Dok traje odbrojavanje do puštanja u promet Pelješkog mosta, ne prestaju polemike oko toga tko je inicirao gradnju s ciljem spajanja razdvojenih dijelova Županije, pokojni SDP-ov župan dubrovačko-neretvanski Ivan Šprlje 1997. ili HDZ-ov veteran Luka Bebić prvim spomenom projekta u Hrvatskom saboru godinu dana kasnije.

Treća i po mnogima najizglednija verzija jest da je premošćivanje Hrvatske zapravo zamisao povratnika iz SAD-a, Primorca, pokojnog Pera Glumca. Predaja kaže kako se ideja rodila 1994. u caffeu Charlie, da bi je gospar Pero 1998. pretočio u peticiju i pokrenuo prikupljanje potpisa za izgradnju Pelješkog mosta. HDZ je u to doba projekt uvrstio među prioritete u programu naziva ‘Raditi i graditi’.

Glumac je umro u 91. godini, ne dočekavši ostvarenje dugogodišnjeg sna. No, jedan je drugi most ipak otvorio, onaj dubrovački, nazvan imenom njegova velikog prijatelja, prvog hrvatskog predsjednika dr. Franja Tuđmana.

Rodom iz Lisca, adresom Lapađanin, po povratku iz dijaspore 2002. Glumac je prvi na konju prešao most na svečanom otvaranju, odjeven u primorsku narodnu nošnju.

Dok traje odbrojavanje do puštanja u promet Pelješkog mosta, ne prestaju polemike oko toga tko je inicirao gradnju s ciljem spajanja razdvojenih dijelova Županije, pokojni SDP-ov župan dubrovačko-neretvanski Ivan Šprlje 1997. ili HDZ-ov veteran Luka Bebić prvim spomenom projekta u Hrvatskom saboru godinu dana kasnije.

Treća i po mnogima najizglednija verzija jest da je premošćivanje Hrvatske zapravo zamisao povratnika iz SAD-a, Primorca, pokojnog Pera Glumca. Predaja kaže kako se ideja rodila 1994. u caffeu Charlie, da bi je gospar Pero 1998. pretočio u peticiju i pokrenuo prikupljanje potpisa za izgradnju Pelješkog mosta. HDZ je u to doba projekt uvrstio među prioritete u programu naziva ‘Raditi i graditi’.

Glumac je umro u 91. godini, ne dočekavši ostvarenje dugogodišnjeg sna. No, jedan je drugi most ipak otvorio, onaj dubrovački, nazvan imenom njegova velikog prijatelja, prvog hrvatskog predsjednika dr. Franja Tuđmana.

Rodom iz Lisca, adresom Lapađanin, po povratku iz dijaspore 2002. Glumac je prvi na konju prešao most na svečanom otvaranju, odjeven u primorsku narodnu nošnju.

Pero Glumac nije dočekao otvorenje Pelješkog mosta, ali je preko dubrovačkog ponosno projahao

Dok traje odbrojavanje do puštanja u promet Pelješkog mosta, ne prestaju polemike oko toga tko je inicirao gradnju s ciljem spajanja razdvojenih dijelova Županije, pokojni SDP-ov župan dubrovačko-neretvanski Ivan Šprlje 1997. ili HDZ-ov veteran Luka Bebić prvim spomenom projekta u Hrvatskom saboru godinu dana kasnije.

Treća i po mnogima najizglednija verzija jest da je premošćivanje Hrvatske zapravo zamisao povratnika iz SAD-a, Primorca, pokojnog Pera Glumca. Predaja kaže kako se ideja rodila 1994. u caffeu Charlie, da bi je gospar Pero 1998. pretočio u peticiju i pokrenuo prikupljanje potpisa za izgradnju Pelješkog mosta. HDZ je u to doba projekt uvrstio među prioritete u programu naziva ‘Raditi i graditi’.

Glumac je umro u 91. godini, ne dočekavši ostvarenje dugogodišnjeg sna. No, jedan je drugi most ipak otvorio, onaj dubrovački, nazvan imenom njegova velikog prijatelja, prvog hrvatskog predsjednika dr. Franja Tuđmana.

Rodom iz Lisca, adresom Lapađanin, po povratku iz dijaspore 2002. Glumac je prvi na konju prešao most na svečanom otvaranju, odjeven u primorsku narodnu nošnju.
