S ponosom i odajući počast poginulim braniteljima i stradalim civilima Dubrovčani u srijedu obilježavaju Dan branitelja i 32. obljetnicu herojske obrane grada u Domovinskom ratu.

Na ‘crni petak dubrovački‘, u rano jutro 6. prosinca 1991. godine srpsko-crnogorski agresor pokrenuo je sveopći napad na grad. Najžešći napadi bili su na tvrđavu Imperijal na brdu Srđ ponad grada, kao i na povijesnu jezgru, hotel Belvedere te naselja Nuncijata i Sustjepan.

U jednom trenutku nekolicina branitelja u tvrđavi Imperijal zatražila je od suboraca iz grada da se vatra otvori baš po tvrđavi, na čiji su gornji dio već kročili daleko brojniji pripadnici agresorske vojske. Bio je to učinkovit odgovor jer je agresor bio prisiljen povući se uz velike gubitke.

U jednom danu život je izgubilo 19 civila i branitelja, a ranjeno je njih 60. Tijekom Domovinskog rata na dubrovačkom području poginulo je više od 300 branitelja i civila, svoje domove bilo je prisiljeno napustiti više od 30 tisuća stanovnika, a nanesena je i nemjerljiva materijalna šteta.

Program obilježavanja, kojim se odaje počast poginulim braniteljima i civilima koji su sudjelovali u obrani Dubrovnika, započeo je u nedjelju 3. prosinca križnim putem na Srđ i prikazivanjem dokumentarnog filma "Ljudi od mora".

U ponedjeljak je otvorena izložba o 15 godina djelovanja Muzeja Domovinskog rata u tvrđavi Imperijal te održano predavanje Martine Knežević i Josipa Bošnjakovića "Hrvatski branitelji i njihove obitelji u svjetlu ratnih i poratnih iskustava."

U utorak su diljem Dubrovnika položeni vijenci, u dubrovačkim osnovnim školama održan sat povijesti, predstavljeno novo idejno rješenje Spomen sobe poginulim braniteljima, otvorena izložba radova za park sa spomen-obilježjem poginuloj djeci u Domovinskom ratu, predstavljena knjiga Đura Kovačevića "Tako je pisao Ajant", prikazan film "Niti zaboraviti, niti oprostiti" te održan koncert Dubrovačkog simfonijskog orkestra i klape sv. Juraj HRM.

Na početku današnjeg obilježavanja poginulim braniteljima bit će odana počast na groblju i muslimanskom groblju Boninovo te kod spomenika poginulim pripadnicima MUP-a, uz prisjećanje na stradale vatrogasce i pripadnike HRM-a kod Hotela Libertas. Počast će biti odana i kod Križa na Srđu, uz recital djece osnovnih škola i nastup klape Ragusavecchia.

Na Stradunu će biti održan mimohod Gradske glazbe Dubrovnik. U staroj gradskoj luci odat će se počast pomorcima i braniteljima stradalim na moru, a na groblju u Sustjepanu stradalim braniteljima tog dijela grada. U atriju palače Sponza bit će otvorena izložba „Hrvatski školski brod Jadran 1933.-2023. - matična luka Split".

Današnji program će završiti u dubrovačkoj katedrali misom zadušnicom za poginule branitelje i civile, 3D mappingom stradavanja festivalske palače te koncertom Tomislava Bralića i klape Intrade.

U četvrtak će biti prikazan film "Tuđman: neispričana priča“, u petak je predstavljanje monografije Suada Ahmetovića "Iz opkoljenog Dubrovnika za Vjesnik u Zagrebu“, u subotu će se serpentinama Srđa trčati Utrka stazom ‘deva‘, a u ponedjeljak 11. prosinca je tribina Toda Oršulića "Povijest hrvatskog domobranstva 1868.-1945.".

S ponosom i odajući počast poginulim braniteljima i stradalim civilima Dubrovčani u srijedu obilježavaju Dan branitelja i 32. obljetnicu herojske obrane grada u Domovinskom ratu.

Na ‘crni petak dubrovački‘, u rano jutro 6. prosinca 1991. godine srpsko-crnogorski agresor pokrenuo je sveopći napad na grad. Najžešći napadi bili su na tvrđavu Imperijal na brdu Srđ ponad grada, kao i na povijesnu jezgru, hotel Belvedere te naselja Nuncijata i Sustjepan.

U jednom trenutku nekolicina branitelja u tvrđavi Imperijal zatražila je od suboraca iz grada da se vatra otvori baš po tvrđavi, na čiji su gornji dio već kročili daleko brojniji pripadnici agresorske vojske. Bio je to učinkovit odgovor jer je agresor bio prisiljen povući se uz velike gubitke.

U jednom danu život je izgubilo 19 civila i branitelja, a ranjeno je njih 60. Tijekom Domovinskog rata na dubrovačkom području poginulo je više od 300 branitelja i civila, svoje domove bilo je prisiljeno napustiti više od 30 tisuća stanovnika, a nanesena je i nemjerljiva materijalna šteta.

Program obilježavanja, kojim se odaje počast poginulim braniteljima i civilima koji su sudjelovali u obrani Dubrovnika, započeo je u nedjelju 3. prosinca križnim putem na Srđ i prikazivanjem dokumentarnog filma "Ljudi od mora".

U ponedjeljak je otvorena izložba o 15 godina djelovanja Muzeja Domovinskog rata u tvrđavi Imperijal te održano predavanje Martine Knežević i Josipa Bošnjakovića "Hrvatski branitelji i njihove obitelji u svjetlu ratnih i poratnih iskustava."

U utorak su diljem Dubrovnika položeni vijenci, u dubrovačkim osnovnim školama održan sat povijesti, predstavljeno novo idejno rješenje Spomen sobe poginulim braniteljima, otvorena izložba radova za park sa spomen-obilježjem poginuloj djeci u Domovinskom ratu, predstavljena knjiga Đura Kovačevića "Tako je pisao Ajant", prikazan film "Niti zaboraviti, niti oprostiti" te održan koncert Dubrovačkog simfonijskog orkestra i klape sv. Juraj HRM.

Na početku današnjeg obilježavanja poginulim braniteljima bit će odana počast na groblju i muslimanskom groblju Boninovo te kod spomenika poginulim pripadnicima MUP-a, uz prisjećanje na stradale vatrogasce i pripadnike HRM-a kod Hotela Libertas. Počast će biti odana i kod Križa na Srđu, uz recital djece osnovnih škola i nastup klape Ragusavecchia.

Na Stradunu će biti održan mimohod Gradske glazbe Dubrovnik. U staroj gradskoj luci odat će se počast pomorcima i braniteljima stradalim na moru, a na groblju u Sustjepanu stradalim braniteljima tog dijela grada. U atriju palače Sponza bit će otvorena izložba „Hrvatski školski brod Jadran 1933.-2023. - matična luka Split".

Današnji program će završiti u dubrovačkoj katedrali misom zadušnicom za poginule branitelje i civile, 3D mappingom stradavanja festivalske palače te koncertom Tomislava Bralića i klape Intrade.

U četvrtak će biti prikazan film "Tuđman: neispričana priča“, u petak je predstavljanje monografije Suada Ahmetovića "Iz opkoljenog Dubrovnika za Vjesnik u Zagrebu“, u subotu će se serpentinama Srđa trčati Utrka stazom ‘deva‘, a u ponedjeljak 11. prosinca je tribina Toda Oršulića "Povijest hrvatskog domobranstva 1868.-1945.".

S ponosom i odajući počast poginulim braniteljima i stradalim civilima Dubrovčani u srijedu obilježavaju Dan branitelja i 32. obljetnicu herojske obrane grada u Domovinskom ratu.

Na ‘crni petak dubrovački‘, u rano jutro 6. prosinca 1991. godine srpsko-crnogorski agresor pokrenuo je sveopći napad na grad. Najžešći napadi bili su na tvrđavu Imperijal na brdu Srđ ponad grada, kao i na povijesnu jezgru, hotel Belvedere te naselja Nuncijata i Sustjepan.

U jednom trenutku nekolicina branitelja u tvrđavi Imperijal zatražila je od suboraca iz grada da se vatra otvori baš po tvrđavi, na čiji su gornji dio već kročili daleko brojniji pripadnici agresorske vojske. Bio je to učinkovit odgovor jer je agresor bio prisiljen povući se uz velike gubitke.

U jednom danu život je izgubilo 19 civila i branitelja, a ranjeno je njih 60. Tijekom Domovinskog rata na dubrovačkom području poginulo je više od 300 branitelja i civila, svoje domove bilo je prisiljeno napustiti više od 30 tisuća stanovnika, a nanesena je i nemjerljiva materijalna šteta.
