstvo je inače lani u ožujku zaštitilo još jedan iznimno značajan cavtatski povijesni lokalitet. Tad su tijekom izvođenja pripremnih radova uoči izgradnje hotela "Albatros 2" u Cavtatu, radnici naišli na vrijedne ostatke antičkog podnog mozaika iz rimskog doba, odnosno iz vremena kada je u tom dijelu Konavala egzistirao grad Epidaurum odakle, prema legendi, potječu prvi stanovnici i graditelji Dubrovnika.

Konzervatorski odjel u Dubrovniku u postupku ishođenja lokacijske dozvole je tad izvijestio kako je investitoru Hoteli Cavtat d.d. svibnja prošle godine izdao posebne uvjete kojima je, s obzirom na arheološki potencijal područja te već utvrđene arheološke nalaze u širem prostornom obuhvatu, zatražio provedbu probnih arheoloških istraživanja kao preduvjet za daljnju razradu projekta.

Cavtat je nepresušno vrelo antičkih nalaza za arheologe koji su ovih ranoproljetnih dana aktivni u vrtu iza Hotela Supetar. Na tom su lokalitetu pronađene antikne iskopine, za koje se odmah pretpostavilo da bi mogle biti iz antičkog doba. Mještani kažu kako je otkriće uslijedilo tijekom radova na hotelskom bazenu.

Hotel Supetar inače je u sastavu Jadranskih luksuznih hotela, odakle su nam na upit o istraživanjima odgovorili:

- Od samog početka pripremnih radova na projektu rekonstrukcije Hotela Supetar u Cavtatu, a zbog samog lokaliteta na kojem se Hotel Supetar nalazi, Jadranski luksuzni hoteli u stalnom su kontaktu s  Konzervatorskim odjelom Dubrovnik koji je u nadležnosti Ministarstva kulture i medija – uprave za zaštitu kulturne baštine. Tijekom jednog od njihovih redovnih konzervatorskih nadzora i pregleda terena, otkriveni su ostaci arhitekture stambene rimske izgradnje i utvrđena je potreba arheološkog istraživanja. I dalje smo u stalnom kontaktu s Konzervatorskim odjelom od kojih dobivamo daljnje upute za postupanje - izvijestila je glasnogovorica Jadranskih luksuznih hotela Zrinka Marinović.

O prirodi arheoloških istraživanja raspitali smo se i u Ministarstvu kulture RH, no odgovora sa Zrinjevca danas neće biti. Glasnogovornica Renata Margaretić Urlić poručila je kako za to treba vremena, a u utorak su bili zauzeti i zbog obilježavanja druge godišnjice zagrebačkog potresa.

Ministarstvo je inače lani u ožujku zaštitilo još jedan iznimno značajan cavtatski povijesni lokalitet. Tad su tijekom izvođenja pripremnih radova uoči izgradnje hotela "Albatros 2" u Cavtatu, radnici naišli na vrijedne ostatke antičkog podnog mozaika iz rimskog doba, odnosno iz vremena kada je u tom dijelu Konavala egzistirao grad Epidaurum odakle, prema legendi, potječu prvi stanovnici i graditelji Dubrovnika.

Konzervatorski odjel u Dubrovniku u postupku ishođenja lokacijske dozvole je tad izvijestio kako je investitoru Hoteli Cavtat d.d. svibnja prošle godine izdao posebne uvjete kojima je, s obzirom na arheološki potencijal područja te već utvrđene arheološke nalaze u širem prostornom obuhvatu, zatražio provedbu probnih arheoloških istraživanja kao preduvjet za daljnju razradu projekta.

Cavtat je nepresušno vrelo antičkih nalaza za arheologe koji su ovih ranoproljetnih dana aktivni u vrtu iza Hotela Supetar. Na tom su lokalitetu pronađene antikne iskopine, za koje se odmah pretpostavilo da bi mogle biti iz antičkog doba. Mještani kažu kako je otkriće uslijedilo tijekom radova na hotelskom bazenu.

Hotel Supetar inače je u sastavu Jadranskih luksuznih hotela, odakle su nam na upit o istraživanjima odgovorili:

- Od samog početka pripremnih radova na projektu rekonstrukcije Hotela Supetar u Cavtatu, a zbog samog lokaliteta na kojem se Hotel Supetar nalazi, Jadranski luksuzni hoteli u stalnom su kontaktu s  Konzervatorskim odjelom Dubrovnik koji je u nadležnosti Ministarstva kulture i medija – uprave za zaštitu kulturne baštine. Tijekom jednog od njihovih redovnih konzervatorskih nadzora i pregleda terena, otkriveni su ostaci arhitekture stambene rimske izgradnje i utvrđena je potreba arheološkog istraživanja. I dalje smo u stalnom kontaktu s Konzervatorskim odjelom od kojih dobivamo daljnje upute za postupanje - izvijestila je glasnogovorica Jadranskih luksuznih hotela Zrinka Marinović.

O prirodi arheoloških istraživanja raspitali smo se i u Ministarstvu kulture RH, no odgovora sa Zrinjevca danas neće biti. Glasnogovornica Renata Margaretić Urlić poručila je kako za to treba vremena, a u utorak su bili zauzeti i zbog obilježavanja druge godišnjice zagrebačkog potresa.

Ministarstvo je inače lani u ožujku zaštitilo još jedan iznimno značajan cavtatski povijesni lokalitet. Tad su tijekom izvođenja pripremnih radova uoči izgradnje hotela "Albatros 2" u Cavtatu, radnici naišli na vrijedne ostatke antičkog podnog mozaika iz rimskog doba, odnosno iz vremena kada je u tom dijelu Konavala egzistirao grad Epidaurum odakle, prema legendi, potječu prvi stanovnici i graditelji Dubrovnika.

Konzervatorski odjel u Dubrovniku u postupku ishođenja lokacijske dozvole je tad izvijestio kako je investitoru Hoteli Cavtat d.d. svibnja prošle godine izdao posebne uvjete kojima je, s obzirom na arheološki potencijal područja te već utvrđene arheološke nalaze u širem prostornom obuhvatu, zatražio provedbu probnih arheoloških istraživanja kao preduvjet za daljnju razradu projekta.
