Trkaći reli bolidi su uz bolide Formule 1 sigurno najsigurnija vozila na svijetu. Okvir od oko 60 metara cijevi sigurnosnog kaveza u modernim WRC automobilima brine se za maksimalnu sigurnost vozača i navigatora i gotovo da je samo vjetrobran ostao od serijskog auta, piše Jutarnji list.

Ako se prilikom kontrole na zaštitnom okviru primijete i najmanje nepravilnosti auto ne može nastupiti.

Zato je zapravo teško i povjerovati da je danas smrtno nastradao irski vozač Craig Breen u WRC bolidu Hyundaija jer su nesreće u reliju česte, ali već desetljećima sa smrtnim ishodom vrlo rijetke.

Tako pamtimo da je 2005. godine britanski reli u južnom Walesu završio prije vremena i na tragičan način kada je na jednom brzincu poginuo suvozač Estonca Markka Martina u Peugeotu 307, 39-godišnji Britanac Michael Park.

Markko Martin velikom se brzinom zabio u drvo sa suvozačeve strane što je bilo kobno za Parka.

Nadalje, tešku nesreću u na reliju 2011. nastupajući u Škodi Fabiji u Super2000 kategoriji na reliju Ronde di Andora imao je Robert Kubica koji se pri velikoj brzini zabio u zid pored jedne crkvice uz koju je prolazila trasa relija.

Kubičin suvozač je prošao bez težih ozljeda, no Poljak je prošao lošije, s dijagnozom višestrukog prijeloma desne ruke, noge i šake te je gotovo ostao bez ruke.

Posljednja velika nesreća sa smrtnim ishodom na reliju dogodila se 2. svibnja 1986. kada su Henri Toivonen i Sergio Cresto poginuli u plamtećoj Lanciji Delta S4 na reliju Korzika. Prilikom vožnje izletjeli su s ceste i survali su se u provaliju.

Sve to govori koliko su WRC bolidi sigurni pa je vijest da je danas na treningu kod Lobora smrtno stradao irski vozač Craig Breen gotovo nadrealna. Prema prvim informacijama Breen je prednjim lijevim krajem s vozačeve strane udario u drveni stup i na mjestu preminuo, dok je suvozač prošao bez ozljeda.

Pretpostavljamo da je kombinacija velike brzine, glatkog asfalta i kiše dovela do izlijetanja na dijelu gdje se vozi i 150 km/h, a udarac u drveni stup je bio koban za Breena. Sva energija udarca "slila" se na jedno mjesto, moguće je da je "zaštitni kavez" probijen, a ako nije moguće je da je zbog velike brzine došlo do unutarnjih ozljeda, prema dostupnim fotografijama s mjesta nesreće. No tada bi isto prošao i suvozač. Ne može se izuzeti ni da je nešto prilikom udarca uletjelo u kabinu kroz prednji vjetrobran što je bilo kobno za vozača, ali najvjerojatnije je da je horizontalni stup ograde probio karoseriju (vertikalni stup je srušen) i ozlijedio Breena, međutim svi detalji bit će poznati nakon očevida...

Nesreća se dogodila oko 12.40 na lokalnoj cesti 2201 u Loboru, kada je rally osobno vozilo tijekom trening vožnje za WRC Croatia Rally 2023.sletjelo s ceste i prednjim dijelom udarilo u drveni stup.

Hrvatski auto i kartig savez i organizator WRC Croatia Rallyja službeno će se obratiti medijima povodom stradavanja Craiga Breena danas u 17 sati.

Trkaći reli bolidi su uz bolide Formule 1 sigurno najsigurnija vozila na svijetu. Okvir od oko 60 metara cijevi sigurnosnog kaveza u modernim WRC automobilima brine se za maksimalnu sigurnost vozača i navigatora i gotovo da je samo vjetrobran ostao od serijskog auta, piše Jutarnji list.

Ako se prilikom kontrole na zaštitnom okviru primijete i najmanje nepravilnosti auto ne može nastupiti.

Zato je zapravo teško i povjerovati da je danas smrtno nastradao irski vozač Craig Breen u WRC bolidu Hyundaija jer su nesreće u reliju česte, ali već desetljećima sa smrtnim ishodom vrlo rijetke.

Tako pamtimo da je 2005. godine britanski reli u južnom Walesu završio prije vremena i na tragičan način kada je na jednom brzincu poginuo suvozač Estonca Markka Martina u Peugeotu 307, 39-godišnji Britanac Michael Park.

Markko Martin velikom se brzinom zabio u drvo sa suvozačeve strane što je bilo kobno za Parka.

Nadalje, tešku nesreću u na reliju 2011. nastupajući u Škodi Fabiji u Super2000 kategoriji na reliju Ronde di Andora imao je Robert Kubica koji se pri velikoj brzini zabio u zid pored jedne crkvice uz koju je prolazila trasa relija.

Kubičin suvozač je prošao bez težih ozljeda, no Poljak je prošao lošije, s dijagnozom višestrukog prijeloma desne ruke, noge i šake te je gotovo ostao bez ruke.

Posljednja velika nesreća sa smrtnim ishodom na reliju dogodila se 2. svibnja 1986. kada su Henri Toivonen i Sergio Cresto poginuli u plamtećoj Lanciji Delta S4 na reliju Korzika. Prilikom vožnje izletjeli su s ceste i survali su se u provaliju.

Sve to govori koliko su WRC bolidi sigurni pa je vijest da je danas na treningu kod Lobora smrtno stradao irski vozač Craig Breen gotovo nadrealna. Prema prvim informacijama Breen je prednjim lijevim krajem s vozačeve strane udario u drveni stup i na mjestu preminuo, dok je suvozač prošao bez ozljeda.

Pretpostavljamo da je kombinacija velike brzine, glatkog asfalta i kiše dovela do izlijetanja na dijelu gdje se vozi i 150 km/h, a udarac u drveni stup je bio koban za Breena. Sva energija udarca "slila" se na jedno mjesto, moguće je da je "zaštitni kavez" probijen, a ako nije moguće je da je zbog velike brzine došlo do unutarnjih ozljeda, prema dostupnim fotografijama s mjesta nesreće. No tada bi isto prošao i suvozač. Ne može se izuzeti ni da je nešto prilikom udarca uletjelo u kabinu kroz prednji vjetrobran što je bilo kobno za vozača, ali najvjerojatnije je da je horizontalni stup ograde probio karoseriju (vertikalni stup je srušen) i ozlijedio Breena, međutim svi detalji bit će poznati nakon očevida...

U WRC bolidima rijetko se gine, moralo je biti nešto specifično, dva su moguća scenarija

Trkaći reli bolidi su uz bolide Formule 1 sigurno najsigurnija vozila na svijetu. Okvir od oko 60 metara cijevi sigurnosnog kaveza u modernim WRC automobilima brine se za maksimalnu sigurnost vozača i navigatora i gotovo da je samo vjetrobran ostao od serijskog auta, piše Jutarnji list.

Ako se prilikom kontrole na zaštitnom okviru primijete i najmanje nepravilnosti auto ne može nastupiti.

Zato je zapravo teško i povjerovati da je danas smrtno nastradao irski vozač Craig Breen u WRC bolidu Hyundaija jer su nesreće u reliju česte, ali već desetljećima sa smrtnim ishodom vrlo rijetke.

Tako pamtimo da je 2005. godine britanski reli u južnom Walesu završio prije vremena i na tragičan način kada je na jednom brzincu poginuo suvozač Estonca Markka Martina u Peugeotu 307, 39-godišnji Britanac Michael Park.

Markko Martin velikom se brzinom zabio u drvo sa suvozačeve strane što je bilo kobno za Parka.

Nadalje, tešku nesreću u na reliju 2011. nastupajući u Škodi Fabiji u Super2000 kategoriji na reliju Ronde di Andora imao je Robert Kubica koji se pri velikoj brzini zabio u zid pored jedne crkvice uz koju je prolazila trasa relija.

Kubičin suvozač je prošao bez težih ozljeda, no Poljak je prošao lošije, s dijagnozom višestrukog prijeloma desne ruke, noge i šake te je gotovo ostao bez ruke.

Posljednja velika nesreća sa smrtnim ishodom na reliju dogodila se 2. svibnja 1986. kada su Henri Toivonen i Sergio Cresto poginuli u plamtećoj Lanciji Delta S4 na reliju Korzika. Prilikom vožnje izletjeli su s ceste i survali su se u provaliju.

Sve to govori koliko su WRC bolidi sigurni pa je vijest da je danas na treningu kod Lobora smrtno stradao irski vozač Craig Breen gotovo nadrealna. Prema prvim informacijama Breen je prednjim lijevim krajem s vozačeve strane udario u drveni stup i na mjestu preminuo, dok je suvozač prošao bez ozljeda.

Pretpostavljamo da je kombinacija velike brzine, glatkog asfalta i kiše dovela do izlijetanja na dijelu gdje se vozi i 150 km/h, a udarac u drveni stup je bio koban za Breena. Sva energija udarca "slila" se na jedno mjesto, moguće je da je "zaštitni kavez" probijen, a ako nije moguće je da je zbog velike brzine došlo do unutarnjih ozljeda, prema dostupnim fotografijama s mjesta nesreće. No tada bi isto prošao i suvozač. Ne može se izuzeti ni da je nešto prilikom udarca uletjelo u kabinu kroz prednji vjetrobran što je bilo kobno za vozača, ali najvjerojatnije je da je horizontalni stup ograde probio karoseriju (vertikalni stup je srušen) i ozlijedio Breena, međutim svi detalji bit će poznati nakon očevida...
