U Izraelu je provedeno istraživanje koje sugerira da je samo 0,04 posto ljudi koji su primili obje doze Pfozer/BioNTechova cjepiva oboljelo od koronavirusa. Od 700.000 ljudi koji su cijepljeni u zemlji koja se smatra svjetskim prvakom po brzini cijepljenja, samo njih 300 je kasnije oboljelo od koronavirusa, od čega je njih 16 moralo biti hospitalizirano, govore preliminarni podaci, prenosi Daily Mail.
Također se u istraživanju navodi da cjepivo štiti od zaraznijeg soja virusa, otkrivenog u Velikoj Britaniji.
Profesor Eyal Leshem, izraelski specijalist za zarazne bolesti, rekao je da su to jako dobre vijesti.
Nakon prve doze cjepiva broj novozaraženih se drastično smanjio, a nakon primljene druge doze, tek 0,04 cijepljenih je oboljelo.
- Vrijeme će biti najbolji pokazatelj, još uvijek prikupljamo podatke, ali ovo su vrlo ohrabrujući preliminarni podaci, rekao je.
Više od 30 posto izraelske populacije primilo je cjepivo, a već je provedeno nekoliko istraživanja kako bi se utvrdila njegova učinkovitost.
- S jedne strane, imamo veliku transmisiju bolesti među stanovništvom gdje bilježimo 1000 novih slučajeva zaraze na dan, najvišu stopu otkako je počela epidemija, ali ako proučimo stanje izbliza, stotine tisuća cijepljenih Izraelaca se neće zaraziti. Čak i u tih nekoliko slučajeva, oboljeli su uglavnom imali blaži oblik bolesti, a samo jedan dio je ozbiljno obolio i bio je hospitaliziran.
- Većina cijepljenih Izraelaca su ljudi iznad 60 godina, zbog čega su rezultati još više nevjerojatniji, dodao je profesor.
Podaci prvih istraživanja također sugeriraju da je uočen smanjen broj zaraza kod ljudi koji su primili samo prvu dozu cjepiva.

U Izraelu je provedeno istraživanje koje sugerira da je samo 0,04 posto ljudi koji su primili obje doze Pfozer/BioNTechova cjepiva oboljelo od koronavirusa. Od 700.000 ljudi koji su cijepljeni u zemlji koja se smatra svjetskim prvakom po brzini cijepljenja, samo njih 300 je kasnije oboljelo od koronavirusa, od čega je njih 16 moralo biti hospitalizirano, govore preliminarni podaci, prenosi Daily Mail.
Također se u istraživanju navodi da cjepivo štiti od zaraznijeg soja virusa, otkrivenog u Velikoj Britaniji.
Profesor Eyal Leshem, izraelski specijalist za zarazne bolesti, rekao je da su to jako dobre vijesti.
Nakon prve doze cjepiva broj novozaraženih se drastično smanjio, a nakon primljene druge doze, tek 0,04 cijepljenih je oboljelo.
- Vrijeme će biti najbolji pokazatelj, još uvijek prikupljamo podatke, ali ovo su vrlo ohrabrujući preliminarni podaci, rekao je.
Više od 30 posto izraelske populacije primilo je cjepivo, a već je provedeno nekoliko istraživanja kako bi se utvrdila njegova učinkovitost.
- S jedne strane, imamo veliku transmisiju bolesti među stanovništvom gdje bilježimo 1000 novih slučajeva zaraze na dan, najvišu stopu otkako je počela epidemija, ali ako proučimo stanje izbliza, stotine tisuća cijepljenih Izraelaca se neće zaraziti. Čak i u tih nekoliko slučajeva, oboljeli su uglavnom imali blaži oblik bolesti, a samo jedan dio je ozbiljno obolio i bio je hospitaliziran.
- Većina cijepljenih Izraelaca su ljudi iznad 60 godina, zbog čega su rezultati još više nevjerojatniji, dodao je profesor.
Podaci prvih istraživanja također sugeriraju da je uočen smanjen broj zaraza kod ljudi koji su primili samo prvu dozu cjepiva.
