Dubrovački lučki kapetan Mato Kekez u izjavi o pomorskoj nesreći jučer tijekom poslijepodneva u kojoj su se prevrnuli kajaci potvrdio je kako je potraga obustavljena, a nađeni su svi kajaci.
- Na Lokrumu je nađen kajak s kompletnom opremom u kraju što daje za pretpostavku da su osobe u redu. Tragalo se za osobama, ali kajak nije nađen. Kajak je uredno nađen u kraju, taj kajak nije bio u moru, istaknuo je lučki kapetan Kekez i dodao kako je potraga obustavljena i kako su došli do zaključka kako ne traže osobe.

Izjavio je kako ne znaju tko su izletnici s kajaka budući da iznajmljivači nisu dužni prikupljati popis izletnika te da su ovi za koje se mislilo da su nestali privatno iznajmili kajake bez vodića.

- Išlo se s više lokacija, bilo ih je od više iznajmljivača... Bilo je 19 kajaka, neki su od njih dvosjedi - dodao je Kekez i pojasnio kako za eventualne sankcije prema bilo kome od aktera pomorske nezgode nema temelja:
- Nemamo propisano ništa jer su kajaci legalno iznajmljeni. Korisnici su to uredno platili, izašli na more, njihov je rizik. Jedino što su putnike trebali uputiti na vremenska neprilike, mi to ne znamo, oni tvrde kako jesu sugerirali - kazao je Kekez a na pitanje znači li to da se ovakva situacija može ponoviti odgovorio je potvrdno. - Mi možemo dati prijedloge da se poveća sigurnost, no nitko ne može jamčiti da će se ovakva situacija dogoditi već danas. Kajaci imaju pravo ploviti i plovnim putem ali 500 metara od obale te se moralu pridržavati pomorskih plovila - zaključio je dubrovački lučki kapetan.

Dubrovački lučki kapetan Mato Kekez u izjavi o pomorskoj nesreći jučer tijekom poslijepodneva u kojoj su se prevrnuli kajaci potvrdio je kako je potraga obustavljena, a nađeni su svi kajaci.
- Na Lokrumu je nađen kajak s kompletnom opremom u kraju što daje za pretpostavku da su osobe u redu. Tragalo se za osobama, ali kajak nije nađen. Kajak je uredno nađen u kraju, taj kajak nije bio u moru, istaknuo je lučki kapetan Kekez i dodao kako je potraga obustavljena i kako su došli do zaključka kako ne traže osobe.

Izjavio je kako ne znaju tko su izletnici s kajaka budući da iznajmljivači nisu dužni prikupljati popis izletnika te da su ovi za koje se mislilo da su nestali privatno iznajmili kajake bez vodića.

Zapovjednik ‘Zrinskog‘ o spašavanju kajakaša: ‘Pretražili smo područje u krugu 5 milja oko Lokruma, na svašta smo naišli...‘

Prognoze su bile jasne, s kajakom se ne izlazi na more s takvim upozorenjima
Čemu laži? Sjetite se kako je Tomo Šeparović ostao bez svoje Jovanke. Bila je to tragedija, ali mala u odnosu na ono što se jučer moglo dogoditi
- Išlo se s više lokacija, bilo ih je od više iznajmljivača... Bilo je 19 kajaka, neki su od njih dvosjedi - dodao je Kekez i pojasnio kako za eventualne sankcije prema bilo kome od aktera pomorske nezgode nema temelja:
- Nemamo propisano ništa jer su kajaci legalno iznajmljeni. Korisnici su to uredno platili, izašli na more, njihov je rizik. Jedino što su putnike trebali uputiti na vremenska neprilike, mi to ne znamo, oni tvrde kako jesu sugerirali - kazao je Kekez a na pitanje znači li to da se ovakva situacija može ponoviti odgovorio je potvrdno. - Mi možemo dati prijedloge da se poveća sigurnost, no nitko ne može jamčiti da će se ovakva situacija dogoditi već danas. Kajaci imaju pravo ploviti i plovnim putem ali 500 metara od obale te se moralu pridržavati pomorskih plovila - zaključio je dubrovački lučki kapetan.
