Sijamski blizanci, odnosno blizanke rijetka su pojava koja se javlja otprilike jednom na 200.000 poroda, te nužno izaziva zanimanje. Sijamski blizanci rijetko javno istupaju pa javnost ostaje zakinuta za njihove priče i iskustva, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Međutim takav slučaj nije sa sestrama Abigail i Brittany Hensel, rođenima 1990. godine u Minnesoti. Mama Patty nije znala da nosi blizanke, a kada je rodila, bebe su odmah prevezene u kliniku u većem gradu. Njoj i suprugu liječnici su rekli da neće preživjeti noć. Međutim, čim su prvi put vidjeli djevojčice, znali su da su apsolutno prekrasne.

Abigail i Brittany smatraju se najrjeđim sijamskim blizancima i to zbog toga što se jedno oplođeno jajašce u maternici u cijelosti nije uspilo pravilno odvojiti. Stoga one imaju četiri plućna krila, dva srca, jednu jetru, dva želuca, jedna rebra, jedan par reproduktivnih organa, jedan mjehur i tri bubrega. Imaju zajednički krvožilni sustav dok im je živčani sustav samo djelomično odvojen.

Ni jedna od njih ne osjeća dodire na suprotnoj strani tijela. Kada se jedna od njih rukuje, druga to ne osjeća. Zato liječnici smatraju da su njihovi neuroni jedinstveni i da ne postoji drugi takav poznati slučaj na svijetu.

Abby i Brittany dobrog su zdravlja, jedino su osjetljivije na prehlade i imale su dvije upale pluća. Roditelji nikada nisu razmišljali o njihovu razdvajanju zbog straha da će jedno ili obje umrijeti ili ostati s teškim invaliditetom. Ipak iza njih je nekoliko teških operacija. Dok su još bile bebe, iz grudi im je uklonjena treća, nerazvijena ruka. Operativno im je ispravljena zakrivljenost kralježnice. Kada su imale 12 godina, proširena im je prsna šupljina, kako bi se spriječili probleme s disanjem.

Abigail i Brittany Hensel prvi su se put pojavile u javnosti 1996. godine, u šestoj godini života, kada su se predstavili u popularnoj TV emisiji Oprah Winfrey. Nastupile su i u nekoliko dokumentarnih filmova, a 2012. i u reality showu. Te su godine, svoje 22., postale aktivne i na društvenim mrežama.

U svim tim medijima sestre Hensel pričale su o svome životu. Otkrile su da jedna drugoj dovršavaju rečenice i čitaju misli, a tijela su im savršeno usklađena. Obje obožavaju svirati klavir. Abigail i Brittany obožavaju i sport. Trenirale su kuglanje, odbojku, biciklirale i plivale.

Blizanke kažu da su njihova tijela "podijeljena crvenom linijom". Moraju raditi usklađeno kako bi se pravilno kretale, navodi National Geographic.

Sličnosti i razlike sestara

Crvenom linijom odvojeni su im i temperamenti. Abigail je od malih nogu tvrdoglava, dok je Brittany vedri duh obitelji. Sestre imaju i različite interese. Abby voli matematiku, dok Brittany voli pisati. Obje su izuzetno društvene.

Išle su u redovnu školu i uspješno je završile. Potom su upisale Sveučilište Bethel u Arden Hillsu i diplomirale 2012. godine. Sa 16 godina uspješno su položile vozački ispit. Danas rade kao učiteljice u rodnom gradu.

Zato ne čudi da njihova životna priča, u kojoj su od rođenja uspješno svadale brojne prepreke i zadržale vedar duh, nadahnjuje mnoge ljude širom svijeta. Abigail i Brittany jedinstvene su izgleda ne samo po tjelesnoj građi, nego i po psihičkoj snazi. Naravno, obzirne kakve već jesu, nisu zaboravile istaknuti da svega toga ne bi bilo bez podrške obitelji i prijatelja.

Iako su puno toga ostvarile, Abby i Brittany imaju još nerealiziranih želja. Najveće od njih je da se udaju i postanu majke. Ali o detaljima ne žele javno govoriti.

Sudeći po onome što su do sada ostvarile, ne bi trebalo sumnjati u ostvarenje i te želje. Držimo im fige!

Sijamski blizanci, odnosno blizanke rijetka su pojava koja se javlja otprilike jednom na 200.000 poroda, te nužno izaziva zanimanje. Sijamski blizanci rijetko javno istupaju pa javnost ostaje zakinuta za njihove priče i iskustva, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.

Međutim takav slučaj nije sa sestrama Abigail i Brittany Hensel, rođenima 1990. godine u Minnesoti. Mama Patty nije znala da nosi blizanke, a kada je rodila, bebe su odmah prevezene u kliniku u većem gradu. Njoj i suprugu liječnici su rekli da neće preživjeti noć. Međutim, čim su prvi put vidjeli djevojčice, znali su da su apsolutno prekrasne.

Abigail i Brittany smatraju se najrjeđim sijamskim blizancima i to zbog toga što se jedno oplođeno jajašce u maternici u cijelosti nije uspilo pravilno odvojiti. Stoga one imaju četiri plućna krila, dva srca, jednu jetru, dva želuca, jedna rebra, jedan par reproduktivnih organa, jedan mjehur i tri bubrega. Imaju zajednički krvožilni sustav dok im je živčani sustav samo djelomično odvojen.

Ni jedna od njih ne osjeća dodire na suprotnoj strani tijela. Kada se jedna od njih rukuje, druga to ne osjeća. Zato liječnici smatraju da su njihovi neuroni jedinstveni i da ne postoji drugi takav poznati slučaj na svijetu.

Abby i Brittany dobrog su zdravlja, jedino su osjetljivije na prehlade i imale su dvije upale pluća. Roditelji nikada nisu razmišljali o njihovu razdvajanju zbog straha da će jedno ili obje umrijeti ili ostati s teškim invaliditetom. Ipak iza njih je nekoliko teških operacija. Dok su još bile bebe, iz grudi im je uklonjena treća, nerazvijena ruka. Operativno im je ispravljena zakrivljenost kralježnice. Kada su imale 12 godina, proširena im je prsna šupljina, kako bi se spriječili probleme s disanjem.

Abigail i Brittany Hensel prvi su se put pojavile u javnosti 1996. godine, u šestoj godini života, kada su se predstavili u popularnoj TV emisiji Oprah Winfrey. Nastupile su i u nekoliko dokumentarnih filmova, a 2012. i u reality showu. Te su godine, svoje 22., postale aktivne i na društvenim mrežama.

U svim tim medijima sestre Hensel pričale su o svome životu. Otkrile su da jedna drugoj dovršavaju rečenice i čitaju misli, a tijela su im savršeno usklađena. Obje obožavaju svirati klavir. Abigail i Brittany obožavaju i sport. Trenirale su kuglanje, odbojku, biciklirale i plivale.

Blizanke kažu da su njihova tijela "podijeljena crvenom linijom". Moraju raditi usklađeno kako bi se pravilno kretale, navodi National Geographic.

Sličnosti i razlike sestara

Crvenom linijom odvojeni su im i temperamenti. Abigail je od malih nogu tvrdoglava, dok je Brittany vedri duh obitelji. Sestre imaju i različite interese. Abby voli matematiku, dok Brittany voli pisati. Obje su izuzetno društvene.

Išle su u redovnu školu i uspješno je završile. Potom su upisale Sveučilište Bethel u Arden Hillsu i diplomirale 2012. godine. Sa 16 godina uspješno su položile vozački ispit. Danas rade kao učiteljice u rodnom gradu.

Zato ne čudi da njihova životna priča, u kojoj su od rođenja uspješno svadale brojne prepreke i zadržale vedar duh, nadahnjuje mnoge ljude širom svijeta. Abigail i Brittany jedinstvene su izgleda ne samo po tjelesnoj građi, nego i po psihičkoj snazi. Naravno, obzirne kakve već jesu, nisu zaboravile istaknuti da svega toga ne bi bilo bez podrške obitelji i prijatelja.

Iako su puno toga ostvarile, Abby i Brittany imaju još nerealiziranih želja. Najveće od njih je da se udaju i postanu majke. Ali o detaljima ne žele javno govoriti.
